"Where were you last night?" Elder asked. Anna understood what might have happened.
"I was in Hotel Grand. Why?"
Elder Yu: "Staying out all night without informing, you're still the same unfilial and ill-mannered." He gritted his teeth.
"After having the medication you sent through Yu Feng I fell extremely sick and Yu Yuri booked a room for me. while I was resting I don't know a guy entered my room, he was drunk...so I had to change my room.., wait, Why am I even explaining when you already chose to believe others." Anna spoke with sharp voice. She is fed up with the Elder being ignorant and trusting those fox.
Elder Yu felt guilty, indeed he believed Yu Feng Words, Yu Yuri and Yu Feng both lied to him and when did he send Yu Han's medication through Yu Feng. Something is fishy. He is committing the same mistake again and again, and never got the time to redeem his mistake.

Three years ago
The ambulance siren faded away into the main road, the huge orange and red fire lit the dark night. Fire fighters were screaming at their men to quicken up their action.
Yu Kong walked over to his daughter and slapped her.
"How many more life's do you plan on killing. You're nothing but a curse to me." He was like a wounded animal, anger flaring out from him. Yu Han couldn't look in his eyes, she was aware of his anger and she wouldn't do anything to further flame his anger.
Not getting a response Yu Kong walked away to control the situation as the Media are causing a havoc in front of the building.
Elder stood in seething anger.
"Yu Han because of your imprudent behavior two people died how are you going to compensate."
"Trust me I don't know anything. I told Rang Chen to change the loose circuit you can ask him." Yu Han swallowed the blood in her mouth.
"Miss Yu. Please don't throw all blame on me, i have a family. It was you who signed and pa.s.sed the adulterated raw materials and I told you several times about loose circuit in the main generator but you ignored it, and threatened me not to open my mouth. Only if I had told CEO Yu Chong about you those two wouldn't have died..." Rang Chen looked pitiful as he fell on his knees weeping.
"Rang Chen! you dare to lie in front of me. All this time I believed you but little did I know you're two faced snake more cunning than a fox." Yu Han held Rang Chen collar in rage and slapped him.
"Yu Han! Stop your nonsense, you dare to slap him in front of me. We Yu's are very righteous, as a Yu you should admit your mistake and apologize to everyone but all you're doing is put blame on others. I'm ashamed to call you my granddaughter."
Yu Han understood it's all pre-planned they are making me scapegoat and their is no single evidence to prove myself, dad and grandpa would never trust me. Yu Han loathed herself for not having anyone to trust her. She hated of being alone.
"You know what, even I'm ashamed to call you my grandfather, you chose to believe some third person over your own blood. Deep down in your heart you know I would never do this but you still chose to believe them." With a defeated smile she drove away.
Later Elder Yu came to know someone had forged Yu Han's sign and pa.s.sed the adulterated raw materials. He wanted to apologise but he couldn't as Yu Han stopped talking to him.

Late at night Anna is walking back into the mansion after having a good walk in the garden.
As she was pa.s.sing through the hallway she heard a gla.s.s breaking, the sound came from Yu Kong's room. Anna debated whether to check on him or not.
Opening the slightly ajar door Anna entered the dark room. The only source of light is moonlight from the balcony. Anna spotted a figure on floor near the bed. Slowly walking towards it she saw Yu Kong in drunk state half conscious holding a portrait close to his heart.
"Dad" Anna whispered placing her hand on his shoulder.
Yu Kong looked at the girl whom he had stopped caring and had abandoned her. Whenever he saw her guilt and rage would consume him whole. Why does his daughter has to look just like her mother?
"What are you doing here?" He asked after staring at her for a long time.
"Uh..I heard gla.s.s breaking, are you alright? are you hurt?" Anna asked as she examined him in the dim light.
Anna was angry with Yu Kong for treating his daughter like a murderer, Anna wanted to teach him a lesson but he is still her father and maybe even Yu Han wouldn't have want that.
Looking at her concern towards him, Yu Kong heart warmed but guilt ate him alive.
"Don't you hate me?" He asked out of blue.
Anna isn't sure how to answer
"Honestly I hated you, I hated you when you abandoned me, blamed me and never cared about me... but I couldn't hate you wholely, I understood what you where going through. I was hurt because you didn't realize even I lost her just like you, I didn't know what was my mistake why mom was not waking up, why she was not speaking to me, why she couldn't sing me anymore, why she couldn't feed me, I didn't understand anything. I didn't know why was I crying or why I was feeling lonely and empty. No one knew I was having nightmares every day and no one was next to comfort me, I couldn't get my mom's love and you didn't wanted to give love.." Tears continued to fall from her cheek to her lap. All the suppressed feeling for almost seventeen years burst out.
Anna felt her body enveloped into warm body. Unconsciously she hugged him back and snuggled closer to him. Anna wasn't sure if Yu Kong could remember any of these next morning.
"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. All these years I was blinded in grievance. I avoided you because you like her. I couldn't forget the day lost her, the anger, helplessness and grieve turned me into cold b.a.s.t.a.r.d who ignored and blamed his daughter for her death. I'm unfit to be a father." Yu Kong cried pouring his heart out after many years.
He wouldn't have realized his mistake if he hadn't seen Yu Han in death bed. That day he understood what he had turned into and what cost him for that. He prayed every second till she woke up asking to give him one more chance. After she woke up he couldn't bring himself in front of her. He was ashamed and afraid his daughter would reject him just like he did.
