Coincidence Or Fate 8 Chapter 8 - Package

For now I ignored anything that had to do with Mr. Davis offer and enjoyed the night with my friends and even with the devil. As we drink and party all night I was feeling so happy. When I felt I was getting tipsy and drunk I got down to the dance floor to drain the poison out of my system. When I feel like my mind is clear I would go back to them and drink away again.

"Should we head home soon?" I asked

"I think we should." Jamie answered

"We should, I still have some work to do later..."

"Come on guys, don't be such a party p.o.o.per..."

"Sorry Scott maybe next time..."

"b.l.o.o.d.y h.e.l.l guys, I just got back..."

"Come on Scott unlike you we need to actually work to earn some money."

"F*ck you, get the h.e.l.l out of here."

As we got up and notice Scott depress look we all started to feeling worried for him. We can see why he would be so depress since we hardly see each other now unlike before. Specially him since his always busy travelling around. In order to calm the devil I walked towards him and path him on the head.

"Thanks for earlier" I said with a gentle smile.

He did not say anything but I know that would cheer him up. So the three of us left him and did not say a word to each other of what I did earlier.

Since Jamie live the opposite direction from me it was Jordon who drove me home. He grab a cigarette from his coat pocket and before lighting it he looked at me as if he was aking if its alright.

"Light away..."

As he light the cigarette the whole car was filled with smoke. I really hated the smell of cigarette but did not mind when people smoke it in front of me. So I would briefly open the window time to time to let the smoke out.

"By the way Jordon regarding my proposal last time."

"I did think about it already."

Since my return to England I didn't really let anyone know. However, I did mention to one of my uncle I've return since I wanted to visit my grandmother's grave. My parents never told me my grandmother pa.s.sed away which hurt me a lot and started hating them more.

Growing up in England my grandmother was my bestfriend. Despite not being blood related to her. She really loved me so dearly. The fact she treated me like her own daughter since she only has two son and all grandchildren were also boys. When she pa.s.sed away she left me some fortune which my parents did not mention at all. But with the help of my uncle I was able to received it in no time.

Since I received a small amount of fortune I decide to invest it in a business. I was really skilled when it comes to pastry and dessert so I though of open a coffee which also sell bread and different pastry. Since Jordon took up business and accountancy with a masteral degree he was the first person I asked for help.

"Regarding your request, its not a problem at all. I can even manage it for you until you find a suitable person to take charge of the marketing and accounting part of your business. While you just focus on the baking part."

"Really?!" I said as I jump in excitement and b.u.mp my head on the car roof.

"b.l.o.o.d.y h.e.l.l, what are you thinking..." he said as he pulled the car to a corner and checked my head.

"Where does it hurt?"

"Its fine, I was just a little too excited."

"Be careful next time." as he continued to drive again. "Anyways, I'll send you an email later regarding the details and locations of different spot I think would be best for you to open your shop."

"Jordon thank you so much!" I said as I reached out to hugged him.

"Come on, I'm driving to you want us to die."

"Please don't I still want to open my shop." as I sat down proper on my sit to avoid further damage.

As we laugh away through the night until I reach my flat. I got out of the car and said farewell to Jordon. Before I could enter the building I received message, I took my phone out and it was from the devil and at the same time the card that was given to me earlier fell off from my purse. I got down and picked it up and tooked at it again. I placed it back in my purse and check the devil message. [Babe, sleep well and dream of me.]

Seeing his message frustrated me and made me regret what I did earlier.

[F*ck you!!!!!!]

Before I could put my phone away as I enter the building my phone received a message again. I ignored for now the and got on the lift. I was on the 5th floor so it will take awhile to reach which gave me some time to checked on the message.

[I guess your home then ^-^ But babes do take me seriously.]

[Get lost!!!!]

[Sleep well darling ^-^]

I couldn't be bother with him anymore since I was to tipsy already. Instead I send a message to Jamie telling him I'm home.

[Jamie I'm home. Night]

[Okay, Night!]

By the way he responded seems like his home as well. As the lift door open and I got out. I notice there was a package at my doorstep. I got down to pick the box up and read who it came from as I realise who the box came from all I could do was say nothing since I did not have the engery anymore.

"F*ck that devil"

I was too drunk already to even bother and just went inside my flat and took a quick shower. As I change into my two piece pajama and dry my hair. I notice the box I left on the bed. I was curious of what the devil could have send me and he didn't mentioned it to me earlier as well.

Inside were different type of key chain, small ornaments and post card. The post card had picture of different wonders of the words at the same time there were small messages on them. I started reading to some of the post card and my eyes started to redden.

I did my first skip jump which broke my leg. It was risky but at least I did it.

As I continued on reading on the different post card he send me, tears were falling down my face. Even though we weren't in the best relationship he was also always there for me. Since my return he was the first one to offer me help and found me the job at the bar. I only started hating him because I can't get over of the past.

I took a look at all the images he has taken on his wild crazy adventure for the past years. Some of them were very risky indeed and scary but I see he was happy and enjoying himself. I arrange the ornaments he gave me on the headboard. When all of them were aligned on my headboard I was delight to see them. Then I though of the words he mention at the club earlier. My mind started to wonder again regarding Mr. Davis offer whether I should take it or not. My heart seems to wish the adventurous life but my mind is too afraid of the consiquences and the risk is just to too much for me to bare for now.
