XP 220 Binge Watching

Binge watching is the way to go if you want to watch any series. There are series that are literally impossible to keep up with if you didn't binge watch them like for example one piece, naruto, and bleach. In the case of one piece that has been running for almost exactly 20 years, you will not be able to remember 95% of the plot if you always watched the newest episodes as soon as they came out. Minor spoiler but the later episodes have much longer openings than the standard 90 sec anime openings to the point that just the short recap and opening can take up to 6 minutes. This naturally makes normal viewing even more painful as there will be less content.

Those extremely long series naturally have quite a bit of rewatchability but it is definitely painful to watch those older episodes.

The natural downside of binge watching is that if it's a short series with only 12 episodes, you won't be able to enjoy it for more than a day instead of 3 months you would have if you watched each episode as soon as it was released.
