Coincidence Or Fate Chapter 14

A week has pa.s.sed by and I have completed my first song . It was already release in the radio . I received loads of feedback online and everyone seems to be delighted with my song . We have already started as well working on the other songs . Within a couple more weeks we planned to release the alb.u.m hoping it will be top 1 by the end of the year .

At the same time, the preparation for my shop is almost complete . With the devil's help I was able to get the supplies I need to open the shop . Toby provide most of the decorations in the shop and we didn't need to purchased new equipment and materials in the kitchen . There weren't really a lot of decoration needed except for the eating and small lounge area . Since one corner of the shop was mainly for displaying the bread and desserts .

Today I'm suppose to meet my editor since I'm almost complete with my first novel . We planned to sign a contract today in releasing my novel . Instead of meeting in the company she asked me to meet up in the near bookstore in there area which is also a local coffee shop . I haven't meet my editor in real person, since it was Jamie who introduces us to each other online . Not only is she and editor she is also a professor at Jamie's University . I arrived 20 minutes before the set time since I was so nervous .

The hot coffee I order started to turn cold since I was to anxious to even drink it . I was sat facing the door way so I know if she has arrived . Every time the door open it rung the bell on it making it obvious if a people are coming in or out .

It was a few minutes till our meeting time and I heard the sound of the bell . I looked to see who it was and there stood a woman in here late 50s . She had grey hair and huge gla.s.ses . Despite her age she didn't looked that bad since she was dress so fashionably . I got up from were I was seated at an approached her . "Professor Megz?"

The way she looked at me felt like I was being examine . "You must be Angelique?"

I nodded and showed her were I was sat and help her took off her coat . As I sat down nervously I could not help by avoid looking at her .

"Jamie was right you are indeed pretty . " she added .

Wait, what did she say? Me pretty? Jamie told the professor I was pretty, "Thank you . "

"Anyways, since we have almost completed the novel I decide to contact the company and have it publish . Lets just hope that the readers will enjoy it the way I did . "

"Thank you . "

"Here the contract in publishing you novel . Read it careful and tell me if you have any problem . "

As I read through the contract the professor ordered herself a cup of lemon tea . I check the contract careful making sure everything we talked about last time were all added . Since I'm planning to also publish my other works I need to make sure I'll received all the benefits .

"Professor, everything seems to be alright . "

"Thats good then, before you sign it do you have any question?"

"Well Professor it not really a question but more of a request . If possible you wont published the book under my full name but only with my first name . "

"How come?"

"You see professor I also started a career as a singer a few days ago and I do not want people to buy my book because of my fame as a singer but instead because they appreciate me as a writer . If possible you can just right the initials of my name only . "

"I see, that is a problem . Anyways, most writer now have a pen name and your request isn't that big of a problem . "

"Thank you Professor, I've sign the contract, here you go . " As I hand over the contact to her, she gave me a sweet smile and offer a gentle hand shake .

"Well Angelique I hope you the best of luck . "
