Business was bad right now so no money was coming in and the creditors were hounding her. She loved this bright yellow and red baby of hers, but in two days she would hand it over to her new owner.
"Let's go for one last fight over the islands baby"
Susan loaded camping and climbing gear into the plane. It would take her a couple of hours to get to the isle*. She loved visiting this one isle you could only get to by plane. She discovered it a few years back when she had to make an emergy stop. She would return a few times a year.
There was a lagoon so pure and clear and just big enough to land her plane. She was going to spend the night and climb the small rock base there. It would be her last chance to see the place of her dreams.
While in the air a report came over the radio. 'Beep beep beep this a report for all crafts out in the area. A sudden tropical storm has quickly developed and all small boats and planes are requested to return and take shelter.'
Susan could see the storm and just hoped she could make it before it hit. It was not much further.
Just as she landed her baby it started to rain. She Got her supplies and gear and headed for the small cave she loved to stay in.
Just as she got a fire going she heard,
Pop, Bang, Boom. She step out to see her Baby go up in a rain of fire. It was. .h.i.t by lighting. She stood there in disbelief. How was she getting home now. No one would look for her and she only had enough food for two days.
She slumped down. Her dumb luck. She started to cry.

Ailill was woken with a earth shattering explosion. He stretched wondering how long he slept this time. Not that it mattered he had been alone since he turn 500 and he was told to leave his mother land and hide from the dragon hunters. It was the last time he had seen his teaghlach*. He had tried to find them a few times over the thousands of years he was alive but soon gave up now sleeps more then anything.
He shifted into his human form and walked out on the ledge. 'Uhm, the lagoon on fire. He jumped and changed in air and glided down to the beach. Changing back human when as he touched the ground. He was puzzled as he walk near the small object. He had never seen such a thing. ' How did this get here?' he asked himself.
He then noticed foot prints in the sand. The rain felt good as he followed the tracks. He was hoping he did not have to fight a hunter. He was to rusty, he just wanted to go back to bed.
The tracks led to a small cave at the base of his home. He stopped stunned. A beautiful curly brown hair child sat weeping by a fire.
"A'lainn, are you all right? Where's your people?" Surely she wasn't alone.
Susan looked up in surprise at the deep irish voice talking to her. Her eyes got wide. There stood a G.o.d of a man. Tall, had to be over 7 feet tall. Red flame hair pulled back neat with what look like rawhide. He was wareing a cotton rob that was plaster to him from the rain. It showed the mussels of a body builder . Then she noticed the green eyes with gold flakes. Stunning.
She got up and looked up at him. She felt like a child next to him, she stood only 4 foot 5 to his 7 foot."Who are you?"
Ailill step back this was not a child this was a woman all plump and curvy. "Name is Aillecht O'Murchadha a'lainn but you can call me Ailill."
He gave a slight bow. "And who might you be?"
"Susan Ann Miller. Nice to meet you."
"Now Susan, how did you get here on my Isle and what is that is on fire in my lagoon."
"Sorry, I did not know anyone own this land. That's my plane, it was. .h.i.t by lighting." She said.
" Acushla, what is a plane?" he asked.
Was he for real. " Very funny, can you help me back to the main land or do you have a radio I can use to contact serch and rescue."
"Susan my acrushla*, I have been alone on this isle for a very long time and do not know of such things so Please answer my question macushla*."
"That is my seaplane. I flew here and landed in the lagoon to camp overnight here."She said wondering what his problem is, he looks to be in his late thirtys, and to know nothing about planes. I wonder if he has amnesia.
"I never in my life thought that the G.o.ds would allow humans to take flights. This is some world you live in." 'How long had he slept this time. Man was still new to the sea last time he was up. Now they have flight.'
This guy was off his rocker. Was he not human and how did he get here. Susan was now getting scared.
Ailill could since a change in the girl. One of fear. This puzzled him. She had nothing to be afraid of with him."A'lainn, Why are you frightened?"
"How did you get her and can you leave?" She asked not answering his question.
Funny thing to be scared of he thought. "I flew her and I am not sure how long. The last time I really check with humans it was earlier 1300's some Black plague was going on so I came back to sleep. Woke up when your plane caught fire. Is that plague still going on?" He explained.
'This man is nutso, 1300, black plague. She must of fallen down a rabbit hole.' she thought to her self.
"No plague now hasn't been for centuries. Can you get me off this isle?" She asked.
"Yes, but..." he paused. He was lonely and wanted her to stay a while. He was tired of sleeping. He could take her back even in this storm but what if he waited. He knew by feel of this storm that it would last a few days. If he charmed her like the leprechauns did then maybe for a while he would have a friend.
"But what?"
He smiled, "but the storm has to leave first."
She had almost forgot about the storm. Then she realized he was almost dry, how could that be.
"Where do you live?" she asked. She had never seen him or a structure on the isle.
"Above you, I carved it out my self want to see?" He held out his hand.
" Sure" she did not take his hand but put out her fire and slung her pack over her shoulder.
They walked out in the rain he blindfolded her with a strip of his robe he tore off. Please, don't be frightened, the entrance is private just hold on.
