Location: Middle of the former-Pacific Ocean, Near the largest meteoroid from the great asteroid hail in 2351, World's largest laboratory, named 'home' by its creator.
Current Crisis: Overpopulation
Previous Crisis: A.I.T.O.A(artificial intelligence takeover attempt), in 2565.
Laws and regulations have been severely b.u.mped up a notch, due to one of the most notorious events in mankind, 'World Dictatorship', occurring only half a century ago. The only ones exempted from this dictatorship were those rich enough to migrate to other planets, and a b.l.o.o.d.y lab pretty much in the middle of no-where on Earth.
This lab had enough nuclear power and, unknown to anyone else but the creator, the ability to manipulate elementary particles to destroy the planet more times than the number of vowels in the word 'Mississippi' in a second, too fast before any defence could be deployed. What's worse was that it would get away completely unscathed, with a gigantic force field-like barrier.
The lab was incredibly large, spanning a few dozen miles in both width and length, which made people wonder how much power was needed to keep such a barrier.

275 years ago, the 15-year-old Nero was forever abandoned by his only known family, his father. The laws in 2284 stated that no guidance was needed to anyone over the age of 15, to help develop the trait of independent thinking during the growing age.
Nero's father, who had neglected his son since his birth, thought that letting Nero suffer without an inkling of wealth and power would be the greatest atonement for the sins he bore. So, with the laws working in his favor, he basically kicked his son out.
However, due to the negligible amount of attention he showed his son, what he didn't know was that his son had already ama.s.sed enough wealth to be in the top 1% to his name. In those years, money could be owned by anyone by anyone who was registered when they were born, which meant they had a bank account since birth. In fact, he had already earned enough to be independent at the age of 10.
His use of money was almost purely for knowledge, only a small bit used up for necessities. Understanding that anything could be gained with wealth, he started off selling unique creations online. The cornerstone of his work lay in the concepts he had learned online about microengineering, particle physics, and fusion and diffusion of particles.
He started off with putting up his first creation, the thunder jar, on an auction to get a rough understanding of product value. The creation itself had the simplistic value of a rather featureless decoration when turned off but the intricacy of each microcircuit fit into the jar lid was mindboggling. There were a few simple switches that when turned on in different sequences created different types of thunder inside the jar. He had put up a video as well, detailing the kinds of lightning strikes possible with the simple flip of a switch.
His estimates were completely shattered as the decoration piece was sold for $1500, his estimates being $25 to $100. The total cost of the build itself was $25. The one who bought it at such an enormous price was a collector. One with an awful lot of money, enough to bid $1500 for simple yet satisfying to look at decoration piece.
From thereon, he used his money for buying e-books and nano and micro-mechanical parts for more creations, in the case of finding more informational sources after using up his money.
By the age of 15, he had saved up over half a million dollars, with one of his creations being sold for $300,000, an ordinary-looking gun. This gun actually contained a nuclear battery that was then separated without blowing and bonded with the bullet loaded. When the bullet faced an impact, it would emit radiation able to kill a target with even a chip that pierced the skin.
It was bought by a Russian mafia located in the UK. The country somehow had seemed to stay stable economically after many rebellions from those suffering from the recent war
With that amount of money, he had invested in a large transportable home that acted as both his lab and home. It wasn't a big place, only the size of two or three hotel rooms combining the upper story.
That was the start of his journey to gain emotions, still possess the speed of processing and comprehension he did then, and still have the store of knowledge accessible which he had now due to the amount of information his brain could store.
The fact that he still had primal instincts also gave a broad yet invisible pathway for his thirst of knowledge.
The humanitarian dilemmas that applied to other scientists such as cruelty of human experimentation, extreme psychological experiments such as the legendary Stanford prison experiment, known even centuries later, did not 'apply' to the mind of Nero Van Quille.
What did apply was the instinct of copulation. In fact, it had greatly affected his early days of earning money from creating. He understood that instincts from his genes still play a role in his 'mindset'.
Thinking of a solution as always, he started drawing images that had somehow awakened this instinct, most being those of woman's body, one that had an emphasis on the curves. From there, he visualized the drawing as a 3d model and printed it.
In his p.u.b.escent years, he had already revamped the model countless times, after which he realized he had modeled a complete human body perfectly, at least the structure of one, but nonetheless flawlessly.
At this point, he had the idea to recreate a body, cell by cell, gene by gene, and somehow move the consciousness into the newly generated body.
He focused all his attention towards achieving this goal, starting off with turning the human perception into data, then stored memory, then finally making the body in-sync with the transferred consciousness. This way, he kept his brain completely the same and refresh his cells, essentially breaking the conclusion humans came to in the end.....
Immortality.
