My Multiverse Trip 390 390. Terrible Idea.

What's revealed is just a basic walkway leading to some elevators.

we walk on in. the soldiers try prying the elevator open. At the bottom of the elevator shaft is a crushed elevator. Bad way to go.

"Looks like we are taking the stairs." I chuckle.

Sure enough that's the plan and we spend like five minutes running down f.u.c.king flights of stairs.

opening the door we come across gla.s.s cubicles filled with nasty water. some of them leaking.

"This is going to be a problem." one of them says.

"Why is that?" I ask.

"Well the place we need to go to get the information we need is on the other side of all these offices but as you can see they are locked down." he responds.

"Now let me tell you why it's going to be a f.u.c.king terrible idea to shut down the red queen systems." I say happily walking up to a cubicle holding a floating body.

They all look at me strangely as I rap on the gla.s.s with the b.u.t.t off my gun.

The dead body floating inside suddenly comes to life and starts trying to bite the gla.s.s.

"What the f.u.c.k is that?" the leader says looking at the zombie body.

"This is what the virus does. It turns dead bodies into mindless corpses whose only desire is to eat human flesh." I speak moving my hand over the gla.s.s as the zombie follows it.

"So your saying every dead body in here is alive and wants to eat us? And currently they are all locked up due to the red queen." he says looking at me seriously.

"Yep also everyone is infected so if any of you die near me I'm shooting you in the head and stomping on it to make double sure." I say c.o.c.king my gun.

"Also they are weak to headshots so if you idiots start shooting them in the chest they can just run it off." they all look at me seriously.

"This wasn't in any of the information we received how do you know it?" the leader asks.

"Saw dead people coming to life outside the mansion and chasing people down to eat them." I casually lie.

he looks at me seriously. "You heard the man anyone you see you shoot them in the head. No sloppy bulls.h.i.t." he says to his group who eye the zombie warily.

"One more thing. Don't open up any f.u.c.king elevators or I will shoot you." I tell them.

"Why?" one of them asks.

"Tell me where would most people run if alarms and gas start being released and you needed to escape fast?" I ask.

"The elevator." he replies.

"So what is most likely filling the elevators at this point in time?" I ask urging him on.

"Dead bodies who have been ga.s.sed or dropped to their death." he replies rubbing his head.

"And we just learned that the dead bodies aren't really dead. didn't we." I clap happily.

"We still need to deactivate the system to get the information and make it across the hive." the leader says not looking one bit happy. "Let's move out and get this horror show over with."

We move on to a giant room filled with all sorts of metal boxes and tubes.

"Sir this room isn't supposed to be here." says the tech guy going over his map.

"Wow umbrella having hidden rooms surprises you?" I laugh walking over to one of the boxes and looking inside. f.u.c.king terrible.

each on of these 30 or so giant cases contains a licker. If you don't know what a licker is then you haven't lived in horror my friends. It's a terrifying abomination with sharp claws it uses to climb on vents and ceilings and just ruin people f.u.c.king day with surprise stealth attacks and a monstrously long tongue.

Alice comes up behind me. "What are they?" She asks me.

"Not f.u.c.king good." I reply.

"Everyone stay close we don't know if there are any surprises lurking around the area. Do a sweep." comes the leaders voice.

Nothing shows up.

we make our way into another corridor with a few people staying behind to watch over the area we just cleared.

Inside the new room is a computer terminal and a locked door.

Tech guy sits down and starts doing his hacking thing. Soon the door opens revealing a long narrow hallway with gla.s.s walls and a locked door at the end. the leader walks inside quickly making his way to the other end of the room before attaching a weird electronic device to the keypad near the door.

The lights click on revealing an eerily familiar corridor.

"I wouldn't f.u.c.king go in there if I was you!" I shout towards them.

"It's fine the lights are automatic." Tech guy says.

"I'm telling you to get out of that corridor now." I say firmly.

"We can't we need to cut that door open its fine I've disabled the security system for the room." He says confidently.

The leader looks from me to him then back to the corridor.

"Bring the Lazer cutter we are close to being done then we can get out of here." the rest of the squad carries the heavy bag down the corridor.

The door behind the slams shut and an eerie sound starts as the lights flicker.

"You've killed them." I sigh.

The alarms blare and level 5 security measure pops up on his monitor.

"No no no this shouldn't be happening." he frantically clicks the keyboard.

I watch as a Lazer beam forms in the hallway before zipping down and slicing the head clean off the medic who didn't duck in time.

"Get the door open!" Shouts the leader inside.

Another Lazer forms close to the floor before moving towards the team. The first member tries to jump it only for the laser to fly up and slice him in half the leader grabs some pipes on the ceiling and pulls himself up barely making it in time.

Only he is left now.

"The door!!" he screams.

A net style lazer forms. There is no escape. the door behind him clicks open but it's far too late he's nothing but meat cubes now.

I have a funny feeling like I'm forgetting something very very important.

I walk inside and stomp on the people's heads who are dead. No remorse.

"Alice we are leaving." I tell the woman who looks at me in confusion and horror.

I remembered what was so important that I had forgotten.

the tech guy looks at me in confusion. "I need to finish the mission."

"Yeah you do that and I guarantee you will die." I pull Alice along behind me and head for the stairs quickly.

"Why are we leaving don't you need the information on the virus?" She asks me.

"Do you remember that man we found on the train." I ask her moving faster.

"Yes what about him?" she asks me.

"I'm 100% sure he was the cause of all this. Now if he was the cause of all this why would he leave empty handed instead of stealing a virus worth billions on the market?" I ask her.

"He wouldn't but you stripped him down he had nothing." she says.

"Yeah because it's still on the f.u.c.king train." We make our way up the stairs and the lights flicker off leaving nothing but red lights. The red queen has been shut down.

We move faster as we hear alarms and water from down below everything has been unlocked the zombies and Lickers are free. Gunshots and screams start to resound as we make it to the train.

I head to the back and sure enough there's a ma.s.sive duffel bag strapped there where people don't look. I unzip it and inside is a metal suitcase. I pop it open revealing green and blue virus tubes.

[congratulations host for finding the cure and the virus.] the system pops up.

'Did you mess with my memories or something why did I forget about this?' I mentally ask.

[Your mental faculties have not been tampered with however you have regular human thinking now. There may be things you forget at times.]

Ah f.u.c.k me.

I quickly bring the bag inside the train. Alice looks at it. "I was right this contains the virus and the anti virus. Get your gun out we may be getting company when we reach topside."

Sure enough when the train stops there's no one handcuffed to the rails anymore.

We slowly make our way out the grounds are covered with people wearing hazmat suits and holding guns.

Alice grabs the back of my tactical vest.

"We have to make a run for the truck." I tell her.

She looks at me and nods.

I pull out my keys and press a b.u.t.ton there's a maniac clown cackle and the people examining the truck jump back in shock.

The clown head on top suddenly opens it's mouth and starts spewing out liquid. There's a click and all the liquid goes up in flames. it starts to spin and fire the flame thrower all around clearing the area and that's when we make our move firing bullets into the nearby guards and running for the back of the open truck.

They finally come to and fire back sadly their aim is s.h.i.t and I only catch a few bullets to the chest which my vest blocks.

We make it safely to sweet tooth and dive inside locking the doors I can still hear gunfire pelting the outside of the truck.

I make my way to the drivers seat with Alice taking over the pa.s.sengers seat. "Hold onto this and buckle up its about to get a little crazy." I hand the virus case over to her.

I start up the truck as it lifts off the ground revealing it's tires. The flamethrower clown head stops.

I kick everything into gear and make my way to the gate running over everyone and everything in my path.

They try to block me with some white vans I just smash through like b.u.t.ter. Really this is an armored ice cream truck ment for this s.h.i.t.

The whole lawn is on fire at this point, with gunfire filling the air. I smash through the lock gate with a mighty crash as alice holds on for dear life. There's vans chasing after me. I smash a b.u.t.ton on the dash and a black oil slick sprays out behind the truck with another smash the road is covered in flames. I'll have to refill fluids later.

Soon we make it right into the city which is covered in zombies running rolling fires and crashed cars. There's an occasional thud as I slam a vehicle or zombie out of the way.

"Well that was exciting don't to think?" I ask the terrified woman clutching her seatbelt next to me.
