Dark Assassin Chronicles 21 Chapter 21

"Aero Shield!" the cultivator said as the whirlwind in his hand started to expand quickly before protecting his whole body. Unable to react, the female fighter launched her kick towards the wall of wind before flying backwards.

With many pieces of her clothes ripped off with her skin sliced and drawing blood from underneath, the female fighter looked to be in very bad shape as she sat in the spot she was in unwilling to even look at the cultivator.

After just a moment, the referee announced that the female fighter had forfeited and that the win in this fight goes to the cultivator.

"So his name was Bradley, interesting." Tommy thought to himself after hearing the cultivator's name from the referee. This was not a surprise to Tommy to see the female fighter losing to a cultivator, but what did surprise him was the cultivator's technique.

Tommy was not a stranger to seeing different elemental techniques being used in battle since he was very young and able to attend matches in the coliseum. However, the strange part of the wind element technique he just witnessed, was that it was a technique that only those with a strong backing would be able to execute.

Depending on the technique, a cultivator was able to purchase quite a few depending on the place and the element they wanted. However, there were many techniques that were hard to find on the market due to the technique itself being stronger than the average techniques found everywhere.

Concerning the Aero Shield technique, if someone were to find it on the market being sold somewhere, the price would match its rarity. "I wonder what background he has." Tommy thought as he continued to watch the matches.

"The Aero Shield technique is hard to come by. I wonder what background that Bradley youngster has to have been able to receive such a gift?" one of the VIPs in the VIP area said after the match. This VIP wore a more barbaric looking wardrobe and his hair was long and messy.

This VIP was in charge of a guild of mercenaries that could even give one of the five n.o.ble clans of Maroon City a run for their money. His name was Leo and he was the guild master of the Restless Lions Guild.

"You can have that cultivator if you would like, my eyes are set on another one." a woman chimed in as she gave Leo a wink as if she knew something that he did not know.

"I am just pleased that one of the first matches caught everyone's attention." with a big smile, the governor replied before Leo could become too enraged from the woman's words. Leo was known to have a bit of an anger issue if someone looked down on him and was infamous for letting loose regardless of the consequences.

"Just remember that although there are only six cultivators we were able to sense, there are still another handful of those with interesting backgrounds that would put even my village to shame." the governor continued before looking back at the matches while the rest of the VIPs nodded their heads as they too continued to look on.
