The Copy Cat 16 Pheonix - The Perfect Partner

As Robin collapsed the moment he used all his mana, something inside the diced up Troll Emperor started moving. It was shaking until it broke free from all the sliced flesh, it was the Troll Emperor's heart. Slowly but surely, the troll emperor began to regenerate and the fainted Robin has nothing to stop it.

The heart started to glow a yellow-ish light and the sliced flesh began to float and move. All the sliced flesh began to sorround the core until one of his eyes started to show and the anger was seen through the Troll Emperor's red-shot eyes.

Time pa.s.sed and Robin woke up as his mana slowly rose up. He stared at the broken ceiling as he tried to stand up but was unable to. He felt as if something heavy was on his stomach so he took a peek only to see a fire on his stomach. He panicked as he tried to take off the fire and jumped.

"What the..." Robin's eyes suprised him when the fire began to fly and the shout was heard again, "Kwahh!" It began to fly around the ceiling until Robin took a closer look. It began to form that of a bird's body and Robin was finally able to see what the blazing fire was.

"You're a... Phoenix." Robin muttered as the Phoenix looked at Robin. Robin took one step backward as Robin took guard and the Phoenix suddenly dive straight unto Robin, "Ah... I can't move." Because of the fatigue with the Troll Emperor, he has no other choice but to block it with his bare hands and closed his eyes.

After a while of covering his body, he realized there was no pain going through his body. Robin finally took a peek only to see the bird circling him, "What are you?" Robin muttered as the Phoenix shouted, "Kwaaah!"

Robin wasn't sure but he felt as if the Phoenix was one with him and raised his arms for the Phoenix to land on, "Arggg." Robin covered his eyes and held of the pain, thinking that the moment the Phoenix lands would hurt thanks to the fire but it didn't. The Phoenix landed safely and the sharp claws didn't hurt as with the fire.

The blazing orange fire flows through the Phoenix as he saw the brilliance in the bird's eye, "Are you... not afraid of me?" Robin asked. The Phoenix just shouted happily as it lays his head over Robin's head and that was the moment a feeling of synchronization appeared.

Robin was shocked as he remembered the Egyptian-like paintings, "You're the bird from the paintings." Robin said to the bird and he looked at the egg that was in the end of the room. It was cracked, meaning that the Phoenix likely came from there, "But why did you crack open?" Robin asked as the Phoenix took a straigh-faced look.

"Was it because of me?" Robin asked and the Phoenix hugged his head unto Robin's. Robin was feeling no pain on the fire at all and tried to touch the Phoenix's head. He patted the bird's head and the Phoenix happily chirped cutely.

While patting the Phoenix, Robin realized the sorroundings was empty except for rocks and dust, "Where's the corpse?" Robin muttered as sweat came out when he looked at the Pheonix with a small flesh at the side of his peck, "You ate them?" Robin asked the phoenix and she chirped with a little burp.

Out of curiousity, Robin used ["Appraisal"] and what he saw was the unthinkable.

The Pheonix heard Robin as he flow to the groud and went straight up as he closed his wings, circling up. The Phoenix's eye's began to glow that of the Troll Emperor's Aura as he opened his wings.

An Aura of Intimidation caught Robin's attentions as his body felt chills of bones grabbing him, crushing him with pressure, "S-stop it." Robin kneeled as he can't take a breath. The Phoenix got worried and flew to Robin, "I'm alright." Robin said to the Phoenix as he panted, catching for breath.
