"Don't Worry!! That is very normal during pregnancy" said Gilgamesh.
Elune thought about it and decided to call the Chief Ogre inside what used to be his home for a talk about the future of the tribe.
The Ogre came to the door and immediately kneeled and said "Ugor, Level 38 Berserker pays respects to the Chief"
It was a very simple phrase but it indicated that she was now the new chief and that he had already accepted his position as an underling.
"I am not your Chief! I came here to slaughtered you all to avenge my family and now that the matter is settled we will be leaving soon"
"I will tell the tribe to pack immediately"
"NO! We are going, you are staying"
"I don't understand chief, Lord Fadall rules said that since we have been conquered, the Ogre tribe now belongs to you and we should follow you wherever you go"
Elune felt a headache coming and she was at a lost for words. On the other hand, Rahz was smiling at the situation and with a very uncharacteristic behavior, he stepped in and said "Your chief just gave you an order! Stay behind and lead the village in her place until she returns. You better don't slack off or there will be h.e.l.l to pay"
The Ogre understood Rahz's words perfectly and withdrew from the house before organizing all the tribe members that were left so that the tribe could continue to function. There was no resistance as Ugor was the strongest warrior in the village and they had managed to hear what Rahz said inside the house.
Despite the lost of many of their warriors, the tribe members that were left felt that a weight had been removed from their shoulders. Elune was taking with her the Relic and no relic meant that the people that were still alive had survived a tribulation pretty much with just a slap to the wrist. Louxx's followers were really dark and maybe if it was another chosen their souls would have been imprisoned and tortured for a long time.
The Ogre children were extremely curious about Remulos and Xiao and they lost their fear extremely quickly and some even muster the courage to ask for a ride which was denied in a very amable way.
The next few days were spent in relaxation by the whole team and when it was time to continue on their travels, they were able to score a good guide that took them out of the forest in less than 3 days. Elune had a very good memory but she was never allowed to wander too far away from her clan and so, she had never been through that section of the forest.
Outside the Swamp of Sorrow was another world completely, the Witch Doctor had done an excellent job and managed to leave them at the border of an open road that seem to never end but the faint silhouette of a mountain was vaguely visible in the distance.
It was not difficult for the team to determined the direction they wanted to go, as the Temple of the Rising Sun was place in the mountain that reached the heavens. The weather was truly wonderful, there was a little breeze that pa.s.sed from time to time that brought the cool temperature a couple of degrees down giving their skin a nice refreshing feeling that improved their mood.
The team started their journey and along the way there were many beast that looked at them with curiosity but oddly enough they showed not fear and just continued their activities without a care in the world.
Ridd.i.c.k was salivating none stop while looking at the innocent creatures that looked extremely delicious and from time to time the hordes of easy going creatures lost a few of their numbers.
Life was really great for the team but the distance to the tall mountain in the background didn't seem to decrease at all and very soon the months pa.s.sed while Elune's belly continued to increase in size and her cravings for weird food were insatiable.
"I want BBQ Kraken with peanut sauce and Arid CleftHoof, GIVE ME!!!"
Rahz was going crazy and was not sure if he could take too many more months of the deranged Wify and if he only knew that what awaited him was sleepless nights and waste cleaning the likes he never smell before, he would have thought twice about those wild nights of crazy s.e.x 9 months before.
"Well, I still got some kraken in the bag and peanut sauce can be made, the problem is the Arid Clefthoof"
The Clefthoof was a species similar to the bison, they were large enough to quake the ground, were armed with enormous horns, and their meat could feed a whole clan of orcs for a couple of days.
The regular Clefthoof usually had a wooly pelt but the Arid one was a variation from the deserted lands close to the lake where the Fifth Gate was located and there was no way for Rahz to get one. Elune never took no for an answer and Rahz had no other choice but to move around to look for 'it', there had been many instances in which he had been able to find similar creatures to the ones requested for the menu and Rahz was confident that he could maybe find something that suit her taste.
In the Realm of Elysian there was a 10 month period of baby growth before it was born into the world and and they were cutting it kind of close since according to their calculations they had walked for roughly 8.
The scenery had definitely changed since they embarked on the journey and it was a more mountainous region than the one outside the Swamp of Sorrow which had more flat land and small hills.
Rahz went to look for the Clefthoof beast around the base of the mountains or any creature that was similar to the beast he remembered the Arid Clefthoof to be.
Rahz went up a small mountain fairly quickly and while he stood at the peek he observed a small valley where Wooly Bison creatures were standing around just chillin.
"Thank G.o.d, It didn't take long...last time she changed her mind mid way through cooking"
Rahz descended into the valley at incredible speed and moved agily towards the herd.
Rahz's movement was very stealthy and didn't spook any of the Wooly Clefthoof in the valley but little did he know that there was a small Clefthoof that had spotted his presence even when he was at the top of the mountain.
The small Clefthoof was roughly half the size of the others in the area and he was difficult to spot as he was just enjoying the valley breeze and eating gra.s.s. The most distinctive features were the really big horns that were a really dark grey color, and its wooly mane that was whiter than snow and shone in a little bit of sacred light against the black pelt that cover the rest of its body.
The hoofs were not visible as he was in a resting position but as soon as he stood up, people would see little whirlwinds on each of his hoofs.
Rahz moved extremely quickly and pull out a knife, without thinking it twice, he attacked the Wooly Clefthoof closest to him with a swift stab towards the neck. Rahz's plan was to give the beast a swift death and then quickly stash the copse inside the Kinetic Cube and disappeared from the valley to satiate his wife's craving.
The knife stabbed towards the Clefthoof but before it reached within 2 feet from it, an Earth Wall sprung from the ground and bounced the blade back.
Rahz face felled and he knew that he had been spotted, "Not good Enough" said Rahz to himself and disappeared into the shadows with the purpose of appearing on the side of the beast but before he could moved inside the shadows, a Light so bright that it look holy illuminated the valley and cancelled his Skill and injured him in the process.
