It is said that with the pa.s.sage of time, all things can be forgotten, and what happened next was proof of that.

With the slaying of Ristarte by Elric, things on the small plane gradually went back to normal.

The smell of sulphur in the air reduced, the red sky turned blue again, the streaks of lightning disappeared, and the ominous aura was gone. If it wasn't for the fact that they witnessed it themselves, the residents of the small plane would doubt its existence

Unfortunately, after scratching their heads for a bit, they realised that they couldn't get learn anything about what happened, so most if not all of them returned to their original lives

The beasts went back to their caves, the hidden tribes came out and cried toward the sun with joy, the frightened birds returned to their trees and started building nests again, and the injured went rested while they took care of their wounds.

All in all, everything was going right on track, however, somewhere within this same small plane, the atmosphere being emitted there was quite different

It has been over a week since Elric's and Ristarte's final battle, and the atmosphere In Hogwarts could be said to be gloomy if not depressed, to say the least.

Thanks to Elric's forceful extraction of mana, almost all of the students who had stepped into the ranks of apprentice mages had fainted due to mana overdraft while the other students were worried after seeing Davis and Alvin returning with serious injuries.

Luckily, Alvin was seriously injured, he took the help of the school and made sure there wasn't any chaos.

Ordering the able-bodied students to carry their fainted cla.s.smates to the practise room, Alvin commanded them to quickly try and sense mana hoping that more and more of them could help supply Elric in hopes of winning the battle

Thankfully, not sure if it was because of his efforts, but as soon as Elric fainted, Alvin got the message of his success through the small-world connection.

Getting the message, Alvin immediately ordered for a team to set off and bring Elric's body back quickly, lucky for them, due to the earlier aura being emitted from the ceremony earlier, no beast could be found miles within the site

With that, under Alvin's meticulous orders, Elric who had now lost an arm was successfully brought back to Hogwarts

Remembering the state in which he saw Elric after he was brought in, Alvin couldn't help but clench his fists wishing he was stronger.

Now a week had pa.s.sed, and although the atmosphere of Hogwarts was still gloomy, there seemed to be signs of it getting better.

With time, all the fainted apprentice wizards woke up safely, with only a huge headache constantly ringing in their heads as if to remind them that they were in a coma before.

Davis had woken up, unfortunately due to the severity of his injuries especially his ribs, Davis's body was wrapped up like a mummy in order to restrict his movements

George who felt it was his fault for not being there to help out, took it as his duty to make sure everything in the school run optimally till Elric woke up, due to that, all the cooking, hunting, and patrolling was done by George

And lastly, Alvin who had handed over the reins of the school to George after confirming Elric's safety, fainted directly as his body couldn't hold it due to the pain.

Thankfully, after sleeping for four days straight, he woke up, and although not fully healed, it was enough for him to join George and do some meagre activities.

According to Alvin's observations, Elric seemed to be about to wake up at any second, unfortunately his brain was still in a self-protective mode due to the constant pain being transmitted from his arm

Due to this, Although Elric kept giving signs of waking up every day throughout this week, he never did. But now, looking at how strong the reactions from Elric were, Alvin was almost a hundred percent sure he was going to wake up

"You guys, it seems the young master is about to wake up!"

Looking at Elric's figure lying on the bed in the headmaster's bedroom, Alvin spoke to George and Davis beside him,

Sadly, Davis who was currently covered in bandages couldn't talk and could only hum in agreement.

Waving his only good arm, Elric promptly dismissed Alvin and the rest from saying anything. .

Seeing this, they knew they had no choice but to comply, although they could hear the sadness and unwillingness clearly from Elric's tone.
