Chan Gu handed the whole flask of Wish Liquid to Long Yue the moment he went back from receiving their reward.
"Thank you so much, guys."
Long Yue's eyes twinkled as he took the flask of Wish Liquid from Chan Gu's hand. He knew more than anyone else, that his friends were doing this with an earnest heart to help him.
So he no longer stood on ceremony and accepted the wish liquid right away. He carefully stowed its container inside his storage ring.
The purpose of their group in joining the compet.i.tion was to win the Wish Liquid and it was for a single reason - that was to help Long Yue's cat, Luna, with her recovery.
Shen Biru who joined the group at the last minute was also briefed about this beforehand and so she wholly accepted this condition without any complaints.
With all of this said, the group has nothing to hold them back anymore in gifting the entire flask of the Wish Liquid to Long Yue.
Besides, for Shen Biru, as long as she would be able to get a chance to be with her Brother Yan and the other warlocks in the team, it was as good as winning the jackpot already.
In any case, she was already highly satisfied with the result that she got.
Firstly, it was because she belonged to the same team that won the compet.i.tion. Second, she also felt like she was given a chance to play the role of the rose among the thorns.
Because she was the only sorceress who was able to team up with a group of warlocks.
With that, she believed that it was all enough to let her secure a good spot in the list of the most popular belles in the school.
Having their goal achieved, Mu Lingxi and her friends rested for a few more minutes inside the hospital ward-like room.
When they were finally feeling refreshed and reenergized, that was the only time when they headed back to their dormitory just like the other student warlocks and sorceresses.
Shen Biru also did the same so the group went on separate ways as soon as they left the room.
When Mu Lingxi and the rest of her friends arrived at their dorm, Long Yue immediately went inside the folded s.p.a.ce.
This time around, only Long Fuzi followed his brother within the folded s.p.a.ce to check on Luna. Chan Gu and the others decided to wait and stroll outside to get some fresh air.
Each of them had their own agenda for that day as they went on doing what they planned.
That resulted in Mu Lingxi being left all alone with her cat, Ja.n.u.s inside their dorm. Mu Lingxi rarely went outside compared to her friends so she really did not mind.
She would rather read and indulge herself in the soft mattress of her bed instead of exhausting herself going out and hopping from places to places.
As expected, Mu Lingxi's friends made their way to Majika, though each of them has their own place in mind to visit.
After all, Majika was the only place within Magus Academia that was not only nearest to their dorm but could also allow them to unwind.
Moreover, it was already night time when they left their dorm. So they were just planning to do some activities there, hoping to relieve their stress before returning to their beds to retire for that day.
While Chan Gu was on his way to Whizmead, he met someone with a familiar face. It was the young lady who they encountered in the compet.i.tion. It was the sorceress named Hae Soo.
Chan Gu frequently visited Whizmead before and in fact, already memorized the faces of the staff there because he used to be one out of its many regular customers.
But this was his first time seeing Hae Soo here. Or was it that he already met the other party before but since they were basically strangers to each other, he failed to notice her?
However, right at this moment, for some reason, Chan Gu felt like he cannot tear his gaze away from the young lady. He just can't help it.
He watched Hae Soo from afar, and before he knew it he was already left in a daze.
Hae Soo was drinking by herself at one of the tables located at the far end corner of the shop.
The place was bustling with activities as usual, but Hae Soo had a certain quality in her that made her stand out amidst the crowd.
Well, Hae Soo wouldn't be dubbed as one of the school belles for no reason. Of course, she too was an exceptional beauty that could easily topple any cities.
Even from where he was standing, Chan Gu could see the outline of her small and aquiline nose which perfectly matched her long and thick eyelashes.
Her mesmerizing silhouette was further accentuated by her tranquil disposition which could be seen from how she sat quietly amidst the busy crowd.
Her presence could be described as a perfect embodiment of a G.o.ddess untainted and undisturbed by worldly affairs around her.
The brilliant moon could be seen through the transparent gla.s.s walls of the store. It was serving as a perfect backdrop to the serene picture of a young lady sipping a cup of tea in the corner of the shop.
The light being reflected from the moon casts a pale glow upon Hae Soo's body, making her appear like an ethereal fairy who could fly away at any given moment.
Chan Gu was momentarily enthralled by what he saw. It was only after one of the store attendants approached him did he manage to recover from the daze.
"Beautiful isn't she? She is also a frequent customer here, just like you. By any chance, do you know each other???"
"I only met her once. But I cannot say that we are really acquainted with each other."
Chan Gu personally knew the store attendant so he gave him an honest answer. After taking his order from the counter, he also looked for a table where he could dine.
Coincidence or not, the shop was already full of customers and all of the tables were already occupied.
Since that was the case, he decided to just take this chance to get to know Hae Soo more. After all, it was rare for someone to catch his attention just like what Hae Soo did.
Due to this reason, Hae Soo managed to pique his interest. Chan Gu walked towards the table that Hae Soo was currently occupying.
"Ehem.."
He cleared his throat to catch Hae Soo's attention. A second later, the young lady lifted her gaze and with a sweet smile on her beautiful face, she asked,
"Yes??"
