The little boy was being monitored by some doctors and was lying in a bed.

After a while the doctors confirmed that the boy's vital signs were normal. But the girl wasn't. She was losing too much blood and she needed operation right at the moment.

The doctors quick diagnosis was that she was trying to protect the boy and whe she grabbed him, she curled into a ball and safely protected the boy by receiving the impact.

But the impact affected her head the most and she needed surgery at once. She had too many wounds and some were big. Especially on her legs, which were almost unrecognizable.

When Ming Yuan tried to save the boy, she tried to push him away but seeing the distance he would still get hit. So she reacted fast and grabbed the boy, encircled her body around him and waited for the impact.

Her knees were hit first then followed her head and she tumbled down the road, her legs almost teared all the way to her bones.

Ming Yuan endured the pain and still hugged the boy tightly in a ball. Then when she crashed into the sidewalk, she stopped rolling and eventually she knew her conciousness was going away.

If she knew this would happen she would not have to think about the future at all. Whether to fire those stupid employees, or unable to finish reading her favorite romanve novel, or unable to listen to her favorite music anymore.

The little boy still has a bright future ahead. It would be a waste if he died. He didn't even know anything about what was happening. He was confused and didn't know what to do. He was scared.

'I think I saw myself in him.' Ming Yuan thought.

It hurts more to think. Maybe I am going to die after all.

As Ming Yuan, thought about that a tear rolled down her cheek that reached the boy's forehead.

Little did she know, the little boy stirred a little in her warm embrace.

" ...mommy?..."

At the hospital, the man was pacing back and forth outside the operation room. It was already a coincidence that he had the same blood type with her and donated some blood.

Now, he is waiting patiently for the operation to finish.

He was distracted out of his thoughts when a doctor came up to him.

" Mr. Jun. Your son is awake and his vital signs are all normal. He's got a few bruises but nothing serious. I suggest you see him right now since...he's throwing a tantrum."

The doctor stopped for a moment before saying the last few words. Because ever since he mentioned the word "son" the man was giving him a death glare.

'Such luck for me. Now how am I going to deal with this? How am I going to control my own son??'

The doctor oblivious of his thoughts, stayed rooted on the floor. The man had been silent for a while. He almost lost his patience and was about to ask what to do since when he gets back, the hospital room might already be...in its worse state.

To his surprise, the man then replied.

"I'll come over. Stay here. Inform me news when the operation ends."

Then he walked away.

The doctor sighed in relief. But realized that he was in a tight spot. If he was the one delivering news...what if the news would be bad?

He would be done for.

No not just him...the whole hospital would be done for. Hospital A was a subsidiary business of that man. If they could not save this person they would be wiped out instantly.

That man was the boss. The head of the Jun family.
