The stranger in front of her was wearing a white collared shirt and baby blue pants contrary to the dark colors most men wore. Although this color could be seen as more 'feminine' he pulled it off well, complimenting his light complexion.

He had a more baby-faced look with a charming smile that would probably kill half the girls in the office.

But Yoona wasn't focused on his looks. Just his eyes. They were mesmerising. She had never seen anything quite like them.

"They really look like gold in certain angles," she continued. "You probably hear this compliment a lot right?"

A chuckle escaped his lips. "I do actually, but it sounds special coming from your mouth."

Yoona's eyes widened. This guy was the director of MH foods? First off, he looked a lot more youthful and flirtatious than she expected! Due to his high position in the company amidst the old men that filled the higher ranks, he was supposed to be quite the business genius as well…

But then again, Eunha did mention that this man was known for his looks and was called 'Prince'. From his looks, she could clearly see why. He was very much the Korean definition of a 'flower' boy.

"Oh, h.e.l.lo sir," she said politely. Now that changed a lot of things. He was the person who she was performing in front of soon. He must've done some research on her beforehand and seen her pictures. It was not suspicious anymore. In fact, she was glad that he recognized her.

He nodded knowingly. "Oh so now your att.i.tude changes. Didn't think you'd be the type to submit under power."

"Oh no!" She replied. "You're misunderstanding. I'm okay with you now because the reason to why you recognized me is a lot more clear."

"What do you mean?"

"Since you are seeing my presentation in less than an hour, you must've done some research or seen what I looked like."

He widened his eyes and pointed to himself. "You think I did that?"

She furrowed her eyebrows. "Uh… Didn't you?"

A chuckle escaped his lips. "Ah newbie. You have a lot to learn but no. There are two reasons to why I recognized you. First, I know basically everyone in this side of the building since they all work for the food department. I am quite active with my teams and like getting to know all the workers. Since I didn't recognize your face, it's clear that you are a guest or a new worker. Seeing how you were familiar with the area, my guess was that you worked here. Correct?"

She nodded slowly. That made sense. "Yeah, I get that."

But still, he couldn't have known she was Yoona. She wasn't the only new worker in this sector… Or was she?

"Also, the other workers was talking about the beautiful new employee. Seeing how you are the most beautiful woman here, that was what gave it away. You must've been the Yoona everyone is talking about," he said with a wink.

No matter how hard she tried to keep her face straight, the distaste couldn't help but pa.s.s through. So this was the Kihyun that Eunha was praising? He was so cheesy.

Seeing her negative reaction, Kihyun shook his head playfully. "Don't worry, I'm not actually hitting on you. This is my personality. Don't take it personally alright?"

So he knew. Well, since he did say it was just as a joke, she wasn't as creeped out anymore. But it did still make her uncomfortable.

"But I'm guessing you still are uncomfortable. Lessen the flirting, more conversation. Noted," Kihyun said with a salute. "I'm flexible."

He… Was not bad. She could see the genuity in his eyes. When she thought back to before, she realized that the playfulness in his eyes showed that he was just joking around. Due to the fact that she had encountered many rude men, she automatically lumped him into that category.

Kihyun was someone who spent time with his employees even in his high status and someone who stood up for others as well. He was humble in nature. Not only that, but this playful nature of his was what made people open up to him. He was friends with many of the regular workers in the company from what she had heard. And this had been going on for years upon years, even before he was promoted to a high position.

Plus, the most important part was that even Lucas approved of him and that blonde boy hated about 99.9% of all the people on this planet.

"Good," he said with a smile. "And it's alright. People have their boundaries. I get it. Mine is when people are rude and take everything too seriously, yours is too much flirting."

The corners of her lips lifted up into a smile. "Noted. Next time, I won't be too serious."

And with that, Yoona felt that the weight on her shoulders lessened. After meeting Kihyun, she wasn't as nervous about the presentation as before. But of course - who knew how different his professional side was compared to his personality.
