But it did not look like a rotting corpse walking around. 

I turned towards Sola and motioned for her to come take a look. "Is that a Del'ol'as?"

"Un… It is. It matches the pictures and descriptions I have seen and heard. Do not let the black stuff touch you, it is poisonous and deadly." Sola said seriously. 

"Okay then. I will go and scout a bit. I want to see if I can spot any more Del'ol'as. You three stay here. If anything goes wrong or I am not back within ten minutes just run and get out of here. Sola I will have to ask you to seal the area if that happens." I went to turn to leave but was pulled back and felt something warm pushed up against my lips.

Rio shoved her tongue in my mouth and swirled it around a few times before releasing my lips. "Sora no matter what you have to be careful. If you do not come back I will come searching for you no matter what. Otherwise, I will follow you in death..." Rio's eyes were very resolute as she said this. I knew if I did not come back she would do as she had said. 

I did not say a word as I did not want to give false promises. Instead, I gave Rio a hug followed by Caeda. When I hugged Sola, I whispered into her ear. "If something happens to me restrain Rio from hurting herself. I will leave the family in your hands."

"Do not worry I will make sure no harm comes to any of them." Sola whispered back. I smiled and gave her a kiss before walking into the hallway and closing the door behind me.
