"Oh that's quite a lot of DP from just 3 cavalries." the ghost was shocked by the unusual high amount of DP rewards, "I see, the wolves are each considered one death, that explains a lot."

The ghost suddenly remembered that his newly summoned skeleton archers didn't have any special attack skills after they had split from the skeleton, he begin searching and filtering the item shop for archery type skills.

The ghost purchased all the recommended skills on the list and made his skeleton archers learn them immediately. Next he tasked each of them to rotate their skills, as some of the skills requires mana, while the others have a long cool down.

After he was done, he headed over to Auriel to check on her. "Hey Auriel, did anything happened while I was a.s.signing stuff?"

"Oh, Mr ghost, you're back, the small goblin seems to be trying to talk to the other goblin." Auriel turn over to the ghost and said as she was watching the dungeon live broadcast screen.

"Thanks, chibi, I'll see what I can do about it." the ghost replied her and patted her on the head. "Oh, when you see Tempest is free, could you get her to come to our location?"

"Okay, Mr ghost." Auriel replied.

The ghost went into the dungeon layout menu and split the cell into two while expanding the sides. After he change the layout, he went to look for Kuro, at that moment, Kuro was lurking in it's cat tower.

"Hey Kuro, want to go scratch up some goblins?" the ghost asked Kuro when he arrived at the cat tower.

"Meow" as Kuro came out from one of the small house.

Next, the duo teleported to the crypt and headed to the jail where they were currently holding the goblin prisoners.

"h.e.l.lo again, I see you have already tried to talk to the new inmate of yours. So do you know who that hobgoblin is?" the ghost didn't bother diverting the topic and he got straight to the point.

"Erm, that person is from the wolf cavalry, how did you...." before the goblin could finish the sentence, the ghost used his eyes to signaled Kuro to attack it.

"Arghhh..... please stop." the goblin pleaded as he pant.

"Why didn't you mentioned it when I asked you previously?" the ghost retorted.

"I'm sorry,.... I'm sorry..... it might have slipped my mind." the goblin was in a crouching position as it replied.

The ghost waved his hand and signaled Kuro to stop. "How many are there?"

"There are about 30 of them." the goblin said softly.

"Do you have anything else you want to tell me that had slipped from your mind?" the ghost stared at him.

"The army might have siege weapons." the goblin whimper softly.

"Hmmm, we might need to do something about that." The ghost looks at Kuro and said.

Meanwhile, outside the dungeon.

"Have the scouts returned?" the leading goblin knight looks to it's subordinate and asked.

"No, Sir, they have not returned." the hobgoblin replied.

"What are they doing, leave two group minor behind to guard the camp, the rest follow me into the dungeon." the leading goblin knight roared as it stood up equipped it's armor and walked out of it's tent, it's huge wolf which was laying down on the floor beside it followed closely behind.

"Yes, sir!" the hobgoblin replied with a stern voice.

Within 10 minutes, the entire cavalry platoon gathered behind the goblin knight.

"Sir the platoon is ready." the hobgoblin reported to the goblin knight.

"Let's move out!" the goblin knight roared as it mounted it's wolf and headed into the dungeon.

"Here they come." the ghost stared at the goblin in rage, the next moment he took Kuro and teleported back to the dungeon master room.

Once he was back, he send the skeleton archers and the skeleton mages to the ledges of the main hall and activated the fog in the swamp. Next he send the wraith knight and the skeleton warriors to the hallway.

"Mr ghost, what's going on?" Tempest came over and asked when she saw the ghost deploying all the skeleton out of the training grounds.

"The goblins are attacking, I need you to go lead the skeleton archers and mages, make whatever decision you need to, here's some mana potions and healing potions for your own use. Don't bother giving to the skeletons, I can resummon them if we need to." the ghost brief Tempest and pa.s.sed the healing and mana potions he had made, before teleporting over himself.

Unlike previously where the group splitted up to take down the skeletons, this time however, the entire cavalry moved as a unit with the goblin knight in the lead.

They ignored the 2 skeleton warrior that were harvesting and rushed towards the portcullis. Half of the forces managed to rushed in before the iron gates drop and locked the rest outside in the swamp. Immediately after they rushed in, the group remaining split into two as they circle around the circ.u.mference avoiding the middle entirely. The Gargoyles in the middle started shedding their stone skin and begin flying in the sky.

However, the few goblin cavalry that were trapped in the middle of the two gates were in the worst place. As all of a sudden, magic spells and arrows started pelting them from above.

"Ahhh"

"Sir help us!"

Hearing that, the goblin cavalry on the outside started attacking the iron gates to try and break their comrades out of their predicament.

Seeing that it couldn't do anything to save it's trapped subordinate, the goblin knight stopped and looked around to see if there was a way up onto the ledges. It spotted a door at the corner, which seems to be leading from the wooden door on the opposite side of the iron gates. It immediately signal one of the group minor hobgoblin to head over, while he took a throwing spear from it's wolf side pouch and threw it at one of the flying gargoyles.

It managed to hit one of the flying gargoyles and pierced one of the flying gargoyles on the legs. , Although the gargoyle was still in the air, it begin wobbling, but not for long as another spear came flying and broke it's wings, causing it crashing into the ground.

The other group minor on the other hand had arrived at the hallway door, but due to the close width, they could only line up to head in. They travel in cautiously and reach the first door unharmed. All of a sudden, the two doors opposite swung opened inwards, as 2 skeleton warriors on each side of the door speared the first cavalry goblin unit and hold it in place.

"Neighhh!"

At the end of the hallway the door leading downwards opened and dark blue flames begin rushing out from the door. Just before the horse impacted the goblin cavalry, the skeleton warriors pulled back their spears and they followed closely right behind the wraith knight.

While the entire goblin cavalry group minor were send flying back into the main hall, at the same time another goblin cavalry group minor was circling and attacking the fallen gargoyle. Seeing the flying goblins, the goblin knight stared over towards the wooden door.

Seeing the wraith knight slowly emerges from the wooden door, the goblin knight screamed,"f.u.c.k, this wasn't in the report, why is there a wraith knight here!"

Without hesitating, the wraith knight pointed towards the fallen gargoyle, the rest of the flying gargoyles immediately flew down and attack the group minor that was at that location. While trying to fend off the gargoyles the group didn't notice arrows and magic projectiles flying over. The sudden bombardment of arrows and magic projectiles cause all of the goblins to be knocked off their wolf mount.

Realizing the gravity of the situation, the goblin knight roared, "Go support them" as he threw another throwing spear at where the projectiles were coming from.

"Woah that was close." Tempest said as a skeleton archer's head was smashed into pieces by the flying spear beside her. She immediately ducked down and commanded the skeletons to hide when she saw a few more spears flying over.

Looking towards the goblin knight, the wraith knight (currently possessed by the ghost) raised his lance and begin his charge towards it. Seeing a slight movement at the corner of it's eyes, the goblin knight immediately made it's wolf move to the side to avoid the charge, however, it still took some damage.

After the wraith knight pa.s.sed it, the goblin knight turned around to face him again. It took a throwing spear from it's side and raise it up as if it was a lance to go against the wraith knight and they begin jousting.

Realizing it wasn't safe to fire down to the main hall from the ledges, Tempest headed to the front where the portcullis is located, from there she peek out from the arrow slit and started casting blizzard at the location of the iron gate.

"Arghhh, this hurts, everyone stop attacking the gate and retreat back, spread out and find what's casting this magic." one of the hobgoblin leader shouted, they couldn't see where the spell came from as the swamp was so foggy that they could only make out figures that were 2 meters ahead.

Hearing the hobgoblin's command, the rest of the goblins begin retreating from the spell and started spreading out to find the source. Little did they know what a mistake that was.

One by one the goblin numbers dwindle in the fog, soft gnawing sounds could be heard from a distance. One of the goblin cavalry stumbled onto a dead comrade goblin's body, but before it could scream, it felt a rush of blood coming out from it's throat. As it fell off the back, it's wolf carry on moving forward as it didn't realized it's owner is dead.

From above at the arrow slits, Tempest could see a pair of little red eyes dashing all around the swamp.

"Kuro is doing lots of work, I better buck up!"As Tempest tried to motivate herself and moved back towards the ledge to see how the fight between wraith knights and gargoyles were going.

To her surprise the wraith knight and the goblin knight were still jousting, but their clashes had caused some of the other goblins at the side to take damage. Although a large number of them were still alive, most of them had been thrown of the mount while trying to dodge them or attack the gargoyles. The gargoyles on the other hand, would take advantage of the situation and swooped down grab some of the goblins by the shoulders with their hind leg claws and throw them off their mount. Seeing so many of them on the floor, Tempest couldn't not take advantage of it as she gets the skeleton archers and mages to fire their arrows and spells at them.

"Ahhhh" as screams begin to echoed throughout the main hall.

The very next moment, the goblin knight was knocked off it's wolf mount, as it became distracted by the sudden cries from his subordinates. It looked up towards the wraith knight realizing it was all over, but to it's surprise, the wraith knight did not end the goblin knight's life, instead he rode pa.s.sed it and attack it's remaining subordinates.

The goblin knight mustered it's last strength and roared as it stand up, it's wolf immediately came towards it, the goblin knight immediately grabbed the mane of it's wolf as the wolf ran pa.s.sed towards the wraith knight.

All of the sudden, the iron gates lifted up.

"Finally!" the goblin knight looks over, thinking that his remaining platoon had broken through.

To his surprise a little black cat appeared from the fog and sat in front of the iron gate it started licking it's paws that was dripping in blood. "Meow", from a single command, a group of zombies begin walking in through the portcullis.

The goblin knight's eyes widen as it saw this scene, as most of it's remaining subordinates had been thrown off their mounts.

"Retreat! Get out of here!" the goblin knight shouted at the top of it's lungs.

But before he himself could retreat, one of the gargoyles had grabbed it with their hind legs and was holding him up in the air. No matter how hard it struggled it couldn't break free from the gargoyles grip.

Hearing his command, the surviving goblins begin retreating towards the portcullis, but to their dismay, a group of zombies were standing there growling at them.

"Kill their wolves, ignore the goblins." the wraith knight shouted.

After hearing the wraith knight words, the skeletons archers and mages immediately switch over to target the remaining wolves. Delighted by what they heard, the goblins continue on to try and get away from here, as they headed towards the portcullis. The zombies on the other hand tried to bite and clawed at the retreating goblins and hobgoblins as they ran pa.s.sed.

The goblin knight could only stared as they left it behind, as the last howl sounded off from a dying wolf. The goblin knight fainted from the trauma.

After the goblins ran out of the portcullis, Tempest came over to the wraith knight and said, "You sure you want to let them go? I could still kill some of them right from here."

"Let them run, an injured soldier on the battlefield is a far greater burden than a dead one." the wraith knight replied Tempest as if he had a smirk on his face.
