THE CONTRACT : AN UNDYING LOVE 13 Chapter Thirteen

I feel so guilty right now. What I did today was so stupid and unjust.

I know the contract said no restrictions for my s.e.xual life but I feel so guilty.

I guess Amy was in her room, I turn the lights on and almost got a heart attack when I saw Amaya sitting on the couch. Her back to me, I didn't know what to say.

"Hey" I said but no answer. I guess she must be mad at me. I walk to her front and luckily she was asleep.

I exhaled.

Picking her up and taking her to the room, she jerked and her eyes went open.

"Hey" I said, dropping her on the bed. She yawns and stretches.

"Where have you been?" She asks out of sleepy face.

"I uhm had some business to attend to, I'm sorry I didn't let you know about it" I lied.

"But why didn't you reply all my messages, I sent you a couple of message didn't you get them?" She asks, concern and now I feel even more guilty.

"My battery was dead" I lied again.

"Come on, go to bed we'll talk tomorrow" I try excusing myself.

"But its Sat.u.r.day" she wines like a baby and that made her look cute.

"Don't worry just sleep" I said, chuckling and putting the covers over her and she just fell asleep immediately.

I walk out and had a shower before going to bed.

I woke up and I was still very tired. I had no intention of going for a run today, because I wasn't in the mood for that.

Waking up to that awful memory of yesterday still hunting me.

Why was I feeling guilty? I'm not the kind to feel bad about what happened but something's changed.

I feel like I should tell Amaya what happened and where I really went to. But I'm worried about what she thinks and what she may do.

Drowning on my thoughts, I stood and went to the bathroom. I washed up and got down.

I saw Amy making breakfast and I felt like killing myself.

Holy s.h.i.t Chase, this isn't you. Just get over this already.

"Hey handsome" she says placing my meal. I smiled and sat down.

"Good morning Amy" looking around Jason wasn't in the table.

"Where's Jason?" I asked

"Upstairs, he'll be down in a minute I guess" and she was done serving me. I ate and as usual it was yummy.

Days flew by pretty fast and it was Wednesday already. Work going well and I was told about the performance of Amaya and I couldn't be more proud of her.

I promised her a date for covering up for me and saving my a.s.s.

"Will you tell me what it is please?" Amy argued but I just laughed.

"Come out Amy, I won't bite you" I replied, exhaling.

I came to the office this morning and I left, I had some arrangement to make, so right now I'm standing in front of the big company which belongs to me, asking my wife through the phone to come down because I have a surprise for her.

She walks out of the building and saw me by my car, smiling she tilt her head to the right "what is it" she asked.

"We're going on a vacation and its right now" I said, pushing myself forward from the relaxed position I was in.

She opened her wide and I thought they'd fall out.

"What about Jason? And not to mention, I'll loose my job" she replied, putting her hands on her waist

"Jason will be with Jessica and I'm your boss, you're not getting fired and in fact I am giving you a break. Take as long as you want" I replied smirking. I think I won this argument.

She laughs and shaking her head, she said "you always have your ways. Okay let me get my things" and wanted to turn

"Don't worry, Judy will take care of everything, we're leaving from here and now" I said, walking to her and dragging her by the hand to the car.

"Ooh" she says as if she'd fall.

AMAYA'S POV

Chase is been undoubtedly sweet these days and as if that is not enough. He's taking me on a vacation although I have no idea where we're going for now.

He brought us to this cool and beautiful Jet on a rooftop.

He has a private jet?

Okay!!!

"Wow" I said, trying to hold my hair down, due to the breeze caused by the jet.

He just smiled, holding my hand and not letting go. We got in and sat down.

Everything was sparkling new, this was my first time in a jet.

I smiled goofily and that made him laughed. He stood up, walked over and helped me with my belt. Walked to his sit and did the same thing.

"Can I know where we're headed right now?" I asked in between huge smile plastered on my face and that made him smirked.

"Guess" he replied and I noticed the jet was rising.

"Uhm Paris?" I said but he shook his head

"j.a.pan?" I said again and he laughed at that, but shook his head again.

"Africa?"

"Nope"

"Egypt?"

"Nope"

"Amsterdam?" I said and this time he just smiled.

"Oh my G.o.d, we're visiting Amsterdam?" I asked and he laughed

"Yes Amaya, I saw it on your profile that you'd love to see the world, especially Netherlands. So here we go" he finished and I just wanted to jump and hug him but the belt wouldn't let me.

"But why all the special treat?" I asked igniting my brows.

"You'll find out when we get there" he said and I smiled. Relaxing and enjoying the trip.
