She couldn't help but remember the kiss that he had placed on her head. He must really love her to wait for her after so much time. The way he carried her and held her close. She really wanted to be with him with all her heart.

She was willing to get her daily treatment to fasten the process so that she could remember. Today she was told she could sit around and be lazy. She was asked what she wanted to eat and she asked for waffles and scrambled eggs with a tall gla.s.s of milk. She ate so much and when she was full they took her plates.

Talia sat there, and she was being ma.s.saged so that her feet would have better circulation because it was now easier for her to get cramps. They were very painful, her legs would go numb. She tried to stay up for more than an hour at a time but she usually found herself pa.s.sing out.

When she woke up it was around night time. She must have pa.s.sed out from all the medication that was given to her. Her headaches were really bad, so she was given painkillers that made her pa.s.s out.

"You are awake." One of the helpers said.

"Yes, is Axel here?"

"Yes mam but he is in his office."

"Can you take me to him."

"Let me check if you can."

"No, I want it to be a surprise so don't tell him."

"Okay mam, let me help you out."

Two of the helpers came to either side of her and helped her up. They put her in a wheelchair. She wasn't feeling the best today. She wanted to protest that she wanted to walk but knew better. When she got to his office one of the helpers knocked at his door.

"I'm busy!"

"Sir, it's.."

"I said I'm busy."

"Sorry.." Talia said loudly.

Within a few seconds the door had opened, "Why didn't you say it was you."

Talia tried to not blush, he looked great in a suit, she just shrugged her shoulders.

"Come let's go watch t.v" Axel said.

"That would be great." She replied.

He pushed her to the living room, he picked her from the wheelchair and set her on the couch. The helpers came when she let out a small cry.

"What's wrong?" Axel asked.

"We need to ma.s.sage her, she has cramps."

"Show me how you do it," Axel replied.

Talia was grinning when she saw how focused Axel was on her feet. He was taking it in and he started to join them. She flinched a bit because she felt exhilaration when Axel touched her.

"Did I hurt you, Talia?"

"No you didn't," she replied quickly. When the ma.s.sage was done Axel came and picked her up and she knew it was time for supper.

The food was delicious for sure and she ate until she was full and had some ice-cream. Axel watched her most of the time and when she would make eye contact she would blush. He had so much his eyes and she felt that most had to do with her, the love, worry, and stress.

When she was done and Axel came to pick her up she wanted to tell him that she wasn't ready for bed. That she wanted to sit with him.

To her surprise, he went to the living room and sat with her on his lap. He took a blanket and threw it over her.

"Aren't you cold?"

"No, you are keeping me warm." He nuzzled her neck.

Talia tried to fight fatigue but she ended up resting her head on his chest and she starts to drift. She felt him smothering away hair from her face. She nuzzled up against him more and smiled against his chest.

"Sleep, my love."

Talia was too tired and that's all she could do at that moment, in the arms of her beloved.
