My Multiverse Trip 445 Proper Procedures.

We arrive at the front of a ma.s.sive laboratory. A female in a lab coat walks out. "You must be the Steele family if you would please follow me we can get your registration finished and you will be given your official Pokémon league license and starter kit." She says looking at a clipboard before walking inside with us following.

"First order of business is filling out your paperwork and taking your pictures for your trainers license." She says leading us to a room with a couple of chairs and handing us a few clipboards and pens to fill out our information. We are all 18 at this point since that's legal adult age. After a couple minutes of scribbling down information she takes the papers back.

"For the fee of each starter kit and Pokémon the price is 10000 pokédollars except for the special ordered Pokémon that is nonstandard due to it being common the price is only an extra 2000$" she says and I hand her over all the money.

We head off to take our pictures while she gets everything processed. Luna is practically bouncing in her seat with glee. Even hinata and rias are excited. I just smile. It's nice to do something like this.

After our pictures are taken we are led to another room. "Your official starter kit includes 10 Pokéb.a.l.l.s, 3 potions, 3 antidotes, 1 Pokédex, 1 set of Pokégear. Your trainer card which when shown at any Pokémon center will get your Pokémon free healing and checkups. You also receive a bag of starter food for you Pokémon that can be purchased at any local mart." She says going over a check list and pa.s.sing us items one at a time. Finally she looks up at us and smiles "now it's time for the part I'm sure you've all been waiting for. Your starter Pokémon." Luna at this point it practically vibrating from glee.

The lady places 4 Pokéb.a.l.l.s on the table with little stickers on them. A flame, a water drop, a leaf, and a lightning bolt. Luna s.n.a.t.c.hes the ball with a lightning bolt on it at a speed I didn't think existed.

She quickly tosses it onto the floor, after a burst of red light a small yellow mouse matching her outfit pops out. "Pika?" It looks around in confusion before spotting the eager Luna. There's another squeal of delight and the sound of a pikachu being cuddled into oblivion.

I reach my hand out and grab the ball with a water drop. "Miss do you mind if I ask if you have any more of these stickers I can get?" I ask the lab a.s.sistant. "Of course for 5 dollars you can get a roll of a few hundred with all the elements." I pa.s.s her the money and she gives me a roll of stickers I pocket.

I toss my ball out there's another flash and standing there is a little 2 foot tall turtle. It looks around and spots me holding the ball.

I reach out and pat his head. "Looks like you and me are going to be partners from now on." I say with a smile. "Squirtle!" It replies happily.

Hinata grabs the ball with a leaf and lets out a Bulbasaur as a plant lover I figured it was suitable and she seems to quite like it. Rias got a charmander she adored and was hugging like Luna.

I turn back towards the receptionist. "Do you mind explaining the pokegear for me?" I ask her.

"Of course this is a state of the art item it has a map function with gps, solar charging and a long lasting batter. It can be used to receive emergency notifications and as a phone. It also acts as a small computer so you can purchase items which can be picked up at local Pokémon centers or pokemarts." She says showing me how to use it. It's a neat little item.

Currently we are in pallet town at professor oaks lab. This is one of his a.s.sistants in charge of helping out new trainers.

As a certified professional of the area it's his job to help new trainers with their first Pokémon. After that it's all on us.

"Is there a limit to how many Pokémon we can have on our person at once?" I ask her.

"There is no limit except when involved in professional matches such as gyms or the elite four. Your welcome to send some back to this lab though and we can watch over them for you." Which is nice of them.

"Well thank you very much for the information I figure we should head out now I've also got to rescue that pikachu before it's hugged to death." I say with a chuckle calling my squirtle back.

I quickly go and rescue the pikachu from Luna who just pouts at me. We head out of the lab and start on our grand adventure with Luna excitedly talking about how she going to catch them all and be a real master. I can only agree with her while Rias and Hinata chuckle.

On the plus side the pikachu she is holding is well behaved and not like ash's all the starter Pokémon we got are pretty mellow as they are for beginners.

Our first stop on this grand adventure is Viridian city which is a couple of miles away. From what I heard this is an intermediate gym and we can't challenge it until we have atleast 4 badges. Figures Giovanni would do something like this so not everyone could waste his time. Running team rocket is a pretty time consuming business. No matter I want to do a little bit of training around the area and get to know my Pokémon better maybe see if I can pick up another one.

I ask the girls who are all fine with it. We peacefully pa.s.s by a bunch of pidgey and spearow. Luna knows what happens if you haphazardly attack violent Pokémon like spearow and i would hate to have to fry them all.
