At the entrance, a man lay bowed almost at a 90-degree angle, his face was small and sharp, and sweat profusely formed on both the forehead and behind the ears. He shouted as calmly as possible as if attempting to not bother anyone listening, but only to get their attention.

He wore thick clothes as the air had started to get chilly, mostly due to the ancient stone of the temple the seemed to suck the energy out of the atmosphere at night for illuminating itself.

"Chief... Chief Abel, I'm here to report you of some interesting news..."

"Oh? Tell me then, macheta" A gruff voice resonated through the surrounding bamboo nearby.

"It's about a dark-skinned red-haired little boy who was found at the main entrance of the village."

"We find the 'Grace' around all the time... Get to the interesting stuff," the deep gruff voice said hurryingly as if rares such as a 'grace' was commonwealth to him.

This mutation was usually found in the fairer part of the species, so it was quite a rarity on top of the odd mutation to find a dark-skinned kid with a shade of red in their hair.

Silence fell after those words exited the man's mouth, echoing through the bamboo, adding an eery tone to the sound.

Suddenly, the large metallic door started to slide open slowly, misty fog fuming through the ever-increasing gap.

Out through the fog, a shadow of a man holding a cane in his hand. After pa.s.sing through, his details were finally revealed.

The village-chief had the look of an old man, moonlight gave his dark grey hair an otherworldly glow, he had antennae-like skin protruding from under his chin. His deep black eyes looked filled with wisdom and contempt, shining a hue of orange momentarily.

"Take me to him" he spoke looking at the informant.

"Currently, he is being taken care of in the communal bath as his condition when he reached here was worse than a homeless'. All the women that saw him are now tending to him." he said with a hint of envy.

"Then we shall wait for them to be done outside, I can't even imagine the consequences of us walking into their communal bath." the old man shivered slightly.

The informant was a full head short compared to the chief, who was around 6 feet 5 inches tall. Currently, the slim tall man wore a thick Kimono with fur which made him look larger than he was. His footwear was nothing short of surprising as he had a smooth, flat pebble under his foot with some Soft black wool that was attached to the pebble which tied around his foot to not have the pebble escape from under his feet. The pebble compressed every time the chief's weight fell onto it. After it compressed, white light came pouring out, as well as some sort of thick air, making the ground covered in glowing white ethereal fog. It was truly an interesting pebble, non-existent on Nero's previous planet.

After pa.s.sing by large empty housing s.p.a.ces, the duo reached a spire-shaped building that lit up the night with a bright yellow light that came from the inside. All one could from the outside was bright yellow light, but from the inside, everything on the outside was visible.

The building itself was made of black ceramic-like material which would make the building look 2D due to the black color absorbing all the light, if not for the light that the panels let through from the inside. This building was only about 2 kilometers away from the elevated temple, that had started to shine brightly, with the absence of sunlight, even plants far away who received little of this light would start photosynthesizing, making the crops grow even at night. This was why the air seemed thicker and fresher to humans in this village that was at a bottom of what looked like a large meteor landing. This also explained the Mountain of Minerals that were found at the bottom while excavating the site during the foundation of the Village.

"Now, it's time to play the waiting game..." the old chief said, sitting down on one of the community benches, right outside the spire-shaped building.

Hahaha, my plan worked so flawlessly that it even exceeded my best-case scenario... With that 300 years of experience, my sad and innocent face was probably the most adorable these people have ever seen, the AI's ability is seriously no joke!

My face was mud-spattered, blending in a little with my dark, yet slightly glowy skin. I had a b.u.t.ton-like nose, with a tinge of red in the middle due to exhaustingly long walk I had done to get here. My skin, however, was almost completely flawless, almost as flawless as the manually created one of my old body, which had taken quite a bit of time to make, but one which needed high use of advanced machinery.

My eyelashes were long and well proportioned in distance from each other, matching quite well with my pure black eyes. Not even a tinge of light could be seen in them as if they were an abyss, a void for any light of sorts to reflect off of. The slits for my eyes were thick in the middle, yet long and sleek as the extended away from the nose, I could visibly see some mud on the eyelashes as well as my eyebrows, which were similar to my eye slits, as they too were thick above the eyes, but much sleeker as they extended away from the nose.

My face shape was still covered by baby fat in the cheeks, but not as much as an average 6-year-olds would be, showing a hint of the jawline I possessed under the cheek fat. My lips didn't protrude outward much but they redder than normal, probably due to the deep blood pumps my heart gave out because of the long run.

I had to say, I was adorable.

"Let's wash little Nero up together ladies." the green-eyed woman said, her voice was gentle, it made me feel relaxed, like one of a floating sensation.

After entering the spire, the young ladies all put their thumb on a flat stone with a symbol that glowed a deep blue. This was kept on a Lecturn-shaped table. I was quite curious about how the stone stored biometrics and signaled the door to open, but I didn't show it so to avoid any type of suspicion.

After entering through the second set of white doors, I could see a few benches and lockers that used a key&lock method to safely store a person's belongings, which was identical to the ones used in the 20th and 21st century in my previous world. I guess this world has evolved in things like basic machinery up to around that time, but I was yet to see any signs of actual technology. The outside of this building was so weird because I can't recall any ma.s.s-producible substance that could absorb light to that extent until I found a method.

I felt safe and happy. Cloud 9 wasn't even near as good as this, my body floated in the steaming water, air bubbles from below kept me afloat, comfort all over my body was so pleasurable.

I had finally felt the emotion of Ecstasy.
