Chapter 44: Song Ran, Who Are You Trying To Kid?

She spent her money and took a taxi to the Damuqiao Bird and Flower Market. After walking one round, she did not spot the two of them. Under the summer sun, she had to ask the pa.s.sers-by if they had seen a couple – a girl with a guy who was slightly taller than her.

She did not give up and went round after round. She asked many people. No matter how dry her mouth was or how dizzy she got, she kept looking but saw no sign of them.

After spending half a day in the bird and flower market, she then realized that Song Ran was not even there. She had tricked her.
