There is an event in this world where whatever is spoken is sacred. It is considered to be holy words spoken with complete secrecy and trust. That event is of course, at sleepovers.
It was common for people to sleep around their friend's house, many people would stay up as late as possible and mess with whoever falls asleep first. Various games would be played and drinks and sweets were a must.
"So? What's the plan?"
At Kaylee's house, herself, Ruby, and Lily all gathered one Sat.u.r.day night. They dressed in their cutest pyjamas and attempted to resist the urge to crush Lily to death in her bubblegum onesie.
"It's your house. You invited us to start with." Ruby said.
"Ah, you're right! Well, I have all these board games. We can play Monopoly?"
"Hmmm." Ruby was reluctant to play the h.e.l.lish game.

"I like that game. I think we should" Lily said faintly.
"So cute…" All Lily had to do was say anything and Kaylee would have forced Ruby to go along with it. "Alright, it's settled. LET'S PLAY!"
The game started as usual and nothing worth noting happened. The three of them played and no one yelled, they all casually played a stressful game together.
"Are you both ready for the upcoming exams?" Ruby asked.
"Of course! Ethan helped me the other day with Math's so I should be all good!"
"I think I'm prepared. I've been trying my best."
"How was revising with Ethan? Anything interesting happen?"
"Not really. We just studied together and then we met up with you and Owen."
"I see."
"It's nice to see you two with your boyfriends," Lily said abruptly.
Ruby and Kaylee looked at her with astonished expressions. They weren't sure where she had learnt that from or if she was joking or not. To them, their child just said something truly unbelievable. Their child had sworn for the first time.
"No no. It's not like that." Ruby said hoping to defend herself. "We aren't like that. We are barely even friends."
"Yeah… same with me and Ethan. We are just friends." Kaylee added.
"I guess what Sean said was a joke. Their reactions did seem weird."
"Anyway, Lily." Ruby hoped to change the topic. "What about you? If you don't mind me asking, why did you come back to school on those does to meet Sean?"
Lily wasn't a typical introvert. She was perfectly fine with normal conversation and was even able to talk about her feelings easily with people she trusts. Her anxiety came from the years of bullying, and along with it, her trust in everyone died.
"I wanted to try." She said. "Sean was the first person that tried to speak to me. I thought at first he was only speaking with me to insult me, so I wanted to see if I was stupid. I'm glad I was right to come back. Thanks to him I've met you all."
"AWWWWW LILY YOU ARE SO CUTE!" Kaylee pounced on Lily hugging her, to which Lily hugged her back.
"Alright, get off her." Ruby pulled them apart. "More importantly. I have a question for you, Kaylee."
"Oooo secret time. Let's do this." Kaylee sat eagerly waiting to share with her friends. Her first proper gossip since arriving at her current school.
"What's happening with you and Simon?"
Kaylee stared at Ruby as she slowly drank from her drink.
"Ummm… well… we kinda broke up."
"I knew it." Ruby secretly said to herself whilst Lily tried to figure out who Simon is.
"Why did you break up?"
"Well, we weren't really going out for long. We started dating just before I transferred in, even then we weren't really dating. We hung out a lot and he kept coming to my work to pick me up. I don't know what it is. He just seemed kinda clingy. Is it wrong for me to say I wasn't even sure if I liked him?"
Ruby and Lily listened with what little they knew about Simon. He was still a mystery to all of them and can only go off of the insults and rumours Ethan created from what he saw of him.
"So? How long did you go out?"
"Let's see. We started in September and ended just before February. So that's… em… well. You can work it out."
"Well, well, well. You've been single for a while and have been hiding it from us for a while."
"I didn't mean to. Just never mentioned it."
"Yeah, I don't care about that," Ruby said. "I'm more interested in what happens next."
Ruby slowly moved forward into Kaylee's personal bubble whilst Lily still tried to figure out the puzzle in her head about her friend's lives.
"What do you mean?"
"I'm talking about your next partner. Anyone you got your eye on?"
Kaylee's personal s.p.a.ce didn't exist at this point. Ruby's face was right in front of Kaylee and had no intention of moving until she answered.
"N-no. I don't." Kaylee shoved Ruby away as far as she could and retreated behind a pillow.
"What's wrong, hehe. Still trying to hide something?" Ruby's approach still continued, like a predator, she climbed across the bed but quickly found a pillow in her face.
"Ow. I see how it is… Looks like you've asked for war."
The two of them threw pillows back and forth endlessly whilst one eventually hit Lily and brought a third party into the war. You may call this cliche or stereotypical for this situation, but this is just how things turned out.
The three-way battle lasted for almost an hour with all of them never running out of energy. They had to be stopped by Kaylee's parents who were annoyed because they were making too much noise at 1 in the morning. The game of monopoly never ended, but Lily possessed a large majority of properties and was near winning.
