Reign Of Worm 6 Mr. Acid Centipede

I seem to have fate with these acid centipedes. I mean, thinking back to the not too distant past, without these little guys offering their dead selves to me I never would have gotten the little strength I possess. Doesn't change much though, I'm still going to stomp this guy's a.s.s and eat him. You don't look at David funny.

I say this yet I'm being super ultra extra cautious, making absolutely sure this centipede doesn't see me. I don't want to die, and I read the profile of these things. Nasty little b.u.g.g.e.rs with their poisonous acid. Truly a pain to deal with. Actually, now that I think about it, the ever omnipotent Jeremy might have something to do with this. He's torturing me by making me eat these guys I swear.

Okay okay, I'll stop. Just don't make things too bad okay Mr. Jeremy, the bestest ever system I've ever been graced with. Hehe.

Up ahead, the acid centipede suddenly slows down. s.h.i.t! I might have given myself away. Sure enough, the centipede slowly turns around to look at me. This guy acts like he's straight out of a cringy bad guy movie. He's built like the final boss of a video game too. Seriously, he's like twice the size of the two dead acid centipedes I first encountered, and maybe even four times the little one. Not to mention his claws? I think those are claws. This brings up a question, can every monster in here evolve? The centipede doesn't give me any more time to think.

The acid centipede suddenly lunges his hideous body towards me trying to close the distance. I completely agree with his decision, how else am I supposed to use my mandibles? I'm preparing for a close combat showdown when sudden;y the centipede presents his back end and shoots a glob of acid! I'm barely able to get out of the way when the devious little f.u.c.k gets right up in my face and tries to claw me. Motherf.u.c.ker!

This centipede is really smart! But, I don't have time to think about that, this guy hasn't let up at all, dodging around me and snapping his little claws at my glorious body. As if I'll let him hit me! I'm frantically wiggling, just barely managing to dodge his insidious weaponry, but I can't find an opportunity to fight back! This is bad, and it's getting worse as time goes on. I'm not built for this at all, I have to do something! Think David think. What can I do? Oh, I've got it.

It's gonna be a risky maneuver, but if I don't do something soon, I'll lose this battle. I can't even run, I'm too slow. I'll be dead for sure! Let's do it. At worst I die.

Mind made up, I brace myself for what's to come. I try my best to focus and lock on the movements of my foe, and it works to an extent. I can somewhat make out his movements, and guess where he'll strike next. Here we go. Hope this works. The claw centipede claws at me again, from my left, and I don't dodge this time, shocking my opponent. Ha! Actually ouch! The acid centipede's claw digs right into me, as expected, and gets stuck. My enemy doesn't know what to do, visibly confused. I don't let him suffer for long.

I twist my body almost to its full extent, snapping into the centipede with my mandibles. d.a.m.n, he's tough! My mandibles sink in a little, but that's it. This stuns me for a second, my mandibles cut through the other one so easily, before I snap out of it and start repeatedly digging into the centipede with my mandibles. It takes seven whole strikes before I hear a tone. Not even waiting for the message, I quickly eat the acid centipede's still quite warm body, wolfing it down like I'm starving. Ugh, it's still disgusting.

Oho! What's this? After finishing my meal I take a look at my messages and get a shock! Level stat? I didn't have that? Eh, to be fair I wasn't really paying too much attention to my status. I'll have to pay more attention in the future. Anyway, I gained five life matter from the centipede. Five whole life matter! That's a fortune from one little guy! Though I suppose he was five levels higher than me.

As I'm going over my status, something s.n.a.t.c.hes my attention away. Heat signatures coming in quick! Time to go! I quickly worm my inside of the nearest wall before using my memory to guide me back to home base.
