The Ghost Dungeon Master 10 The Knight's Raid 2

"Alright give me a few minutes, I'll be right back." the ghost replied while shaking his head.

The ghost flew out of the mausoleum and into the other one where the Heavy skeleton Cavalry is. After that he possessed the heavy skeleton cavalry, dismounted from his horse and headed to the location where the kid was locked up. He immediately begin to remove the gravestone one by one. Once he was done removing the last gravestone, he called out to the kid, "Kid, I am outside right now and will be opening the door now, so don't be too surprise."

As the door creaked open, what stood in front of the kid was a armored skeleton, he immediately put his hands to cover his mouth. Seeing an undead in front of him in a dark eerie place is frightening enough that he had almost screamed out loudly. After a few minutes of getting use to it, he removed his hands and said, "Mr ghost, is that you?"

"Yes, it's me, come follow me." The ghost brought him over to the dummy dungeon core and said, "Alright kid, you stay right here, I'll be right back."

After saying that, the ghost went back to the mausoleum and sealed it up with grave stones again. Then, he went back to the dummy dungeon core's mausoleum, got onto the skeleton horse and deactivate his possession skill. Next, he gave a command to the Heavy Skeleton Cavalry to protect the kid and to charge at and attack anyone else who tries to come in here.

"Alright kid, this heavy skeleton cavalry will protect you here. I'll have to leave you here, to check on the situation. If things get bad, I will come over to help you immediately. Alright?" the ghost said to the kid in a gentle tone.

"Alright."the kid reply, even though he was still trembling.

The ghost went back to the dungeon master room to check on the dungeon live broadcast screen.

"Boss, the logs for the barricades have been brought back." Braden, reported to the bandit boss Johnny as the other bandits begin piling up the wooden logs on the side.

Johnny looks over to tank, "Tank go check on the kid."

"Yes boss," after replying, tank headed down to the graveyard area.

"Alright, the rest of you start building a blockade with the logs. Braden, get some of them to take the thinner sticks, sharpen it to make a makeshift spears." Johnny gave orders to each of bandits as he had more experience in this kind of stuff, after that he begin to shaving the wood of the thinner sticks himself.

~~~Half an hour later~~~

A few make-shift wooden wall and wooden spikes were created block part of the entrance way into the dungeon, they have place one on the doorway that leads towards the second level as well. They also place all the make-shift spears that they had just made all around the dungeon main entrance.

"Boss, the kid is no where to be found." Tank was panting as he had rushed up from the graveyard.

Before Johnny could even do anything, he heard a loud hooting noise from outside.

"s.h.i.t they're here already, Tank don't bother about that kid any longer." Johnny said, and he gave a speech, "BOYS, we have been betrayed by our kingdom, that's why we came here, some have lost their families, some have lost their lands, but as long as we are alive we can get back at that dreaded kingdom. Now, another kingdom is trying to destroy our only way to go back. BOYS, we shalt pray that on this day if we were to survive, no we will survive and get back what's rightfully ours, in due time."

Not long after the speech.

"Knights of Advenguard, Hear my command, destroy all those who stand in our way."A huge man in a fully plated silver armor that had lots of engravings raised his sword in hand and commanded the knights that were following closely behind.

The Knights were holding kite shields and a swords in hand charged into the entrance one by one, all of them had a dull metallic armor unlike the first one that came in. Spears begin flying in from the other end, but it was useless, as the make-shift spears immediately bounce off the shields.

Seeing that the spears were ineffective, the bandits boss commanded them to attack. Leading the attack, the bandit boss smash head on with his body, he manage to knock down one of the knights in the front. The other bandits followed in closely behind him, however, due to their weaker stats, some of them were being knocked back instead.

Carver was swinging his sword wildly as well, he had knocked one of the knight down and that knight was bleeding badly, but before he could kill him, Carver was knocked back to the ground. Looking up, he saw that the silver knight was the one who knocked him away. He bit his lips and fall back when he saw the knight that was about to die begin glowing white, he immediately realize the trouble and shouted, "Johnny! they have healers with them."

Not long after, Carver said that a wave of fireb.a.l.l.s came smashing into the group of bandits.

"ARGHHH"

"AHHHH, Help me!" Cries and screams started echoing in the main hall as a burning man started running around before slamming on the ground charred.

"F***, they have mages as well. " realizing the danger Johnny immediately shouted, "BOYS FALL BACK INTO THE HALLWAY."

Bandits that were closes to the door, begin throwing the make-shift wooden spears to cover the retreating comrades. When the last surviving bandit went through the door, they immediately close the door and use the make-shift wooden door to barricade it to further enforcing it.

"How many men do we have left."Carver asked.

"Including us, 10 people in total." Braden replied.

KABAM! KABOOM! BAM!

The continuous sounds of fireb.a.l.l.s resounded as it impact on the door.

"This door isn't going to hold, we need that kid as a hostage if we are going to survive." Carver immediately thought of the kid, seeing that it had already become a hopeless situation.

"Alright, let's retreat to the graveyard zone." after saying that, Johnny lead the way and headed down the stairs.

Seeing the entire graveyard area was foggy, Johnny looks at tank and asked, "Was it this foggy just now?"

When the bandits opened the door of the mausoleum the last thing they saw was two pairs of eerie blue smoking eyes.

Just before the bandits had decided to go down to find the kid. The ghost bought the mist setting and place it into the dungeon layout.

The kid nodded his head and immediately laid down on the floor. After seeing the kid laid down, the ghost possessed the heavy skeleton cavalry.

The ghost checked the skills of the heavy skeleton cavalry one last time.

Hearing sounds coming from the other side of the door, the ghost closed his dungeon menu and raised his iron lance. As the door opened, he immediately activate his charge skill.

The skeleton horse cried out as he charged forward, slamming into a few of the bandits sending them flying. One of them was pierce by the lance as his body dangle on the tip of the lance.

"Where did that thing come from?" a sudden shout came from the front.

Spears begin flying toward the heavy skeleton cavalry. However, all of it had miss as the fog was very thick, the cavalry seems to have disappear when it circled around getting ready for another charge.

"Neighhh."

The ghostly horse sound echoed around the area, two blue pairs of smoking eyes appear suddenly as it slammed into a few more bandits.

After taking a few more lives, the bandit bosses tried to attack the cavalry, however it seemed to have disappeared again into the fog as it was too fast for them.

"Come back you coward." A loud scream could be heard.

"We cannot cl.u.s.ter we got to spread out, else we will get trample by that cavalry."

Hearing that, the ghost summoned 2 zombies and commanded them to attack the group.

Due to the darkness, the remaining bandits could not see well, one of them launch an attack when he saw a silhouette approaching them. Not realizing there were 2, the other zombie manage to bite down on him, causing him to shriek in pain as a part of his flesh was being torn off.

Before his allies could go and support him, the ghost initiate another charge attack.

"Here he comes!" as one of the bandits spotted 2 pairs of smoking blue eyes moving towards them. Before they could prepare themselves against the cavalry, a bone spear pierce through one of them, surprise by the sudden spear flying over, they didn't have time to react, causing another one of them to get knocked by the cavalry's charge.

The last of bandits was seriously injured even though he wasn't being charge head on, but the pa.s.sive skill trampling had manage to cause ma.s.sive damage to him.

"Kill me! End bloob~, my suffering!" blood spilled out from his mouth, as he tried to talk.

The ghost got off his horse and walked towards the last bandit, as he was raising his sword to end him, the bandit launch a final attack with his dagger. However, it did not go as he has plan, even though the dagger managed to pierce through the ghost's armor, there wasn't any bleeding. When the bandit saw that, he realized and he said, "So it was you who were sending all those undead over."

"Yes" as the ghost ended his life after replying.

Before the ghost could get back to his horse, he was being strike with holy spells.

Looking towards the direction where the spells came from, the ghost saw the group of knights that had came to raid the dungeon.

He wanted to retreat back to the horse, but the commanding knight in silver armor leaped towards him immediately, having no other options, the ghost pulled out his shield to blocked the Knight's attack.

BANG!

A loud and sharp sound echoed out when the Knight's attack smashed into the shield. The ghost was on the losing end, as he was pushed back by the force of the impact. Before the ghost could counterattack, a few more holy bolts came flying in. Gritting his teeth he immediately use his shield to block the attack.

Under the non stop a.s.sault, he begin chanting his bone shield spell. Three rotating bones appeared and started spinning around him. With the appearance of the bone shield the ghost begin his counterattack. He immediately dark strike the knight, however his attack was immediately parried.

Next the ghost tried to fire his ice bolt on the mages who were all casting spell at him. But before he could land a hit, the spell was being blocked by the other knights whom were guarding the mages.

After a few minutes of struggling against the group of knights, the heavy skeleton cavalry is almost dead, as most of it's armor were destroyed. Seeing the situation is hopeless, the ghost deactivated his possession and disappeared into the fog. He flew into the mausoleum where the kid is currently at.

"Hey kid, your escorts are here, I have killed all the bandits already, you should be safe now, quickly go to them." the ghost told the kid and he flew up to the dungeon core to get back to the dungeon master room.

Back in the dungeon master room, chibi tried to hug the ghost when he arrive back. Seeing that, he patted her head and said, "I'm back!"
