Vengeful Hero 3 Instincts

"Who the fu..." Instantly a loud voice is heard. It was a man's voice full of irritation as if he was already angry and now something happened to further increase it.

"I am extremely sorry" Alex apologized immediately.

"Who are you?" asked the man in irritation.

"I am a new employee here" Alex replied calmly neither showing arrogance nor weakness.

"Which department are you in?" Asked the man.

"Not in any particular department, I am on training period" Alex replied.

"Do you know who I am? I am Daniel Miller the head of the PR department of the company" replied Daniel with anger while looking at the calm expression on Alex's face.

"So?" Alex replied with an expression as calm as the still sea.

Seeing such calmness on Alex's face even after his introduction Daniel was fl.u.s.tered.

"Y..Y..You don't know what's good for you, the vice president of the company Gary Miller is my uncle. You are nothing in front of me if I want I can kick you out of the company and blacklist you so that no one hires you" Daniel replied in rage.

"So?" without any change in expression asked Alex.

Being humiliated to such a degree in front of so many people Daniel could not hold back and slapped across Alex's face.

The surrounding turned silent, no one spoke a word. Most of the ladies were looking at Alex with a look of worry and pity on their faces, on the other hand all the guys were feeling happy on someone else's misfortune.

Daniel has been in the company for 5 years, and since his uncle is the vice president of the company he has always acted like a tyrant and no one talked back to him. He always had this feeling of superiority inside him but today looking at the newcomer who had such a calm expression facing him he can't help but loose his calm feeling enraged.

All the time Alex had a calm expression but suddenly after being threatened and slapped out of

nowhere a sudden feeling emerged in Alex's heart, a desire to torture, kill someone and see blood. After waking from coma Alex experienced everything joy, sorrow, etc. but no one had threatened him or physically a.s.saulted him but today he experienced both, Daniel threatened him and slapped him now slowly this desire was increasing within his heart and was hard to control.

Alex tried to calm himself, he is shaking constantly and his back was drenched in sweat. He was no longer paying attention to what Daniel was saying. There are flashes running in his mind one after the other, they are not very clear but the feeling of bloodthirst and rage is increasing in his heart. Due to these sudden flashes in his mind the pain in his head is increasing exponentially as if ready to burst open his head.

Daniel did not pay attention to Alex's condition but seeing that Alex is still not paying attention to him he didn't hold back threw a punch at Alex. All the people watching the commotion couldn't help but feel shocked, Daniel has been in many arguments throughout these 5 years but never had been there any physical exchange but now after slapping the new guy once out of nowhere and seeing him trying to knock the new guy, it was out of there expectation. All the people can see that there is something wrong with Alex but can only pity his fate, no one who went against Daniel had a good end.

"Aaaaahhh!!" scream echoed in the corridor, but everyone had a look of disbelief on their faces Daniel was wriggling on the floor with blood sprouting from his wrist of the hand with which he tried to struck Alex.

Alex was looking at Daniel with dead eyes, there was no spirit in his eyes as if devoid of life and there was a pen in his hand and blood was dripping from it.

Thud!!

All of a sudden Alex dropped unconscious on the floor as if dead, panic can be seen in the eyes of all the workers watching the commotion, the sudden change in the scenario was too fast for their minds to process.

"What is this commotion all about?" a voice broke the silence. All the 5 men from the interview room were present and looking at the surrounding with confused looks on their faces. The one who asked the question was the uncle of Daniel, Gary Miller (VP of the company).

"Sir the thing is.." one of the employee briefed the matter without leaving a single detail.

The other 4 men looked at the vice president with horrified eyes, normal employees may not know but they perfectly know that this man was the one who bought that letter. If it was anyone else then they may side the VP's nephew due to his uncle being VP, but today they had a look of pity for the VP.

The VP himself was worried to death after listening the whole matter and was cursing his nephew, but nothing can be done now he pledged if he is able to live through this matter he will whip his nephew to death. After asking the employees to take both of them immediately to the infirmary, the VP along with other four went to his office to think of ideas to appease Alex's anger.

After 1 hour

"Ummmhhh…." Alex slowly opened his eyes but due to the pain in his head he could not help but let out a moan.

"So you are awake, that's good" A melodious sound rang in Alex's head, Alex turned his head to look towards the source of the voice. There was a lady in her early thirties wearing a doctor's coat going through some reports, sunlight through the window was falling on her giving a scenic beauty.

"Beautiful" Alex could not help exclaim in admiration.

"Uhhh" the doctor was taken aback by such words and looked at Alex with mixed expressions of surprise, blush, happy etc.

"Ahh.. Sorry it was rude of me, but I can't help it you were looking beautiful" Alex replied awkwardly.

"Well thank you, btw I am Jessica the company's doctor". Jessica replied with a smile. Being complimented always feels good especially for the ladies but when the one complimenting is as good looking as Alex it gave a special sense of satisfaction to her.

"I am Alex, I joined today".

"Well someone is too eager to start a commotion in the company" Jessica said playfully.

"Me? But what did I do and why am I in the infirmary?" asked Alex with a confused look on his face.

"What do you mean why you are here? Don't you know after slashing Daniel's wrist you collapsed?" Jessica asked.

"I slashed Daniel's wrist?" Alex asked with surprise.

"Yes"

"Are you sure?" Alex asked again.

"Well all the employees who were there are saying this"

"Then why don't I remember it?"

"You don't remember it?"

"No"

"What is the last thing you remember?" Jessica asked with a concern.

"Umm… the last thing I remember is Daniel slapping me, after that everything went black and there were some scenes running in my mind but they were not clear enough for me to distinguish but because of them I felt like my head was going to explode also a feeling rose in my heart to kill someone" Alex replied the experience he had.

"Have you suffered a memory loss?" Jessica asked.

"Yes, I had an accident about a year ago and then I was rescued by my adoptive parents. I don't remember a thing before waking up from the coma" Alex replied.

"I see, and what happened today must be due to the instincts you developed through your life by going through continuous struggle to live, you must have a painful past" Jessica concluded with worried look and pity in her eyes.

"Instincts" Alex pondered.
