Yan Liang once again stood in front of the heavy oaken door. She tried hard to adjust her mood then quietly knocked on the door. She got the approval and pushed open the door. Liang Xi Cheng was messing around with the computer. His expression was cold, but it also had an intoxicating glow.

Confident women are the most beautiful. Thus, a serious man similarly attracts people.

She slowly walked over. Slightly looking down, you could see his fingers fluttering over the keyboard.  The joints were prominent but were slender and had strength. She has seem many mens' fingers, but Liang Xi Cheng's were indeed the prettiest.

But she also knew apart from these fingers being enchanting, they were an expert in shifting one's ground.

For example, they were like the ebb and flow of business fortunes, the unstable stock market.

"You changed your mind so quickly. I want to hear your explanation." Yan Liang was still focused on those hands. The owner of said hands suddenly spoke; his voice was resonant and low.

Yan Liang hurriedly withdrew her gaze. She raised her head and just so happened to meet his deep eyes.

Her heart skipped a beat. She somewhat hurriedly looked away.

This man had a pair of really mesmerizing eyes. Adding that with his extraordinarily handsome face, even though Yan Liang wasn't the type to be smitten by a handsome face, she couldn't help feeling nervous.

"If I said EC's benefits were satisfying to me and furthermore I secretly investigated and found out the chairman's secretary's salary is very high, this kind of explanation, Chairman Liang would you think I'm a money grubber?" She quickly responded calmly. Whether or not if the response was true or false, the exchange caused Liang Xi Cheng to quirk his lips and laugh.

"People will do anything for money. If money is your motivation, then you're bound to work even harder."

It was very clear Liang Xi Cheng was very satisfied with the secretary in front of him. He raised one eyebrow. Again he messed with his computer. His tone was gentle but not without vigor, "From now on, you are my secretary. I also have a personal a.s.sistant. His name is Guan Jiu. He doesn't work at EC, but I already had someone place is contact details on your desk. He's quite familiar with my daily life. You can get in touch with him." He paused. He didn't even raise his head but paused and said, "Secretary Bai, I hope you don't disappoint me."

Yan Ling unconsciously straightened her back, "Yes , Chairman Liang."

"You can leave." Yan Liang just reached the office door when behind her back, the man's low voice added another line, "Bring me a cup of coffee. Also get ready. Tomorrow we are going on a business trip to B City. 6 AM flight. Wait for me at the airport."

Yan Liang didn't expect to right when she became his secretary to go on a business trip the second day. Although it was a bit sudden, she was actually able to be excited about work.

She looked over to see Liang Xi Cheng. He was still expressionlessly working on the computer. His face was stern and deep.

"I understand." She quietly replied and silently withdrew from the office.

Exiting the office, Yan Liang just then remembered she didn't ask Liang Xi Cheng what type of coffee he drinks. Thinking about how high-born he was, adding even half a piece of sugar too many wouldn't please him. When she was thinking if she should contact that Guan Jiu, suddenly someone knocked on the office door. Yan Liang raised her head, and her complexion immediately changed.
