Gangland Fantasy 59 Not Just Crows

"My lord left earlier but I do not know where he went." Bill lightly shook his head and answered smiling.

Old Samuel gave him papers and said, "I see. For now, check the reports."

Bill did not respond. He looked at the reports from Cris and and their spies. He learned that the Seven Sword Master is coming and there will be a war.

"One of the dukes is backing them up. I heard that aside from their warriors, knights are coming too." Old Samuel said and smiled.

"My lord gave them a warning but they did not listen." Bill said and stood up.

He used fire arcane on his hands and burned the papers. 'Crisp.'

"Old Samuel, summon the knights trained by Oscar and also the ranger squad of Albert." Bill said with a serious tone.

"Okay. Our guest, Eryn, is now a member of our House. Would you like her to go?" Old Samuel asked smiling.

"Better." Bill nodded and said.

Old Samuel bowed and left the room. He asked their spies to send the order to the kights and ranger squad. After that, he looked for Eryn so she can prepare.

"I understand. I will not let them bother my Lord. Destroying the enemy now is the right choice." Eryn responded.

Near the Bluemist Mountain, the warriors of the Seven Sword and the knights under the duke's command are resting.

"We are already near the Profound Sky City." The leader of the knights said.

"That House of Iron Crow. We will destroy them." The leader of the Seven Sword Society Said.

"They said that they are powerful and tyrannical." One of the knights said.

"Hmph. They are nothing compared to us!" An official of the Seven Sword said.

He continued, "Fifty knights and more than three hundred warriors from our Seven Sword Society. Also, our branch inside the city is preparing too so what can that lowly House do?"

The two leaders looked at each other and smiled. Both of them are confident that they will end the House Of Iron Crow. The leader of the Seven Sword is planning to take over their businesses too.

"What if the City Lord's Mansion help them out?" A knight asked curiously. Fighting the city's authority will be difficult.

"Don't worry. We got a writ from the Duke's office." The leader of the knight said and showed a scroll containing the written order. Although, he is not sure why the duke is opposing the House of Iron Crow specially that they are helping the city and not a threat.

"The duke investigated them and found out that they are fake n.o.bles." One of the knights said smiling.

'What?!' The swordsmen from the Seven Sword were shocked. Now, they are certain that victory is already theirs to take. They will be heroes too after this fight.

"Haha! Those b.a.s.t.a.r.ds! They are done for!" The swordsmen laughed.

"The name of their House fits them. They are not n.o.bles. They don't deserve their wealth and fame. Those fakes are just crows." The leader of the Seven Sword commented.

The knights and the swordsmen were about to laughed when they heard someone...

"We are not just crows. We are Iron Crows." A loud and powerful voice was heard.

"Who's there?!" The leader of the knights shouted.

They looked at the sky and saw someone standing mid air. It was a young man with golden eyes and overbearing presence.

"The young lord of the House of Iron Crow!"

"Lord Willard!" The swordsmen were shocked.

The swordsmen and knights drew their weapons. They panicked after knowing who the man is. They heard that he is a powerful expert and rumored to have Ancient Prime's power.

"Don't panick! Prepare the formation! Even if he has the Ancient Pr..." The leader of the knights was interrupted by Bill.

"Also..." Bill said with a firm tone. He used arcane to his voice to make it powerful too.

He continued. "Some of us are dragons."

'What? Dragons?' The swordsmen and knights were confused.

The leader of the Seven Sword frowned. He had a bad feeling about it so he looked at the leader of the knights. He saw that the veteran knight is giving orders now to his knights. He used his mana to increase his awareness and was surprised when he noticed that something is approaching them with great speed. He wanted to look at it further but was surprised when he noticed that Bill started to attack.

"Dragon! A dragon is approaching! Be ready!" The leader of the knights gave order to his group.

"AAAAHHHH!!!" The swordsmen started to shout due to great pain.

"What?!" The leader of the knights was shocked with what he saw. He focused too much watching the dragon and forgot about Bill.

A rain of golden lights. Those golden lights are spikes created from Ancient Prime. He used his force mana and increased his defense along with his speed. He dodged and blocked the spears to survived.

"Formation! Knights, go to your position!" He shouted.

"Yes, Sir!" The knights used their force mana and started operating their defense formation.

'Roar!!!' 'Bam!!!' While the knights were busy with their formation, they did not notice that the dragon arrived and started attacking them. The dragon fired a powerful light beam from its mouth and some of the knights and swordsmen were killed. When the dragon landed, it used its tail to attack aside from firing powerful dragon's breath.

"AAAAHHHH!!!" A lot of cries were heard again.

After the remaining knights completed their formation and their defense increased, the leader decided to counter attacked but he was surprised when he saw that the officials of the Seven Sword along with its leader are escaping. He can't believed that they were abandoned and left alone to face the dragon and Lord Willard.

'Useless cowards!' He thought. He looked at Bill who is standing firmly mid air. Now, he is contemplating if the duke's decision in opposing this young man is right. The question about this young man being a true n.o.ble or not is irrelevant anymore. He should have believed to all the reports he got. He never thought that aside from Ancient Prime, they also have a dragon.

Bill stopped his a.s.sault and just watched the escaping swordsmen. He told Eryn to stop as well and let them be.

"Would you like to know which is stronger? Is it our combined attack or your defensive formation?" Bill asked and looked at the leader of the knight.

The knights panicked and shivered. They don't believe that they can survive if those two will attack. Now, all of them are praying for their survival.

"Young sir, it is us who's at fault." The leader of the knights said. He dispersed his mana and gestured to his knights to do the same.

After all the knights dispersed their mana, he deeply bowed and continued: "I am not in the position to ask but I hope that you will show mercy and let my knights go. I will stay to receive the punishment."

"Sir! Please don't. Young lord, please forgive him. Let our leader leave and we will stay for the punishment." One of the knights said.

He bowed and kneeled. When the other knights saw this, they all followed through.

"You!" The leader of the knights were surprised. He was thankful to have these followers.

Eryn transformed into her human form and looked at Bill. This young man is his master's most trusted aide and she will follow whatever decision he will make.

Bill looked at them and thought for a bit. He turned around and said, "Leave. Let this serve as a warning."

He and Eryn flew away in great speed after that. The knights were surprised and thankful. They felt great contempt for the Seven Sword Society. They looked at their leader saw that he used his mana to burned the writ.

"Let's go. Let's report this to the duke and tell him that he should stop opposing the House." The leader said.

"Wh... what if the duke declined?" One of the kinghts said.

"Hahaha! Then, we will leave. I will talk to the Old Orc from the House of Iron Crow and offer our service." The leader laughed and said. He also looked at his knights with a warm smile.

"That is right. They are not just crows. We should follow them instead."

"That young lord is a good man too."

"The reports said that they are not true n.o.bles? Heck! That young man can be a king if he wanted to!"

The knights exclaimed and commented. They already decided what to do next.

Meanwhile in the city, the knights of the House of Iron Crow and the ranger squad started to attack the branch office of the Seven Sword. Due to their weapons and armors they have enormous advantage. The streets are empty since Old Samuel gave the warning to the whole city. The local gangs and powerful families decided not to interfere. When they saw Bill flying in great speed towards the city boarder, they knew that something big will happen.
