Chapter 3 Kill Me Bai Yao asked in a light tone, "Why are you accepting me as an apprentice?" Hearing this, Zi Qin's lips slightly opened, but he didn't speak. Thinking about it for a moment, he finally said, "Wushan Elder asked me to teach you sorcery, and I said yes." The truth was that he had actively requested this of the elder, and had volunteered to accept her as an apprentice. Only because she was— “When shall we begin?" Bai Yao quickly thought of the true purpose of her visit to Mt. Wushan, and her voice became a bit colder. Zi Qin looked at her, slightly stunned. The woman in front of him, who was only fifteen years old, looked older than other teenagers. Witchcraft was as poison, and although it gave people spiritual power, it also put people under more pressure. "Kill me." He looked at her and saw the confusion in her eyes. Almost immediately, her eyes returned to a more peaceful gaze. He smiled, an expression that hid some of his thoughts. Bai Yao remembered that in her last life he had said the same words; he said he wouldn't die. She didn't dare, because she had not killed anyone. There was a sword on the ground, and she stared at it, but refused to move to pick it up. Zi Qin took out the jade bottle from the back. "If you can't do it, you should fill this bottle with your own blood after you have fasted." Kill him? No, she couldn't do it. The old saying was, One day as your master, you should respect him as your father for your whole life. Her master treated her very well in her last life. How could she hurt him? Between killing the master and the other choice of hurting herself, Bai Yao chose the latter. And in fact, she knew it was just her self-comfort trying to persuade herself that she did not kill anyone in her last life, but she had. Her face was calm as she took the jade bottle, but her trembling hands betrayed her inner feelings. "I will certainly fill this bottle with my own blood." Bai Yao held the jade bottle tightly, hiding her inner emotions, so her tone was firm. After a while, she recovered her calm look. “Master, allow me to leave first." She saluted Zi Qin and left. The wind lifted her hair and her skirt, and although she was slim and tiny, she straightened her back. Looking at Bai Yao's back as she left, Zi Qin's eyes were deep. He was not surprised that Bai Yao would make such a choice; it was what he had expected. As to why he let her fill the bottle with her own blood, Ziqin did not explain. Her blood would be useful later. However, Zi Qin couldn't help but sigh slightly. Her heart still, after all, was not hard enough! The next day, Bai Yao refused eating anything. Tinyu, who was a close maid to Bai Yao, heard Bai Yao was refusing to eat, and when she saw Bai Yao's face become pale, she wanted to help. She offered, "My Lady, eat something; even a little bite is better." Tinyu was had been given orders by Zi Qin to take care of her living needs. Bai Yao heard her words, and felt the warmth in heart that the maid cared, but she was still unmoved. "Tinyu, don't worry, I'll be fine." Bai Yao's voice was a little weak but gentle. "Go down to have a rest first. I promised the master, and I will keep it. " Tinyu looked at her firm eyes, knowing that she could not persuade Bai Yao. She felt helpless, but obeyed and left. As she did, her eyes were still full of concern. It was time for her to do it. She withstood her discomfort, and pulled out the delicate bottle of jade from her bosom, and then she picked up the dagger from the table. She lifted the sleeve of her left hand and held dagger with her right hand, hesitating for a moment. Why are you still hesitating? she asked herself. Do you want to kill the master? You have been dead once. No need to care about the pain! Thinking of this, she clenched her teeth tightly, and made a hard-hearted stroke to her wrist. She saw the blood flow out of the cut as she thrust herself with the sharp dagger. The moonlight outside shone through the window, shining on Bai Yao's pure wrists. Red blood seeped from the skin, instantly run out more. Bai Yao watched the blood dripping into the jade bottle, like a dazzling flower blooming. She was not without pain; she was just numb. The master's request was nothing compared to what Bai Yu and Mo Xi had done to her in the previous life. The pain in her body was far less than the holes in the heart! And she believed that the master did this for a reason. She would always believe in the master! Bai Yao was still bleeding as a figure in purple appeared outside the door. Its deep eyes reflected the emotions in the room. Zi Qin looked at the endurance on her face, and his right hand lifted just a little, as if he wanted to push the door open and enter. But his hand paused in the air, and then he clenched his fists and put his hand back behind him. Zi Qin, no, you cannot soften your heart. This is what she must experience, he told himself. You must use her blood, and only by doing this, can she reach nirvana and become a real witch! Zi Qin watched outside the door until her bleeding stopped, then he left. The night was getting deeper and deeper. In the courtyard, in two rooms, were a man and a woman. The woman was tired, both in her heart and her body, and just fell asleep. The man stood in front of the window, and pa.s.sed the night sleepless. The next day, Bai Yao did the same as yesterday. With her whole day spent in fasting, she waited until night and poured more blood into the bottle. And Zi Qin also spent the day like yesterday. How he wished he could take her place to take her pain, but after all, he could not. After two days, more than half the bottle was filled with blood. Just persist; it's almost done! Bai Yao secretly exhaled in heart. In the early morning of the third day, as soon as she opened the door and went into the yard, she suddenly became dizzy and felt weak. She put her hand to her forehead. As soon as it happened, the door across the room opened. And when Zi Qin saw this scene, he was startled. He immediately moved to Bai Yao's side with witchcraft, shouting her name. "Yao! Yao!" Zi Qin saw no reaction from Bai Yao, so he carried her princess-style and brought her into his room. Through the fogginess of fainting, Bai Yao seemed to hear her name being called. Who was it? The voice felt so familiar. Zi Qin took care of Bai Yao by himself. Even Tinyu was not allowed to take this job. Watching her master taking good care of Lady Bai, Tinyu was surprised. Tinyu knew that her master didn't want others to get close to him. How could he be different with this lady? Was it . . . ? Tinyu was still immersed in her own guessing when she was forced to stop by a cold look from Zi Qin. She immediately stopped her thinking and bowing her head low. In the house, the woman lay in the bed. The man looked at her quietly. For a moment, the air between them was filled with strange feelings. The Zi Qin's large hand touched Bai Yao's face. Bai Yao's face was small and delicate, and her lips were a little dry. Her hands were pale from blood loss, and her big eyes, once shining with energy, were closed. Zi Qin cherished her, and his gentle eyes quietly looked at her. Suddenly, Bai Yao frowned tightly, shaking her head repeatedly, whispering fearfully. "No . . . don't come near! Don't hurt me again!" Her face became drenched with sweat and tears appeared in the corners of her eyes. "Don't be afraid, I'm here," Zi Qin gently comforted her as he wiped the cold sweat from her brow. Bai Yao seemed to hear this, and her mood gradually calmed down. When seeing her struggling with the nightmare, his heart was so pained, like being p.r.i.c.ked by a needle. By the time Bai Yao woke up, it was already afternoon.
