He was resting in his uncle's house when Dubanov arrived.

"Al, my men are ready. We got weapons from the Magic Hall." Dubanov said and gestured for the men outside to enter.

Ten men entered. They bowed down and said, "Boss!"

Alfred knew most of them. They are fishermen and farmers from the commoner's village. These men usually join the underground brawl compet.i.tion too.

Alfred looked at Dubanov and chuckled.

"Hahaha! Al, do you remember these three?" Dubanov laughed and gestured to the three men to move forward.

"They always followed us before." Alfred said and smiled.

"Yes, before we went to the military academy." Dubanov nodded and happily said.

"Boss!" The three bowed down with excitement.

"Nice to see you again. Welcome to the Silver Sparrow Family." Alfred said to them.

He thought for a bit and looked at the ten men seriously.

"Boss, don't worry. We heard and we wanted to help." A middle-aged man with a huge built similar to Dubanov said.

He was the previous champion of the underground brawl compet.i.tion.

He continued, "Well... what we will get in return is great too."

"You are right." Alfred said.

"Our great boss wanted to remove the dirts of the southern district. You guys will be part of our strength." Dubanov said.

"Boss, what's the plan?" One of the men asked.

"We will let them fight each other before we enter the stage. Cris is working on it already." Alfred answered.

Alfred told them the plan that he and Cris discussed even before Naga gave the command. Using huge amount of money, people under Cris talked to different gangs and offered financial support to defeat each rival gangs.

Cris went to one of the biggest gangs in the southern district. It is a gang affiliated to a n.o.ble from the capital. He offered them some secret information that will help the n.o.ble in gaining morw fame. The n.o.ble agreed to have a partnership with Cris.

After the meeting, Alfred talked to Benno which is now the captain of the guards.

"I need your help, Mister Benno." Alfred said.

"Of course, what is it?" Benno asked.

"Your authority as the captain of the guards is not just limited here in the village, right? You are actually a captain for the whole southern district."

"Yes, that's right. I met the other captain and guards yesterday as well. Most of them are corrupt!" Benno said angrily.

He continued, "I heard that the boss gave the command already. What help do you need?"

Alfred gave him a big pouch full of gold coins and said, "We need to bribe them. There will be gang wars in the south. We need the other captain and guards cooperation."

He told Benno the plan and how the guards will help them. It was a plan needed to dominate the whole southern district.

"I see. This is good enough." Benno checked the pouch and nodded.

"Be careful." Alfred said before leaving the guard post.

In the southern district, all gangs are antic.i.p.ating a huge war that will decide who will be the new ruler.

"Hahaha! We got a backer! Now, we can destroy those dogs of the n.o.bles."

"Hmph! Just because a n.o.ble is backing them. Let's start buying new weapons."

There are a lot of secret meetings happening now in the south. The recent days are peaceful for everyone. Even the guards are not messing around.

Only the veterans and experienced villagers can feel that something huge will happen.

"Preparations are done, Boss! Tonight, we will attack the Red Snake Gang!"

"We will destroy them tonight! Haha!"

A gang is in good mood when they suddenly heard a bad news.

"Boss! The Red Snake Gang is here! We are under attack!" A gangster shouted at them.

"What?" The leader of the gang and his men stood up. They drew their weapons and went outside.

The leader was shocked when he saw that running gangster was suddenly hit by a spear.

'Argh!' The gangster fell down and said, "Bo... boss help..."

"Ah!" The gangster was not able to finish what he wanted to say because he was pierced by a sword.

A man wearing a long crimson robe with a snake design suddenly appeared.

"How are you?" The man looked at the shocked leader from the rival gang and asked smiling.

"Red Snake!" The leader yelled and used a strong force to jump and attack.

"Attack!" His men followed him and attack.

There are multiple fights happening now in the south. The ordinary residents became afraid and closed their doors.

"Aaaahh! You will pay for this!"

'Clank!'

'Swish!'

Multiple fights are happening everywhere.

"Sir! Are we not going to move yet?" A guard asked.

Multiple reports are being sent to the southern district guard's office as well.

"Don't. Not yet the time." The captain of the guards said with a sinister smile.

"This is just the first day. We will move once the big names showed up. Just continue watching over the citizens." The vice captain told the worried guard.

"I understand, Sir." He saluted and hastily left.

Meanwhile, Cris is in huge mansion and talking to a gang leader. They are inside a huge room that has a good view of the southern district. They are watching the ruckus.

"Mister Cris, are the information you provided about the House of Lightspear..." The leader wanted to ask but Cris interrupted him.

"It's true. For instance, the engagement was cancelled by the Duke of Pround Sky." Cris said.

"The Lightspear will not let it slide." The leader looked at the window and said.

"The Profound Sky is prepared. Also your boss, a n.o.ble from the capital, supported the Marquis, right? Your n.o.ble boss unknowingly angered the old duke of the House of Lightspear so the Marquis is leaning towards abandoning him." Cris said and chuckled.

"Hmmm." The leader doesn't know what to say

"If our plan is successful, the old duke will be busy with other matters since if not, his House will decline in this generation for sure." Cris looked at the leader and said.

He stood up and tapped the shoulder of the gang leader, "Support us and not just your boss but also you will benefit from this."

"I understand." The leader answered and looked at the window again. 'Sigh.'

Cris chuckled and looked at the window too.

This gang leader's boss is a viscount. The viscount's son, Ludwig, got into accident with the duke's successor, Androse, four years ago.

The duke's successor, Androse, was bullying and harra.s.sing new military recruits when he was stopped by Ludwig. Androse punched Ludwig and a huge commotion happened. It was reported to the Supreme Commander and Androse was reprimanded. The duke did not take this lightly.

After that, many people stopped supporting the viscount. They lost some of their businesses too. It was a pety reason but the House Of Lightspear is known for their overbearing demeanor.

This is the reason why the gang under the viscount was moved here. They are trying to get the favor of the House of Lightspear. He thought that if he will help in oppressing the Profound Sky, the duke will be satisfied.

Three days have pa.s.sed before the two biggest gangs decided to enter the gang war.

'Bang!' 'Crack!'

"This is hurting our business! Affiliated gangs are being destroyed too!" A man with crimson hair punched his table and yelled.

"Right! We need to do something!"

"Letvs use this opportunity to destroy the other gangs too! Let's rule the whole south!"

His officials are all ready to fight. An old man wearing a golden robe is looking at them.

"Those insignificant gangs are tempted by wealth and fame. It was too late to back down when they noticed it. No turning back from the war." The old man said and sighed.

In a small gang teritory, five men are discussing the current event.

"It is good that we did not join the war."

"n.o.body offered us a.s.sistance anyway."

"Hey, what are you thinking there?"

"Someone planned this. Someone is cleaning the south."

The five men looked at each other and discussed what they need to survive. They noticed how the guards are indifferent this time. The guards are helping the residents and every night a big group of guards are patrolling and checking the damages. Not just the five of them but the residents felt weird about it too.
