But what vividly remained in his mind was the warm smile she showed when he thought the whole world was against him. When his mother disappeared out of nowhere, he feltweak and vulnerable. She was hanging upside down and was smiling down on him like an angel coming down from the clouds.

Her warm gaze directed at him comforted him too much. Although a simple 'hi' was all she said, it still comforted him greatly. He didn't know why she affected him and comforted him when his brothers couldn't.

Now that he thinks about it, perhaps it was fate? Or perhaps they met in their past life that's why her mere appearance created a great impact in his shattered heart.

He was drowning in his misery and her arrival was his form of salvation.

No words was said but it was a comfortable silence that he treasured. They remained in such position until one of them couldn't take it antmore. She gently placed her hands in his nape and slowly pulled him closer to her lips.

There was no form of resistance from his side. He allowed her to do whatever she wanted and he felt ecstatic when she wanted a kiss. He gently wrapped his hands on her waist and pulled her closer to deepen the kiss.

The kiss was gentle, filled with love and adoration. He couldn't help but smile because her kiss was clumsy like it was her first time kissing someone. She was obviously nervous as her lips trembled when their kiss slowly turned pa.s.sionate.

This was his first kiss as well, but Ji Li Zhao had great instincts and when he trusted it, his tongue became rather aggressive. He deepened the kiss, letting his tongue linger and discover all her hidden caverns. She tastes so sweet that it's hypnotising him to the point of insanity. They were drowning in the excitement of exploring one another that they panted when they could no longer hold on to the kiss.

"Oh My...what a handsome husband I have" she whispered in his ears, her voice sweetly teasing his senses. He breathed heavily, trying to contain his pa.s.sionate excitement.

He bit his lower lip and tried to close his eyes to drown his surfacing fantasies back to where they belong. But before they could be fully contained, her hands found it's way to his face once more. As though teasing him, she caressed his cheeks before she played with his lips. He could hear a chuckle from her side before he felt a soft flesh in his lips.

He abruptly opened his eyes when she parted from him. He looked at her straight in the eye and when he saw her adorable smile, he lost it. Driven by instincts, he delved straight in her lips and she replied with vigor pa.s.sion. He was taking the lead first but when she got the hang of it, she began a.s.serting the kiss and it drove him to madness.

As their body became closer the kiss turned hungrier and Ji Li Zhao found himself lost in her lead. He sneaked his hands on her back and slowly guided her inside the room once more. When she started clinging on his neck, he decided that the journey was taking too slow for their ignited libido. He placed his hands on her b.u.t.tocks and carried her towards their bed.

Her golden locks now sticky in sweat scattered the moment she landed on their bed. Their kiss never stopped and they found themselves entwined with one another till morning.

The sun was already shining brightly when Ji Li Zhao woke up. He was naked and he had plenty of love marks all over his body. Before panic could rule him, a sweet and savory scent warped his senses making him dress up in a hurry. He followed the delicious scent and found himself in the kitchen. A smile was immediately drawn in his face when he saw his wife cooking.

Feeling his presence, she abruptly turned around making her pink ap.r.o.n with a huge heart visible to him. She smiled towards him while he chuckled at her adoptable actions.

He slowly walked towards her and placed a kiss on her forehead. "What's for breakfast?"

Hou Wei Yan smiled at what he did before she turned around and placed a kiss on his cheeks. "Egg Benedict"

After quite a long wait, both of them finally settled in their seat. They were facing each other, taking a few glances at one another as they ate breakfast.

"Are you okay?" he asked worriedly when he saw her touching her hips.

Did he perhaps go too far?

Noticing his worried voice she immediately flashed him a smile like the ache in her hips was a small matter. "It's bearable. I'm even surprised that it doesn't hurt that much considering what happened last night"

He could only bite his lower lip in vexation. He could tell she's not entirely fine. Last night was a first to them so they might have pushed themselves without knowing their limit. They were too excited that he lost control of himself and that caused a backlash in his wife's body.

That very moment, he decided not to do it too much if they ever engage in such matter again. To not hurt her, he decided to practice discipline once more and control his emotions so he won't get swept away by Hou Wei Yan's allure.

When they finished, Hou Wei Yan urged him to feed the dogs while she wash the dishes.

As an obedient husband, he followed her orders and feed the ecstatic dogs. Chocolat was the most vigorous of them all as he jumped at him the moment he showed up with the dog food in his hands. The others ate well but Vanilla ate the most. He was amused at how much food she can intake that he can't help but chuckle.

After feeding them, he hurriedly went back to the kitchen and saw his beautiful wife once more. He crossed his arms and leaned on the wall before he smiled to himself.

Waking up to this sight is the best thing that could happen to him. The care she's giving him is beyond his wildest dream. Last night was quite intense, she's still sore but here she is, taking care of him vigorously.

Unable to hold back, he walked towards her and tried to take the foam from her but Hou Wei Yan was swift enough to pull it away from his grasp. She immediately clicked her tongue and pouted at his intentions. She turned around and faced him.

"Behave yourself" she firmly said with an angry look on her face.

But even though she was supposed to look angry, she still looked adorable that he can't help teasing her even more. He sneaked his hands on her waist and pulled her closer to him before he planted a kiss on her lips.

Once he parted from her, he flashed her a captivating smirk. "But I don't want to behave?"

She raised her brows at him but before she could even mutter anything, Ji Li Zhao's arms already held her body and gently placed her on the countertop. A cute squeak was all she could voice out in surprise to what he did. He then took the foam away from her hands and placed it beside her before he locked in his arms. He leaned closer to her, a smirk still adorning his face.

He stared directly at her eye and remained smiling when he saw the fl.u.s.tered look on her face. She was turning red and he's loving it.

Slowly, he leaned in closer to her, their lips only half an inch apart. He was ready to kiss her torridly but everything suddenly shook like an earthquake had hit their home.

He was baffled so he looked back at Wei Yan only to see her smiling figure disappearing in front of him.

"Boss. We have arrived" someone suddenly said making him abruptly open his eyes.

He was still in quite a trance but when he saw Huang Xun's face reality immediately draw to him.

It was all a dream! Everything was a dream after all!

"Boss?" Huang Xun asked looking baffled at his unexplainable expression. Slowly, he turned towards Huang Xun with a poker face.
