THE CONTRACT : AN UNDYING LOVE 4 Chapter Four

People are usually happy and excited when they're getting married. But I'm just here, alone in this room, doing my makeup by myself, no friends, n.o.body to talk to. The dress is really beautiful and you can tell very expensive.

I know this marriage is fake but I couldn't help but wish someone was here, someone I can talk to, laugh with or do whatever they do before wedding. I don't know what my ring look like, even tho Chase asked me what size I use two days ago, I still wanted to see it before the wedding tho.

I was done with my makeup, I just applied powder, mascara and lipstick and was about wearing my dress when I heard a knock. That must be Jason I thought.

"Come in" I said lazily, with no smile at all. I turn to look at Jason but it wasn't Jason. It was a girl.

A tall, beautiful girl. She kinda look familiar tho but I don't know where.

"Hi, I'm Jessica, you can call me Jessy. Chase's sister" the beautiful dark haired girl said. Chase's sister. No wonder she looked familiar.

"Oh uhm hi, I'm Amaya" I said giving her my hand to shake.

"Of course I know. You're the beautiful girl my brother is going to marry. Sorry I didn't meet you earlier, I've not been around. Now, let's get you ready" she said, dropping her purse, and putting her hair on a loose ponytail. She sat me down and turn the chair to face the mirror.

"Let's see...." She said, turning my face in different sides, as if measuring my face.

"Close your eyes, and do not open them unless I told you so" she said, picking up some makeup materials to use on my face.

I guess she does makeups, but I hope she doesn't over do it tho.

I smiled and do as I was told.

About 15minutes later, she asked me to open my eyes and look in the mirror. I did.

"Wow Jessy I look amazing, thank you so much" I said standing up and hugging her. She hugged me back, and she smiled.

"Come on, put on your dress, its almost time"

"Okay" I replied. Then I started to wear my dress. When I was done, Philip and Jason came in to call us out.

"Wow Amy, you look beautiful" Jason said to me, smiling.

"Thank you brother, you dont look bad yourself" I wink.

Jessy handed me my flower and I started to walk outside.

The music were playing and all eyes were on me. I was nervous, I was scared I may slip and fall. I focused my eyes on Chase. He was wearing a black suit, that hugged his body perfectly and he look so handsome. I tried not to look at the crowd. Getting there, Chase smiled at me. He actually smiled at me.

This time I got a really good look at his features, his grey eyes, brown hair, full brows, light pink lips and perfect shaped jawline and white teeth. he was really handsome.

We said our vows, exchanged our rings and it was time to kiss. Awkward.... Chase bowed to my height and kissed me. It was fast and soft. I was staring with my eyes bulging out and he just smirked at me.

After sometime we ate and danced, I was introduced to his father and he was nice to me. I wonder why tho. He told me about his wife, Chase's mother's death. It was painful and sad. Chase must have been down at that time.

After the celebration people were starting to leave. I was tired and exhausted. I looked for Jason but I couldn't find him. I wonder where he went.

"Hey" someone said behind me, I turned and it was Chase.

"Hey" I replied.

"Are you tired? Philip is going to drop us home now"

"Sure, let's go"

I started to dial Jason's number, after a few rings he picked up

"Hey, where are you?"

"Oh Amy I'm with friends, don't worry I'll come home soon. Don't worry about me"

"Friends? Since when do you have friends?" I asked him

"I'm 9 not a baby. I can make friends you know" I sighed

"Okay, I give you one hour to be home" with that we ended the call.

"Uhm Philip can you bring my brother back in an hour please, I can't leave him all by himself to come home?" I asked Philip, dropping out of the car.

"Okay Madam"

"Thank you" I smiled.

Undressing I got in, to wash up and rest.

"Okay, good. I'll call you tomorrow" I hear Chase said, on the phone I think. I got out from my room to see who he's talking to. I got to the parlour and saw Chase standing there shirtless, only on his trousers. He turned to me and I almost fell trying to hide my face.

"Can I help you!" He asked, dropping his phone on the table close to him and putting his hands inside his pocket.

"Uhm no, sorry I was just uhm trying to get water to drink" I stuttered and turning to the kitchen. Its almost 7pm and i was beginning to get hungry. Shortly after I thought of food my stomach growled.

Chase was still standing there and looking at me, I tried to hide my face from embarra.s.sment. I checked the fridge and it was piled up with foods of different kinds. Growls again.

"If you're hungry just eat. I'm off to bed" Chase said and turned to leave. But he stopped, why is he stopping? He turned and walked towards me, I was standing close to the opened fridge. He walked slowly and to my front, he placed one hand above my right shoulder, his breath hitting my face, his face so close to my face, my feet was numb, he bent down closer, he was staring at my lips, his breath was constantly hitting my face, he opened his mouth to say something maybe but he reached the fridge and grab a milk with his left hand.

"Gotcha" he said without moving his eyes from mine. He just smirked and left.

Why does he have that effect on me? I just stood there with my mouth open. He definitely did that on purpose.

I just picked something to eat and left for my room. On my way I decided to check on Jason. I knocked but no answer I opened the door gently and saw that he was asleep, I closed the door back and left.

After eating, I decided to use my laptop and about 30minutes after, I plugged it and let the sleep take me....

Morning

I woke up quite late, I've never slept this much in a while, I've always had to wake up to cook, prepare for work or something. But today I'm awake and it almost 10am. Wow!

I got up and walked into the bathroom, the beautiful bathroom I now own, in this beautiful house I now live in. I smiled at the thought of that, but I think I have to work. I can't just stay in door all day everyday. I'll talk to Chase about it.

After brushing and taking my bath, I came out drying my hair. My stomach growled. Urgh I'm hungry.

I quickly dry my hair, searching for what to wear. Its Sunday so it's not as if I have anywhere to go. I decided to wear my pajamas and just go out to eat. No plans what so ever!

Chase's POV

I woke up this Morning and the first thing that popped into my head was Amaya. Last night I don't know what happened. I wanted to kiss her, I was so close to doing so but immediately I grabbed the first thing my hand touched, Milk. I don't want to have anything to do with her, she's not my type and she married me only for money. That's what all girls do. That's what Angie did, she was with me because of my money and now Amaya is too. I have to avoid her and try not to want to kiss her again.

Getting up I decided to go for a run. I grabbed my shirt and I left. About 45minutes later, I was returning home. I got in, sweaty and wet. I decided to make something to drink. I was perceiving something nice and delicious.

Since when do these cooks, cook so nice? They cook well, but I'm sure I've never perceived something like this. I walk to the kitchen and I was hearing humming. It was Amaya, she was cooking again. I didn't wanted her to know I was there so I walked slowly and quietly, leaning by the door with my hands folded.

She was dancing to whatever song she was humming at, and wow she was cute. Whoa whoa whoa, why am I thinking she's cute? Something is definitely wrong with me.

I cleared my throat and that made her jump, making the pancake on the plate she's holding fall on the floor.

"Oh I'm sorry I uhm just, I uh sorry, I- I I'll help with that" I stuttered. G.o.d, I never stutter never, I make people stutter not the other way round. I picked the pancake and put it inside the garbage can. Luckily only one fell.

"Its okay, there's more to eat" she said, putting more pancakes on the plate.

I just stared at her.

"Are you hungry?" She asked me and I wanted saying no, but my stomach growled. Embarra.s.sing!

I just nodded, making her smile.

"I'll go change" I said to her and I left. I washed up and changed into something comfy. When I got out I met the table already set, Jason and Amaya were laughing at something they said. They looked close. I sat down and started to serve myself.

"Why didn't you allow the maids to cook?" I asked out of the blue.

"Well, I love cooking and I didn't have anything to do so, I wanted to cook" she answered placing some food inside her mouth.

"She loves food, cooking makes her happy" Jason said, laughing. Causing Amaya to hit him. I laughed at that, and they both turned to look at me. Clearing my throat I began to eat, and the pancakes were very very nice.

We finished eating and Jason cleared the table. I stood up to leave but Amaya called me.

I turned to her and she looked nervous.

"Uhm I was wondering since I now live here, I don't have anything doing, so why don't you give me a place to work? You know, so that I won't be bored and I'll have something doing?" She said. Finally breathing out. She wants to work?

"No" was all I said, and turned to leave.

"Ookkayy that was straight" she said. And I left.

There's no way she'll be working, because my Dad doesn't know about the contract, n.o.body does. So I can't let her work, before the paparazzi start to bug her and start digging and before you know it, things will be out. And I'm gonna lose my life for that.

I can't let that happen.

We're at a club now, Justin my best friend and I.

We usually come here to have some fun and have some ladies. I come here to get wasted. And that's what I'm gonna do tonight, tho I can't bring a girl to my house because of my wife.

"My wife" wow I never thought I'd say that. I laughed.

I'll have to go to the hotel.

"Hey man how's the married life going for you?" Justin shouted because of the loud music playing. He was laughing now. I just shake my head, and stood up to dance with any girl.

"Where you going" Justin shouted again.

"To dance" I shout back.

Few minutes later I was kissing this girl, outside the club, inside my car. I was drunk. I drove to a hotel and we started to make out.

I couldn't stop myself from thinking about Amaya. That's frustrating.

"I need to use the bathroom" I said to her and i got inside the bathroom. When I was done I came out but I couldn't find the girl. Great, I don't have her number or even know her name I thought to myself. I can still drive home.

"Where's my wallet?" d.a.m.n, this girl is dead. She stole my wallet. I picked my car keys and I started to stumble. I have to call Phillip to come take me home.

I tried dialling his number, it was blurry and I couldn't see well.

"h.e.l.lo, Chase?" Chase? Why does Philip sound like a girl? I must be pretty drunk.

"Hey man, can you pick me up in the hotel? I brought this girl here and she stole my wallet and I think I'm too drunk to drive, I can't even feel my legs" I said to Philip and I hung up.

"What the h.e.l.l Chase?" I opened my eyes to the voice but it was too dark so I closed them back and I fell asleep...

Amaya's POV

Chase isn't back and its almost 10pm. I know he isn't my real husband but I can't just sleep without knowing of his whereabout. He's a billionaire and people might want to do bad things to him.

I couldn't sleep.

Shortly my phone rang, oh thank goodness its Chase.

"h.e.l.lo, Chase?" I said but he was silent.

"Hey man, can you pick me up in the hotel? I brought this girl here and she stole my wallet and I think I'm too drunk to drive, I can't even feel my legs" Chase said and he hung up.

I was dumbfounded, he was out with some girl? And I was worried sick about him? Hotel? I felt like c.r.a.p, I felt like crying. Of course I can't have a normal life with him.

I remembered we went to this hotel to sign the contract, maybe that's where he was. I drove there immediately and I told the receptionist I was picking my husband. She didn't allow me in but after so much pleading she decided she'll have to follow me in. She got the room number and we got inside. I met Chase on the floor with his phone in his hands.

"What the h.e.l.l Chase?" I said to him, he looked up but went back to sleep again. I had to pick him up with the help of the receptionist who later believed me because she knows Chase and she saw us together the other time.

On getting home I laid him down on his bed and let him sleep, he has explanations to do when he wakes.
