"You possess earth magic," I say by bringing it up. "Don't you want to learn other elements?"
"Alicia took the apt.i.tude test" answers the girl. "You don't have much talent for the other elements."
There are four basic elements of magic, water, earth, fire and air. Usually a person is born with an apt.i.tude for one of them, but may acquire the others with a little more difficulty. There are also cases of those who already have apt.i.tude for more than one, demonic races, such as vampires, usually have for all, except water, since it has elements of light magic in it.
I hear movement noises coming from inside the cave, it's time to fight again.
"Let's clean up this dungeon for good," I say rising.
"Yep." Alicia follows me.
After this next cleaning it will take time for the power to acc.u.mulate again, so there is no point in staying here too long. The battle didn't last long, the biggest difficulty was with the orcs, we had to go back to the beginning of the cave at times. In the end the majority of the monsters of this dungeon were of the lower cla.s.s, it may be that it has already been exploited, but abandoned later, because of the fact that it is so.
Alicia said she preferred me to kill everyone, since my level was low. Although your good intention feels a slight pain when you receive these words. It was like someone was calling me noob. In the end the results were that I won two thousand nine hundred and twenty-one xp belt. Thirteen level one goblins, I got seven hundred and eighty xp with them. Six level two goblins, I got one hundred and twenty xp from them. Three level two orcs, they gave me one thousand three hundred and fifty xp. Finally a level-three orc, I got six hundred and seventy-five.

There are still more than 6,000 more to go than that, and that's a bit of a disappointment.
"So we're going?" I ask after recovering from the last battle.
"Orc." Alicia pulls me through the shirt.
I look back, I thought one of them had stayed alive, but I don't see anything strange.
"What about them?" I ask.
"High quality meat." She answers.
This can only be some kind of joke from those G.o.ds, there's no other way. I never wanted to swear so much as when I heard that, but I couldn't waste such meat, deep down I really wanted to taste it.
The first thing we did on the way back to the beach was light the fire. At the moment my soul was crying. Even without any spice, that meat was really delicious. It's a joke. A bad joke and very tasty.
"Ioan, I have a question." Alicia asks while we eat.
"You can talk" I'll bite a piece of meat.
"Your eyes, they're not red." says the girl.
For a moment I get confused, but then I understand your doubt. Vampires usually have red eyes, I understand your strangeness.
"We vampires don't have red eyes when we're born," I explain to her. "They get that color only after drinking human blood for the first time."
She seems a little apprehensive at first, but then she talks again.

"Ioan..." Alicia looks at the ground for a while. "Don't you want to drink human blood?"
"Actually, I can't say..." I think about it a little bit. "To this day I've only drunk blood from animals and monsters I hunted."
I try not to talk too much about humans, after all, at the moment I am a vampire, although I am closer to humans I also have a connection with monsters. The demonic races are almost monsters, even though they have a distinction between them. I have no problem with killing a human almost being necessary, but feeding on one is still strange to me.
"Leaving that aside..." I try to change the subject. "What's the next goal?"
"Goal?" Alicia seems a little confused.
"Well, my initial goal is to register as an adventurer." I'm starting to explain to her. "And in the future go to the city of Tot, but now that I'm with Alicia I want to know what you want to do."
"What does Alicia want?" She seemed strangely shocked by the question.
I see a little tear come down your face. Wait a minute, did I do something wrong?
"Eh... eh? What's the matter? Why are you crying?" I ask, I get a little desperate.
"It's just... that..." Not being able to contain her tears, she begins to cry.
Did I just make her cry? I don't even know what I did wrong. I try to say a few things, but nothing is effective. After a little less than two minutes she can control her crying.
"I'm sorry..." says sniffling. "It's just that... Alicia never had a chance to think of something like that. After Alicia's illness, I thought only of her face... When Ioan asks what Alicia wanted, the memories began to come back."
She talked between one fungus and another. All that was stored inside her.
"It's all right, now start thinking a little more about it" I say. "We must also do what Alicia wants."
We spent the rest of the day preparing for the rest of the trip. According to my calculations, we'll still spend at least three days at sea. We are looking for some fruit trees, fish can only be eaten on the first day, maybe on the second day with a little effort. While Alicia was picking edible fruits I focused on catching fish for today and tomorrow.
Two kinds of fruit were picked by her. The first one was Moha, it had a strange bluish colour, but when it tasted like blackberry, it looked a lot like blackberry. The second was the banana, which turned out to be somewhat disappointing when compared to the previous one. The banana was just like my old world, though a little sweeter than I remembered.
"I'm glad Alicia's here," I say after she tells me a little bit about the fruit. "My knowledge is still limited."
"Alicia is happy to be of help." She says smiling.
She seemed completely recovered, she is a girl who does not show many expressions, so she ends up looking more mature than she really is, but seeing her like this really looks just like an ordinary child.
"Come to think of it... How old are you?" I ask Alicia.
"Twelve" answers.
"Really?" I speak quite emphatically.
"Alicia's not a child" answers by pouting.
She seems to be a little angry about it, I'm sorry, but I end up laughing.
However, this is shocking news, she seemed to have something around eight or nine years old, but taking into account the things she's been through, they may have affected her growth, as when young people enter the academy before finishing the growth phase. Food is also an extremely important part, I have to ensure that it feeds well from now on.
"I'm sorry" I say.
She's warming her chest while doing a V-sign with her fingers. You seem to be proud of your age.
"How old is Ioan?" he asks.
It makes sense that she asked me, after all, I asked her first. Stopping to think about my age... Does the time I spent in my original world count or not? Technically my mind must be something like twenty-two years old, I had died at twenty-one, probably my birthday is over. But my level wouldn't agree, so I'd better stay with the age of the body.
"I guess about three months," I answer after I think.
"So Alicia's the oldest." The girl even seems to shine after finding out. "Does that make me your senpai?"
Even that term exists around here. f.u.c.king otakus G.o.ds.
By night Alicia tried to send me to sleep. He said something like 'Senpai will take care of you,' but ended up sleeping half an hour after saying that. Today again he held my hand in his sleep. I'm afraid she'll catch some bad habit, but I think it's okay for now.
~POV Chloe~
It's been two days since Ioan left. I thought the training would be more solitary, but the soldiers, who started training with me at the time Ioan was here, continued even after his departure.
"I really hate the army," says Moura.
"After Lucio is what I hate most," adds Wallace.
"Then they shouldn't have come back!" shouts Chloe.
The two of them have decided to return to the army. When I asked them why they told me 'We have to be strong to protect it', which was strange, since they always said they were too strong for the army, maybe seeing Ioan fighting, even at the low level, must have shown them that they were not as strong as they thought.
"You five, I need to talk to you." A captain talks to them.
That was the captain in charge of today's training. The three of us and the two soldiers who were training with us were called. For some reason we were taken out of the kingdom when we reached a long distance away from him.
"Here's good" says turning around and looking at them.
"You really brought them." A male voice said.
"Just as I had ordered, Mr. Vlad." The captain speaks by bowing to a tree on the left.
Behind this tree comes a vampire. His skin was as white as the original, long white hair, vibrant red eyes. I felt a strong aura emanating from her body when I realized she was paralyzed.
"I'm sorry about that." Vlad says approaching.
Our bodies return to normal, but my body still remembered that pressure, I couldn't stop shaking. The one in front of me is the one who turned Lucio into a vampire, head of the Ilie family, Vlad Ilie.
"Unfortunately, I ended up losing the rookie, but you'll be useful to me." Those are the last words I hear before I lose consciousness.
~POV Alicia~
Alicia's on the boat with Ioan now, after two days on that island. Looking at Ioan Alicia realizes how blessed she was these days. When he met her he thought he was just like the others, he would try to trick her somehow to hurt her, but he not only took care of her, he also made her his partner, although he still treats her like a child.
"What is it?" He asks, noticing the look.
"Nothing... nothing." Alicia talks fast.
He ended up getting lost in his thoughts and staring at him. Alicia is very grateful, but for some reason she feels very ashamed to speak frankly to him.
"Alicia's no good..." she says alone.
Turning his gaze to Ioan, he realizes something. The sun was rising behind him. How long has it been since I've seen the sun? Almost a week, it was born just like at dawn. The sun's rays. .h.i.t his skin, it was comfortable. So she remembers something, sunshine, vampires. Ioan is a vampire!
"Get down." Alicia screams jumping on Ioan.
The two of them fall on their backs on the boat, almost turning it around.
"The... What is it?" Ioan asks a frightened question.
"Sun..." She tries to stay on top of him. "Ioan will disappear."
Some time goes by, but nothing happens. Something was wrong.
"It's true, the resistance doesn't show up normally, my mistake." Ioan laughs. "Authorize shows complete status."
When someone authorizes your status you may want to hide something, anything you don't want to show will disappear, but with the full show there is no way to hide something.
Alicia looks at her resistances, one of which was called MAX Sun Resistance.
Alicia quickly realizes her mistake.
""A... Alicia's sorry," he says, getting off of him quickly.
Ioan begins to laugh, which makes Alicia's face even more red.
"Don't worry, I'm glad you cared about me," says Alicia. "Really, thank you."
The sun appears on his back, as if the world itself were illuminating Ioan. Like an angel,' that's what Alicia thought, then she feels her face warm.
