My Multiverse Trip 289 289. Shrek

"Ah my love just the two of us all alone for the night." I said swinging her around happily.

"I've waited so long for this moment." I breathed huskily in her ear dazing her before leaning in slowly for a kiss and watching her close her eyes slowly and expectantly only to be thrown on the bed with a mad cackle.

Snapping her eyes open with a beet red face she points at me angrily. "You jerk!" she shouts with a sad angry voice.

I silence the poor girl with a kiss on the forehead much to her surprise.

"Relax your much too young to be worried about those things try again in a few years." I say patting her head.

"Hmph" She huffs but is still satisfied.

"I blame all the girls for telling you so many love stories." I sighed out rubbing my forhead.

She just sticks her tongue out at me.

"Well now that we have some time and a place to stay let's go check out some of shops around here."

She quickly bounces to her feet. "Yes we can check out new dresses and shoes and...." I quickly ignore the rest.

She's still babbling on as we head out dodging past the workers fixing the floor.

This city is much larger than nuoding city there's a much bigger arena and more shopping areas. We browse around quite a lot with her looking through clothes and me checking out shops for books and strange objects.

We come across the p.a.w.nshop that the Dean of Shrek owns and I buy the stone on display for a cheap price as I don't ask questions. He sees the belt that grandmaster gave me and just let's me have the stone for free.

I know all about this rock it's a nasty weapon described in the tang sect manual. it's basically a needle that when fired into the skin curls up around itself and has to have a special method to be removed or you can only get it out by tearing out a chunk of skin.

After happily finishing up our shopping and looking around we had a nice steak dinner before heading back to the inn where we cuddled up for sleep and excitedly waited for the tests tommorow.

The next day.

"Ryan do you even know where the academy is?" Xiao Wu asked me curiously.

Out of Suotuo City, following the road straight southward, on both sides of the official road was a wide expanse of farmland, Suotuo City being famous for acting as Balak Kingdom's granary could not be more clearly said.

But, besides the wide expanse of farmland, as far as the eye could see, within the reach of eyesight, certainly was not any building resembling an academy.

"Nope the directions just said head south until we saw it." I tell her.

"Well in that case." She said with a sly smile and quickly jumped onto my back. "You can carry me until we arrive."

After a while of walking Xiao Wu quickly pointed into the distance. "Look a village."

sure enough i was able to clearly make it out, that village was about a hundred households or so, compared to Holy Spirit village's scale it was a bit smaller. Surrounding the village was a wooden fence, seemingly used to guard against wild animals. At the village entrance there seemed to be good deal of people gathered, for some unknown purpose.

"Well I guess we found Shrek academy." I tell her.

"What?!?! This tiny little village is the academy?" she shouts out.

At the village entrance was arranged a desk, behind the desk sat a sixty-something old man, making Xiao Wu dumbstruck was, over the arched village entrance made using logs was suspended a seemingly somewhat worn-out board, on it was simply engraved two words, 'Shrek Academy'.

Above these two words was also a green portrait, looking similar to a kind of humanoid monster's head. Bright green, a little cute. On the chest of the old man behind that table, also wore a similar green round emblem. It should be Shrek Academy's crest.

"No way."

Xiao Wu hopped down from my back, staring shocked at the board. Right now, lined up ahead of them, were approximately less than a hundred applicants, among them were not a few people with wrinkled brows, clearly in their hearts holding a similar opinion as Xiao Wu.

Ahead of me and Xiao Wu in the line was a youngster followed by parents at his side, they just heard that youngster's mother say "Isn't this a mistake, this spirit master academy, possesses the reputation that on graduating the academy one can successfully become an imperial viscount?"

The youngster's father somewhat uncertainly said "This is what Spirit Hall's people said, should not be a mistake. But this academy truly is a bit worn down."

The youngster said."Dad, I mustn't study here, it's too shameful. I still could go to Suotuo intermediate spirit master academy, right. At junior academy I was also considered a rare talent I'm sure they will take me."

The youngster's father frowned, "Since we've already come, let's wait a minute, right, maybe this is a kind of test. The genuine academy not here at all."

Similar dialogue was absolutely not rare in the lined up crowd, the majority of the faces of the youngsters and parents displayed a strong disappointment.

I just shrugged not really caring I'm just here for fun. plus I'll get to beat up some people later on. an evil chuckle slipped out making people slowly back away from me.
