"Scott are you alright?" Angelique said as she returned to her seat noticing Scott's cold expression.

It startled Scott from Angelique sudden return, he smiled avoiding her from being curious to his sudden frustration, but it surprised him more notice the girl reddish eye.

"She must have cried." Scott thought but he dare not question her instead offer her a gla.s.s of wine. "Come, let's eat."

Unexpectedly, the atmosphere between them changed as they both complimented the food. Scott knows Angelique well, the best way to win her is not through expensive gift but time and food. She loves food more than anything else, it was her pa.s.sion and nothing can stop her from pursuing it.

Angelique smiled brightly as she tasted the clams, "Scott, you must try them."

"If you insist," Scott said as he took a bite of the clam Angelique offered. "It is indeed."

Seeing Scott smiled dumbfound Angelique to what she was doing, she did not realize she just feed Scott using her own fork. Since the atmosphere between them seem pleasant, she did not dare cause a scene, "I told you so..." She smiled

"Should I order you some dessert?" Scott asked

"Scott I ain't a pig you know." Angelique frowned for the fact she has eaten more than Scott.

"I'll order some for you then..." He smiled

It fl.u.s.tered Angelique for Scott sudden change of character. She was not mad at him for orders dessert for her. She watched him as she continues to finish her meal as Scott carefully order the dessert with the help of the server. Angelique could not help it but smile, it was truly like they were on a date.

A moment later, the server return with some dessert.

"Miss, here you go." the server said

Angelique's eyes were all sparkling as she witnesses the different dessert in front of her, she did not know what to partake first. They were all too good to be just devoured.

"Is something wrong?" Scott asked

"They are too beautiful to just be eaten," Angelique replied, as she looked up to face Scott. It stunned her to witness Scott's sweet smile, it was such a gentle expression something she has not seen for a while.

Angelique took a bite at the dessert, she then softly whisper, "Thank you for tonight."

It surprises Scott hearing the girl sweet gesture, he did not expect her to say such a word. "Your welcome."

Whilst Angelique was finishing her dessert, Scott was busy checking his phone.

"Is something wrong?" Angelique asked

"Business..." he replied

"What wrong?" She asked

"The girl I'm supposed to walk with during the red carpet at Venice back out since she suddenly got engaged."

"Why are you heading to Venice?"

"I invested in a movie," he replied

"Don't tell me, The Last d.u.c.h.ess..." Angelique was all smiled

"Ye" Scott was dumbfounded to see why the girl was all smiling

"I've seen the trailer, the movie looks so good."

"Of course, my friends is the director." he smiled, "Of course the movie will be amazing."

Angelique finished her dessert before she asked, "When is it?"

"In 3 days." He replied as he took a sip of his wine.

"I can go with you."

Scott choked on the wine he was drinking, as he put his gla.s.s down, he grabs his napkin as he cleaned his lips, "What?"

"I said I can go with you, in return for dining with me tonight," she replied avoiding his stare.

"Ange, did you hit your head," Scott replied

Angelique was furious at the same time tried to hide his laughter, she thought "Finally the real Scott is back."

"Ange, did you eat too much?" he added

"b.l.o.o.d.y h.e.l.l, if you don't want me to go you could just say no. You don't have to be such an *ss about it." she frowned

"No, I mean... I love too..." Scott smiled

When Angelique notice Scott expression, she could not say a single word but just nod her head. She wonders what will happen next...
