Soon, he saw the door was already open from outside, and four guards stood outside while shouting at Aaron and others.
'Who are they?' Abium knitted his eyebrows as he arrived near to his house.
Abium soon entered his compound and asked with a frown.
"What do you want? Who are you?"
Instantly, all those four guards shifted their gaze towards his direction, and one of the guards with blonde hair replied coldly. He had thick eyebrows, amber eyes, and wore a regular linen shirt and pants. And on his waist was a long sword hanging along with its sheath.
"I'm Black street's chief guard Jaque. We are arresting these slum kids for entering into a normal civilian's home." Jaque suddenly frowned as he saw Abium's old ragged clothes and continued with a grin on his face, "Oh! It seems you are their leader." But Abium didn't even glance at Jaque's smile and soon arrived in front of those guards.
"I'm this house owner. And they are my students." Shaking his head, Abium said and took out his fake ident.i.ty card, and the doc.u.ment for this house then gave it to Jaque.
As Jaque started reading those doc.u.ments, his expression turned gloomy as he noticed these were original doc.u.ments!
'How did this slum kids have this much money to buy this large-sized house? Did this guy rob some n.o.ble's treasury? Yes! That must be it! There is no way a filthy slum kid could have earned this much money using the normal method. He must have killed some merchants' cavern and robbed it' More he thought about it, Jaque become more convinced that this kid must be a despicable thief or a murderer! Instantly Jaque unsheathed his long sword and spoke in an icy tone while pointing the sword tip at Abium's neck.
"Tell me, brat. Where did you rob this much money to buy this house?" His words made Abium stunned. At the same time, the peoples in the nearby houses also came out and gathered in front of Abium's house entrance. Noticing that, Abium's expression turned cold.
'As comparing to that Guard Palmer, this guy is worthless trash.' Abium knew that although Palmer was just a greedy guy, he didn't act like this when Abium met him outside the city. Abium's anger almost reached its peak as he understood this chief guard's intention!
"Get the h.e.l.l out of my house; otherwise, I will directly report your behavior to the royal administration." Without minding the sword near to his neck, Abium said with cold expression while glancing at those children. He saw those kids were hugging each other in fear, and Wendy was already sobbing with red eyes.
Before Abium went to construct his second spell model, he gave his house's spare key to these kids and told them to come here and continue their training. But he hadn't expected these foolish guards would come and make trouble for them.
'Moreover, if I didn't come here now, I knew these guys might have killed all these kids.' Abium knew the rules and regulations more than anyone else. Slum kids were worthless trashes in these guards' eyes, and if they had found any slum peoples without any ident.i.ty, they have the right to kill them under the kingdom's law. Although Abium was not a saint, he wouldn't allow these types of acts. Soon, Abium noticed other guards' hesitation look and said with a domineering tone.
"If you have evidence that I stole money from others to buy this house, then show it to me." He stopped as he saw all of them don't have any evidence, and he quickly spoke coldly without even hiding his disgust towards them. "Otherwise, scram!"
Abium's word instantly made Jaque's face red in anger, and he immediately thought of thrusting his sword to kill this black-haired kid.
'Should I kill him now? Many eyes are watching our quarrel. But who have the guts to report this to the administration office? Yes! I should kill him and directly change the ownership of this house to my name.' A greedy look appeared in Jaque's eyes. He knew that no one will care about this black-haired kid, even if he kills him now. As he was about to thrust his sword, suddenly, a firm hand gripped his shoulder as he saw that it was his own men who had stopped him.
"Why are you stopping me?" Jaque's expression turned cold as he growled at that guard.
'I'm your chief. You dare to stop my hand?' He glared at that guard with a deep frown, and his eyes were asking him for a proper reason. That guard knew much about Jaque's character, so he instantly replied while giving a slight bow.
"Chief. I think this kid is Slum Borough Pine street's new gang leader." But his words made Jaque's expression to stiffen up, and both of his eyes went wide in shock. At the same time, Aaron and Lillian, who were elders of that kids' group, also froze. They heard of the rumor about a sword fight that had happened between a young kid and a knight a few days ago. So, they now knew who this black-haired guy was and felt nervous inside.
After knowing that the person in front of him was a slum street's new gang leader, Jaque quickly backed away and walked out of Abium's house without hesitation. It's not that he was afraid, but he felt he would be no match for this guy.
Jaque knew there were many ways to make this black-haired kid to disappear from here and soon started to ponder whom he should ask help for. Meanwhile, Abium didn't mind anything and simply nodded at those kids then entered inside his home.
"Don't be so stiff. I will be the one who is going to teach you from now on. So don't hesitate to ask me if there is any question." Abium glanced at Aaron, and Lillian then said with a chuckle.
Soon, all of those kids nodded rapidly and quickly returned to their training.
Meanwhile, Abium simply took out a runic book and started reading.
…
On 22nd March, Somewhere around the eastern sh.o.r.eline, Alastall woodlands.
It was a sunny day. Suddenly, two figures silently flew up in the air towards the sh.o.r.eline from the devil sea.
Behind them was a large shark-like creature following after then with full speed. Soon, both figures landed on the beach sand and removed their hoods. One figure was female, and her height was around 170 cm, had round black eyes, dark blue hair, and wore a black robe like a normal mage.
There was a profound mystery hidden behind her pitch-black eyes. Near to her was a two-meter tall, muscular male figure, and he wore a standard warrior cloth. He had short auburn hair, hooded brown eyes, and triangular eyebrows.
"Girl, where should we go now?" Ulzez asked while glancing at the deep forest in front of them.
"Hmm, if we want to ask help from mages to kill that Blood child, then I think royal capital is the best choice," Aliza said with a sly smile.
"No! Countless peoples will die if Blood child enters that city." Ulzez firmly shook his head. He knew the real horror of this child and thought those normal mages wouldn't have a chance to fight against this Blood child.
Meanwhile, Aliza glanced at him and said with a chuckle. "I heard a third-tier mage protected that city and many other second-tier mages are constantly guarding all the surrounding kingdoms."
Ulzez frowned a bit and soon nodded after a short deliberation. Following that, he took out a blue crystal filled with many runes and mysterious letters and placed silently under the beach sand.
Aliza, on the other hand, simply moved towards the seash.o.r.e and patted her pet shark then uttered a few words in the Nether language! The next instant, the link between her mind and Zethis broke! Without waiting for a moment, Aliza backed away and soon saw that giant shark started to act violently like other creatures.
Sigh!
Aliza simply sighed as she looked at Zethis and quickly walked near Ulzez.
"Come on. Let's go." Ulzez spoke then soon chaotic mana started to surround both of them as he cast a strange spell, and both of them flew towards western direction.
…
On 27th March, 12 Laval street, n.o.bles' Borough.
Baron Auguinare's mansion. It was already midnight at around 2 'o'clock. Helena sat on the ladder-back chair and appeared to be in deep thought in her room. She returned to capital along with Claude and carriage driver Orson yesterday without facing any troubles on the way.
'Ugh, where is he? I can't attend that grand n.o.bles' gathering using this ring.' She frowned deeper and soon sighed helplessly. At the same time, she felt lonely as she remembered Camilla didn't accompany her this time.
'Well, she will be much safer with Lily and Sarah.' She breathed out a sigh of relief and suddenly shifted her oceanic blue eyes towards the opened window. The next instant, her eyes flickered as she stood up from the chair, and quickly the vines growing in the outside garden started to creep towards her room window at a fast speed. At the same time, she threw a few palm-sized seeds on the concrete floor from her spatial ring and started to chant in a strange voice.
"Wait!" But suddenly she heard a familiar voice came from the outside and smiled as she identified whose voice that belongs to. With a pale face, Abium slowly jumped inside from outside. He now wore a black robe, had black hair instead of blonde, and his appearance looks more like a human than a Royal elf.
"Abi? Why are you coming here like a thief? Also, why are you disguised yourself?" She asked with a frown while giving him a suspicious look.
"I came here to tell you a few things," Abium said as he quietly sat on the bed while Helena sat back on the ladder-back chair.
As Abium noticed her questionable gaze, he quickly took out a few things and placed it on her bed. Following that, he started to speak as he stared back at her,
"Helena, you will be the one who is going to attend the grand n.o.bles' gathering in my stead. Just use your original ident.i.ty and tell them you are my representative." As Abium finished his words, he took out his firebird n.o.ble seal and gave it to her.
"What about you?" Helena took that n.o.ble seal from him and asked while knitting her eyebrows sharply.
"I have other works to do. Also, tomorrow's Grand n.o.bles' gathering will be more chaotic, so you have to be more careful." Abium said and quickly took out a large scroll from the spatial ring and tossed it to her.
"What is it?" Once again, Helena gave a puzzled expression as she caught that scroll and quickly inspected it. Soon, her expression went serious as she noticed it was a second-tier spell scroll!
"It is a Wind blade second-tier spell scroll. Use it when the situation becomes worse." Said Abium, then took out another four scrolls along with a few high tier magic stones from his ring as he added. "These four scrolls are first-tier attack spells."
Yesterday, Lady Tabitha had informed him through the communication rune that those second-tier spell scrolls were already ready. After he got those second-tier spell scrolls, he also brought a few extra first-tier scrolls for Helena and paralysis potions, crossbows, and other few things for himself. He thought he needs those when he starts his plan tomorrow.
"Why do I need these?" Helena gave him a puzzled look and asked.
At the same time, Abium made a quick scan at Helena and got deeply impressed inside. 'Helena seems to be growing stronger. Hmm, her spirit also reached 15 in a short amount of time. It must be due to that world tree leaf.' Abium thought to himself and soon replied to Helena's question without hiding anything.
"Tomorrow, there will be some necromancers who are planning to attack during the grand n.o.ble gathering at the royal castle. Although it would be just for a distraction, those necromancers will definitely make the whole banquet mess." Abium stopped for a second and soon continued as he thought of something. "There will be more than 20 apprentice necromancers, a few first-tier necromancers, and one or two second-tier necromancers who will attack during the gathering." His words didn't cause Helena to be anxious. Instead, she silently sat there while listening to him.
"What is their motive?" After a short deliberation, Helena leaned back at the ladder-back chair and asked while raising her eyebrows.
"I don't know what those necromancers real motive is, but I'm sure it won't be good," Abium said with a sigh, and he quickly thought of her progress and asked curiously. "How is your progress in nature magic?"
As if she was expecting this question, Helena straightens her back as she stood up and quickly chanted a few mystical words while throwing a few seeds on the ground. The next instant, all those seeds started to grow into green vines at an unimaginable speed and beginning to move towards everywhere inside her room.
Within a moment, her whole bedroom was filled with numerous dark green vines and strange pink-colored flowers while emitting an unusual odor. But what made Abium's eyes widen in shock was, he felt a strong dizzy feeling and saw Helena's multiple images everywhere.
'Illusion? No! These plants are making me hallucinate.' Confirmed Abium with a pale expression and soon felt his surroundings starting to spin quickly. Along with a loud thud, Abium fell on the ground and soon begun to snort loudly in Helena's room.
Meanwhile, Helena looked at Abium with a wide gaped mouth for a few seconds and didn't know what to say.
"I thought Medusa seeds wouldn't do any effect on a mage, but it seems I was wrong." Finally, Helena nodded in enlightenment and splashed a bottle of cold water on Abium's face with an amusing smile on her face. It was her first time seeing Abium with a blushing face and felt amused.
Soon, Abium woke up from the sudden dream and almost shouted at Helena with red eyes. Because that dream was filled with beautiful naked ladies laid on the bed, calling him with a seducing look on their face! He had never seen so many lovely ladies in his past life and almost seduced by their beauty! As he was about to move towards the large luxurious bed, he suddenly felt a dam of cold water poured on from that bedroom's door and soon walking him up in the real world.
Finally, Abium's whole body tensed up as he understood that it was just a dream and felt shivered inside while giving a piercing glare at Helena.
"What the h.e.l.l was that?" He asked her with slight fear in his eyes. Even he didn't understand why he acted in his dream like that when those ladies called him with seductive looks. Although he didn't have much interaction with women in the past, he felt something was definitely wrong about Helena's spell and trembled.
Meanwhile, Helena simply nodded at him with a bright smile on her face and spoke.
"It is a new druid spell called Nature's command. But for casting this spell, I need different types of plant's seeds with a unique ability like poison, hallucination, paralysis, seductive odor, etc. This spell will allow me to strengthen those abilities' effects and make me stronger during fights. But whenever I cast these nature spells, that leaf is telling me to move towards the north."
Abium was startled a little and soon thought of something then said.
"It must be that world tree leaf's work. Once we settle everything here, we can go to the elven kingdom and ask for help from the elves to teach you more about the Druid pathway."
Abium quickly calmed down and shifted his thoughts towards the royal elven family.
'But going to the Elven kingdom will definitely going to be a big problem. A royal elf appearing out of nowhere will definitely cause chaos. Well, I will deal with them later.' Abium sighed and quickly warned Helena to become more careful during the gathering.
"Okay. I'll be careful then." Helena quickly nodded. After asking a few things about the situation in the territory, Abium silently left the mansion without alerting anyone.
After a few minutes, Abium arrived in front of Merchant's main street stealthily and soon saw two figures looking towards his direction from the entrance gate of the Orchid auction house. Due to the darkness, Abium couldn't able to see their faces clearly but already guessed who they were.
'Well, it seems they are waiting for me.'
Abium quickly removed his disguise and walked in as the guard opened the main gate.
"Mage Abium, did you brought any good news?" Tabitha's silvery voice came, and Abium simply nodded his head in response.
"Good." Another gruff voice came from the nearby muscular man that made Abium's brow to raise a bit. Soon, Abium arrived in front of them and saw his face clearly with the help of the dim light from the nearby lamp. He had thin black hair, bright eyes, appears to be around 45 years old, and had a pale face.
"This is Mage Ubius," Tabitha said as she pointed her finger at Mage Ubius as Abium also identified him instantly.
"Nice to meet you, Sir." Abium quickly gave a respectful bow and spoke with a polite tone. At the same time, Abium scanned both Tabitha's and Ubius's status to know more about these second-tier mages.
'Although they won't find me if I scan them, I still feel a little anxious.' Because of that reason, Abium didn't dare to scan second-tier mages or those second-tier necromancers. Silently, a minute amount of spiritual power came out from his body and soon crept towards every direction.
"Its a pleasure meeting you as well." Meanwhile, Ubius glanced at him up and down and replied with a soft smile on his face. But Abium's expression turned serious as he saw the status of Mage Ubius and Lady Tabitha.

'Heh, these are the status of second-tier mages, huh. Hmm, it appears Lady Tabitha and Mage Ubius had already managed to finished constructing all of their second-tier spells. They must have solely used all their time in that empty void and started increasing their spirit. But it appears the shackle placed on them have stopped their improvement.' Instantly, Abium enlightened as he read those status details.
Soon, Abium noticed they still appear to be waiting for someone, and he also joined them and stood there outside silently. At the same time, he saw a carriage stood there inside the auction house's compound.
'It seems meeting is not here.' Abium nodded in understanding.
"I heard you are a bit special from Zivior and Tabitha. So, how many first-tier spells did you managed to create?" Suddenly, Ubius turned his pale face and asked jokingly.
'It appears second-tier mages only able to sense the spells models of apprentices.' Abium nodded his head in enlightenment and replied quickly with a proud smile on his face.
"I managed to construct two spell models, Sir." But once they heard his reply, both of them abruptly froze for a second as they seem to be heard shocking news!
"Haha, I knew you have more secrets than just luck, kid." Tabitha broke into a burst of laughter and said with a chuckle. Meanwhile, Ubius also nodded without hiding his shocking expression. At the same time, suddenly, a middle-aged figure with a red robe and black hood ran towards their direction while shouting in apology. His height was average, which made it look like he was just a regular citizen.
"Old hag, Ubius, Sorry I'm late again." Soon, he arrived in front of them and stopped for a second as he saw Abium's face. He had straight black hair, deep blue eyes, olive-skinned round face, and had elongated, thick eyebrows. He was none other than Abium's Teacher Zivior.
"Long time no see, Teacher," Abium said with a wide grin on his face as he saw his Teacher Zivior. Zivior stood there with a stunned expression on his face and seemed to forget what to say. After a long silence, he asked while gazing at Tabitha and Ubius.
"What the h.e.l.l is my student doing here?" As he met with no response, Zivior quickly shifted his gaze towards Abium and said while narrowing his eyebrows.
"I thought you went to built your territory, kid." As Abium was about to explain, Tabitha raised her hand and patted on his shoulder.
"Let's go. I will explain in detail while we are on the way to the meeting place." Tabitha said then moved towards the carriage.
With a nod, others quickly followed after her, and one by one, all of them entered that luxurious carriage.
