Chapter 1927 A sudden shyness
Feng Xuhui limped into the elevator with his suitcase.
Although he could still take the large suitcase from the trunk when there was a surgery, he still carried it with him out of habit and refused to leave for a moment.
Without a suitcase, Feng Xuhui felt that he didn’t feel safe at all.
When he arrived at the entrance of the ICU, he saw a girl squatting in the corner of the door, sobbing. Her shoulders were drooping, and she looked very pitiful.
He sighed, suspecting that this was the family member of the emergency patient who had just been sent in.
He was sent directly to the ICU, and it was unknown if he was still alive. Most people would not be able to accept such a thing.
Life was unpredictable, and this was the most obvious experience in the ICU.
Feng Xuhui didn’t try to comfort the girl. He wasn’t good at this. With President Zheng around, there was nothing to be afraid of. Feng Xuhui had such a simple point of view in his heart.
This was something that had been proven over a long period of time and countless examples.
He found a remote, unnoticeable corner and sat down. From here, they could clearly see the main gate of the ICU. As long as President Zheng left or went out, he could immediately see and follow him.
Along the way, Feng Xuhui used his shallow medical knowledge to a.n.a.lyze the situation and concluded that the possibility of this kind of emergency surgery, especially surgery, was not high. However, he still remained cautious and did not dare to relax for a moment.
After he sat down, Feng Xuhui took out a book called interventional surgery from the outer layer of the suitcase and turned to the page he was reading. He wanted to take some time to learn.
But he couldn’t focus.
The girl squatted in a cold corner, her shoulders moving up and down. She had no family, no friends, only herself.
So pitiful.
Feng Xuhui sighed. He took out his phone, looked at the distance, and dialed Liu Xiaojie’s number.
“Xiaojie, is doctor Chang here?”
“It’s fine. There’s only one person crying on this side. I think it’s the family of the patient who was just sent to the ICU. It doesn’t look big, I …”
“Oh, okay.”
After that, Feng Xuhui put down the phone.
Wasn’t he being a little too nosy? Feng Xuhui felt that although he had achieved a small achievement, he still couldn’t judge everything around him with a cold and indifferent gaze and make the most rational judgment that was most in line with his own interests.
Who would have known that he would be staring at the girl out of the corner of his eye while his hands were on the book?
He was afraid that if there was bad news, the girl would not be able to think straight.
Although the possibility of such a thing happening was too low, President Zheng had already gone to the ICU.
Feng Xuhui was still a little anxious.
Very quickly, Chang Yue and Liu Xiaojie took the elevator and rushed over. Chang Yue was holding her phone in her hand as if she had just finished a call.
“Sister Chang, I’m sorry.” Feng Xuhui apologized as soon as he saw her, regardless of whether he was in the wrong or not.
“He’s fine. They’re observing the patient’s condition inside. He should be getting better. They asked me to ask about his medical history.” Chang Yue smiled.
Everyone in the medical team was very friendly to Feng Xuhui.
He was invisible, but he was everywhere.
As long as Zheng Ren needed it, Feng Xuhui would appear in the shortest time possible. Like a legendary great wizard, he would flash to the scene of emergency rescue.
However, when he was not needed, he would hide in a corner and be hard to find.
Feng Xuhui was relieved when he heard Chang Yue say that the patient’s condition had improved.
He was really worrying for nothing. President Zheng had already gone in, so how could there be a problem?
However, today was very strange. Feng Xuhui felt that he was happy because he saw the Chu sisters laughing and shooting Short Video on the pedestrian street. With a sudden change in style and coming to the hospital for emergency treatment, his heart was empty and he was not in the mood to read.
He then focused his gaze on Chang Yue to see how she communicated with the patient.
When he was first sent to this wilderness by the company, the first patient was said to have late-stage liver cancer. He wanted to jump off a building, but doctor Chang persuaded him to stop with a few words.
In the beginning, Feng Xuhui did not think much of it when he was still a rookie. But the longer he worked in this field, the more he felt that doctor Chang was amazing!
Familiarizing himself with everyone around President Zheng was one of the tasks that had to be completed. Feng Xuhui looked at Chang Yue seriously.
He was dressed in a white robe that was a little loose. He probably ran up here in someone else’s clothes at the last minute.
Chang Yue walked over to the patient’s family and squatted down beside the girl without any regard for her status. She then started to chat with the girl.
It should be something like the patient’s condition was under initial control, Feng Xuhui began to make his own guesses.
The first sentence, as long as one had some experience … Or even no experience at all, one would instinctively know what to say.
However, the weight, tone, and body language of a person’s words were all a test of one’s ability.
Feng Xuhui knew that he didn’t have the ability.
Chang Yue seemed to be chatting with the patient’s family calmly. After a few minutes, she seemed to be tired from squatting and stood up.
He also pulled the girl up.
The girl who had been sobbing was in a much better mood. She walked to the window with Chang Yue.
Feng Xuhui was a little curious as to how doctor Chang had told the patient’s family.
Liu Xiaojie didn’t seem to hear anything unusual, and her expression was calm. Well, being plain was a compliment. If it was a little mean, it should be a face of confusion.
The moment he thought of being mean, the image of Su Yun appeared in front of Feng Xuhui’s eyes.
He smiled. Brother Yun should be in emergency treatment now.
Being a doctor actually felt pretty good.
Although boss Zheng and Brother Yun never said anything about it, they always looked excited and happy every time the operation was successful.
The larger the scale of the rescue operation, the stronger this feeling was.
Feng Xuhui looked at Chang Yue, but he could not predict how she would communicate with the girl.
He knew that this was not something that an ordinary person like him could guess.
Doctor Chang was amazing, so was Brother Yun, and everyone in the medical team was amazing!
‘I can’t fall behind,’ Feng Xuhui thought as he touched the book in front of him,’interventional surgery’. He could vaguely feel a wave of power coming from it.
However …
Life was always a joke.
Before Feng Xuhui could finish feeling touched by himself, the atmosphere suddenly changed.
He didn’t know what the other side was saying, but Liu Xiaojie’s face turned red, and so did the girl’s face.
Doctor Chang … Although his face was red, he looked at the girl with determination as if he was asking her something.
What was going on? Asking for his medical history until his face turned red? Were they going to fight?
Feng Xuhui didn’t understand, but he was sure that they weren’t quarreling. They were just being shy.
Uh … What’s going on?
A few minutes later, Feng Xuhui saw Chang Yue pick up her phone and make a call. Then, she brought the girl to Feng Xuhui.
“Little Feng, please make a trip.”
“Oh, oh.” Feng Xuhui immediately stood up. He didn’t ask why, but he resolutely carried out his orders.
