" I'm Kami. The 'G.o.d' that grants your wish. '' Darwin said. Without any feeling shown, the noun 'G.o.d' is nothing but a name to him. Darwin did not have any pride in the position of being a Kami. An existence that stands on the top of the food chain pyramid.

" Kami? " Levi confuses.

" Yes, we met at the cafe last time. " Darwin answers.

" At the cafe? " Levi asks.

" And last night. " Darwin continue.

" Last night? What are you talking about! " Levi screams, " This is my dream, this must be a dream! I am sleeping! You're in my dream and I demand you to disappear! Right NOW! "

Darwin suddenly disappears.

" I knew it! It's just a dream… I knew it. " just when Levi thought everything is over, then Darwin shows himself again.

" Indeed, this is your dream. However, I'm not part of your dream. " Darwin answers, " This is a brand new s.p.a.ce. In this s.p.a.ce; matter, time, idea knowledge, everything that is exposed to the human does not exist. Just me and you. "

" What! Why are you here! What is going on! " Levi in shock.

Darwin ignores Levi's question and continues, " During the time before Archean, there exists a time period called Epithymia, it is a time period that everything is possible. Unlike now, during Epithymia, people don't need to work; life only exists happiness. Whatever people want, people make it them self. The average IQ of everyone in the world is above 195. There is nothing people can't make. Therefore the world doesn't need to work to buy the thing that other people make because the people can make it them self. "

" What! Before Archean, there is still no life form exist yet! " Levi debates.

" There is! Your science is still not advanced enough to know it yet. " Darwin replies, " It's a shame that the sons of YanHuang did not inherit his high IQ genes, only the desires are left behind. " Darwin answers.

" YanHuang? What are you talking about! " Levi asks

" He is a scientist with an IQ of 303. Due to the fact that people in the Epithymia did not have any motivation to work nor to create new things. Scientists create machines for the people to generate desires so that the people will have the desire to create motivation. Unfortunately, desire overtakes the people; turning them into monsters. War is the major factor that leads to the end of Epithymia. When scientists find out that the world can not handle the aftermath of endless wars. They immediately create a life form that can survive under the harshest condition to last on the race. After the radiation annihilates all the living creature on the planet; as time pa.s.ses on, the life form that was created by the scientist slowly starting to evolve. Then it becomes the first single cell then become the first life on the planet. The Giants, they were big and strong, but the world is destroyed there is nothing for them to feed on. They die from hunger. Then the second single cell that isolates from the Giant evolves into a brand new life form, the Lilliputians, they are small and fast. they are able to eat the food that the giants left behind. However, due to the fact that they are very small, therefore, when the natural disaster comes; once again they died. Again, another single cell isolates from the bodies of the Lilliputians. Then again they evolve. This time they are not small nor big; it is just the right size to live on the planet. It is the ape-man. Unfortunately, after many years and a dozen revolutions, the intelligence of these ape-men are not as high as the Epithymianians before. They are dumb and violence, still carries the DNA that contains desire in it. They die form killing each other. The third time, the single cell isolates from the ape-men. Finally, a man was created. Fortunately, the man was not as big as the giants, it was not small like the Lilliputians, and significantly contains signs of a little higher intelligence than the ape-men. " Darwin explains the whole history of the human race before it ends.

" Okay. Let's a.s.sume that we are men as you said. Why can you create a s.p.a.ce that contains no time, matter and all the other c.r.a.p! " Levi screams.

" I'm no longer human… Not anymore. " Darwin answers, " You have signed a contract with me. Do you recall that? "

" Contract? what are you taking…" Levi starts to remember the contract that Darwin is talking about. " The contract I signed in my dream last night? "

" Yes. Looks like you still remembers. " Darwin said.

" It was not a contract! I don't know what it was! " Levi debates

Darwin takes a paper, it states Levi's name and his fingerprint.

" It is a contract. " Darwin said.

" If I don't admit it you can't do anything about it. " Levi plays dumb.

" Okay. " Darwin replies. Then smiles, " I hope you don't regret it. "

" Not in a thousand years! " just after Darwin disappears. Levi's heart starting to pound faster and faster; then all the sudden, an unexplainable pain strikes Levi. It feels like a needle is sewing on his heart, slowly and powerfully. Levi drops down on the floor in his bedroom. He can't think of a single thing; the only feeling he has is the pain he is experiencing in his heart. It is like bullets are going through, one after one, none stop.

" Oh, dear Levi. " Darwin looks down at Levi, put up with a playful smile, " How are you doing? "

" He…Help… " Levi begs.

" Dear Levi, my dear friend! I'm sorry! I can't help you because you want the contract. Do you remember what the doctor told you? " Darwin pause then walk up to the chair in front of Levi, and sits, " You can't have any s.e.xual intercourse! Remember? "

" … " Levi open his eyes wide.

" Oh, looks like you forgot! I can't do anything other than steer and watch you die! What a shame! Another human die because of desire! " Darwin continues to ridicule Levi.

" O…okay…I…I…wi…will…sigh…the… con…contract… " Levi cries. He can't talk normally because the pain is overtaking Levi, but a little bit of desire for survival keeps him alive.

" Oops! Sorry! I think you just miss the deadline for the contract. " Darwin laughs.

" No…!…I will do…do any…anything… " Levi begs.

" Anything? " Darwin squints his eyes. " Are you willing to give up your most precious thing in exchange for your life? "

" Yes! " Levi scream out loud.

" Thank you so much, my dear Levi! " Darwin snaps his finger, the contract lits on fire.

As the contract is being burned down by the fire, Levi's pain starts to fade away.

" Your wish is granted! " Darwin smiles, " I've replaced your sick heart with 'the heart of candle'; you can now have endless s.e.x, and you will not die. "

" Thank you! Thank you so much! Kami! " Levi thanks.

" No need, it is just business. " Darwin replies, " You will be harmless under one condition. From now on, you have no right to love! The love will lit on your candle and burn down the candle. When the candle dies out, so will you. "

" Yes, yes, yes. " Levi replies, " I understand. Thank you so much, Mr. Kami! "

" No, thank you for the business! " Darwin looks at Levi with despise, " My name is Darwin. I'm a Kami, a G.o.d; devil's servant! "

" Darwin! Kami! A G.o.d! Devil's servant! " Levi repeats in shock.

After the shock, Levi comes back to reality. Noticing Darwin is gone.

As we all know, G.o.d is someone that has the unexplainable power and willing to help people; and the Devil is someone that also has the unexplainable power and also willing to help people. Here comes the question, what is the difference between G.o.d and Devil?

In our perception, G.o.d is good, and the Devil is bad. Why? Many will answer, G.o.d doesn't harm people, but Devil does.

No! Devil don't harm people just he feels like it. He helps whoever seeks help, but he has a price. A price that suits everyone. He doesn't do any harm to people unless the person cheats on him. For instance, gets help from him, but doesn't want to pay price.

It is like a sick person goes to the doctor, asks the doctor to help him. After the doctor cures him, the person needs to pay the doctor for his service. If the person doesn't pay the doctor, he will face a terrible consequence. For example, going to jail, get sue, or maybe worse; not cure him the next time he comes to seek help again. Everything that people want needs to pay the price; there is no free lunch in the world. The devil gives and in return will get what he is promised to get.

G.o.d and Devil are basically the same; except the devil is more realistic. G.o.d only exists in the world of fantasy where things are free and only happiness exists. People always say to live in a realistic world, criticizes the reality because it gets in their way. It is pathetic that people laugh at other's fantasy dreams, but holds on tightly to the dream of their own.

Kami, Darwin, is the person who helps people that seek help, but also ignore the ones that demand him to help. He is a Kami, not a babysitter.
