She was surprised to see that Eunha and Lucas were having lunch. Eunha also mentioned that there was a personal reason for it, and she wondered what happened while she was gone.
Perhaps… Lucas made a move? We're they right about their guesses to why he was acting weird around Eunha?
But then again, if that was the case, than Eunha's message wouldn't have been this calm. She would be freaking out and mentioning it on the get-go. This was different.
What happened?
Minhyun glanced over at her phone, curious to what Yoona was reading. "What is it?"
She looked up and shook her head. "It's nothing too big. Lucas and Eunha are just having lunch with each other."
"He made his move I'm a.s.suming?" Minhyun replied.
Yoona stayed silent for a moment. "Well, we don't know if he likes her for sure yet, so no. I think it's about something else."

"Well," Minhyun began. He ran his fingers through his black hair. "Let's just hope that everything is going fine between them."
"Yeah," Yoona whispered. "I hope so…"
But as she imagined Eunha and Lucas eating alone she suddenly got nervous. She just hoped that they wouldn't fight too much in that restaurant. But knowing the two, they might even get kicked out for being too loud.
She just prayed that everything was going to be fine.
---
Lucas and Eunha reached the restaurant in no time. The destination was very close to their workplace.
All the tables were full except for just one, which perfectly had two seats. They were so lucky.
Once they sat down, they browsed through the menu to see what they wanted to eat.
The two decided to opt for the most popular dishes at the restaurant.
Since this was a up-and-coming restaurant, Lucas was very interested to see how the food would taste like and to perhaps, have an insight as to why the restaurant was so popular.
Nowadays, he was always in a business mindset.
After all, this restaurant was going to be his life's masterpiece.
Lucas waved his hand to call over the waiter to take their order.
"I'll have the bulgogi rice and she'll have the spicy pork set please," he said.
The waiter's eyes brightened. "Luckily for the both of you, we have a couple's promotion going on right now! If you take a picture with the meal while making an heart, we will give you forty percent off."
Lucas nodded slowly. Good marketing tactics. They were trying to reel in couples to make this a good date location. It was smart.
"Okay. We will take the picture," he said.
Eunha widened her eyes upon hearing his words. The Lucas she had worked with and new would never do something like this. He would be too stubborn to do something like this, especially with her.
"R-really?" She said with a gulp.
Lucas raised an eyebrow. "Forty percent off? Doesn't that sound good?"
"Yeah but…"
She stopped herself from speaking due to the look Lucas was giving her. He was saying to go with the flow, especially with the waiter in front of them.
She paused, before nodding. "We will take the photo."
In the end, they were going to get a discount on the food. She shouldn't be the one going against it.
It was just that, in these situations, she would be the one begging him to agree. Everything was abnormal.
Once the waiter left, Eunha leaned in to whisper. "I thought you'd be totally against it."
Lucas took a sip of his water before shrugging. "This is their attempt to reel in more customers and I want to experience it. Think of it from a business perspective."
Eunha nodded slowly. It all made sense.
A giddy smile filled her face. "Well, that's good! I'm always down for discounts!!"
"I know," he replied.
And once the conversation ended, awkwardness filled the atmosphere. Until this moment, Eunha didn't realize how uncomfortable they were with each other.
Most of the time, because they had work on their plates, they always had a project to talk about. If they weren't, then they were arguing. However, right now, they weren't at work and were actually eating together... with only the two of them!.
So what the h.e.l.l could they talk about?
Eunha tapped her finger against her gla.s.s.
Unlike Lucas who was okay with the silence, she didn't like it at all. For her, she always needed something in the conversation or else her whole body felt awkward.
"So," she began. "How have you been lately?"
He looked at her strangely. "I've been just working on the restaurant?"
"Oh yeah," Eunha said with an awkward chuckle. "Right…"
What a stupid question. She saw him everyday. Of course she'd know what he was up to. She should've thought this through.
While Eunha was badgering herself, Lucas stared at her. There was a strange feeling of warmth in his heart. What was it? It was as if he found it kind of cute that she had failed an attempt to start up a conversation.
He cleared his throat. "But yeah, work is always my priority you know that."
"That's true," she said.
"On an important note, is your hangover a lot better now?" He asked.
Eunha took a sip of her water. "I mean, it's still lingering but as you can tell from me working before, it's a lot better now."
"Good," he said. There was a pause as he took a moment to think. His tone quickly turned angry. "From now on, make sure to control your drinking I swear to G.o.d. It's too dangerous for you to drink that much. Plus it's f.u.c.king annoying."
She gulped. "Sorry."
He ran his fingers through his head. "You know your limits. You are an adult now. Take responsibility."
A sigh escaped her lips. "I know… I just get out of hand."
He raised an eyebrow. "You just get out of hand? Please, you become a f.u.c.king mess."
"Isn't that a bit harsh?" She said, her tone slightly getting higher. But then, once she realized that it was technically her fault again, she quickly returned back to normal. "Yeah, I'm sorry. It's my fault. I'll try not to bother you with my drinking."
She was really apologizing a lot today.
He let out a frustrated sigh. "It's not about you bothering me. It's about your f.u.c.king wellbeing you dumba.s.s."
"Huh?"
"If it was any other guy, they would take advantage of your drunken state."
Eunha bit her lip. The reason to why she was able to drink without care that night was because she knew at the bottom of her heart that Lucas would be able to take care of her. But he was right.
"Okay… I understand."
He nodded. "Good."
