Volume 6 Chapter 173 - Chaos Magic s.p.a.ce Blockade
Levin Hasko’s expression sunk.
He had been focused on the Wild Thunder Snake Dance that Xu Yi had released, but he never thought that Xu Yi would take this chance to escape!
“This fellow, he simply brings shame to magicians!” Levin Hasko was angry deep down. With a wave of his hand, there was a powerful magic fluctuation that brought along a column of blue energy to hit the thick clouds in the sky.
The clouds that were filled with thunder had power that seemed like it brought the end of the world.
But after a while, the clouds had already scattered and the sky cleared again.
Perhaps this Forbidden Spell was terrifying for normal magicians, but for an Arch Magus like Levin Hasko, it was just a special spell that he could easily dispel with a wave of his hand.
When Xu Yi disappeared, the Magic Sh.e.l.ls and Magic Beams that had been attacking Levin Hasko without stopping had also disappeared, so he released his magic barrier. Looking in the direction that Xu Yi had disappeared in, he used his magic to sense where Xu Yi had escaped.
He thought that with his methods as an Arch Magus, he could easily find the traces of magic power that Xu Yi had left behind to find where he escaped, but when he investigated with his magic, he found that the elemental magic energy in the air was in complete chaos.
The chaotic elemental magic energy in the air was so strong that when his magic power went through, it wasn’t able to continue forward.
Not to mention finding Xu Yi based on the traces of magic power that he had left when he ran, he wasn’t even able to control the elemental magic energy that was fluctuating in the air.
Levin Hasko couldn’t help knitting his brows.
This situation was very rare for an Arch Magus like him. It could be seen that Xu Yi had already prepared something before escaping, making him unable to find a trace of his magic power.
“Humph, this kid has some skills.” Levin Hasko turned to look at the large buildings in the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s main base in the distance and gave a cold laugh, “I want to see if you can watch as your Frestech Chamber of Commerce is slowly destroyed by my hands.”
With a thought, Levin Hasko disappeared from midair.
After a while, he appeared around four kilometers away in the air.
“Yi?” Levin Hasko looked at the s.p.a.ce in front of him with an expression filled with doubt and surprise.
As a powerful Arch Magus, he was very skilled in spatial magic.
He had planned to directly go back to the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s main base and then destroy it to force Xu Yi to come out, but he never expected that when he approached, he would find the elemental magic energy in the s.p.a.ce around to fluctuate this intensely, which could even be considered chaotic.
Although spatial magic seemed like magicians went directly from one place to another, in reality it was using elemental magic energy to move at high speeds, not instantly appearing in another place.
So when the elemental magic energy was unstable, spatial magic wouldn’t have any effect.
But there were few places that could have this kind of unstable elemental magic energy that would affect spatial magic. Levin Hasko only knew three places like this and they definitely weren’t close to this place.
After knitting his brows to think, he decided to put aside this issue and activated the magic in his body before disappearing again.
However, in just the blink of an eye, he appeared only several hundred meters away in the air.
“What is this?”
Levin Hasko looked at the s.p.a.ce in front of him with a surprised look.
He had only moved several hundred meters, but he found that the s.p.a.ce in front of him was extremely unstable, making him unable to move forward with spatial magic.
After knitting his brows to think, Levin Hasko closed his eyes and released all his magic, investigating the area around him.
After around five minutes, he opened his eyes again, but it was hard to hide the shocked look that he had.
Through investigating with his magic, he was surprised to find that the chaotic elemental magic energy wasn’t just in a single place, but rather they were linked together to form a sphere which was wrapped up around him!
This chaotic s.p.a.ce not only included the air above him, but also the ground beneath him, not leaving a single crack.
This meant that it was basically impossible for him to use spatial magic to leave this s.p.a.ce.
After Levin Hasko used his magic to investigate, he was certain that there wasn’t a single crack in the chaotic elemental magic energy around him, so he couldn’t help knitting his brows.
As an Arch Magus, of course he was a master of spatial magic. He was clear that it wasn’t hard to create chaos with the elemental magic energy in a s.p.a.ce, but to create such a large area of chaotic elemental magic energy, it was something that was almost impossible to do.
Even an Arch Magus like him couldn’t do this.
What made him even more surprised and confused was that this area of chaotic elemental magic energy was created because when he and Xu Yi used spatial magic to come here, they weren’t affected at all.
If it was as expected, this strange s.p.a.ce should be arranged by Xu Yi.
However, this was a bit unbelievable for him.
Such a large s.p.a.ce, even for an Arch Magus like Levin Hasko, he couldn’t do it. Not to mention it not dispersing after all this time.
It had to be known, s.p.a.ce tended to move towards stability, so to make this s.p.a.ce maintain this kind of state, you had to keep using magic to influence it.
To maintain this state with such a large area, it required a hard to imagine amount of magic power.
Even Levin Hasko as an Arch Magus couldn’t do this with all his power.
“Could it be that the Frestech Chamber of Commerce has other Arch Magi helping them?” When this thought appeared in his mind, Levin Hasko immediately shook it out.
Although there were rumours that there were hidden Arch Magi, magicians that had become Arch Magi were very clear that this was impossible.
Any Arch Magus that broke through would create an anomaly that definitely couldn’t be hidden.
So all the Arch Magi on the continent had been found and it was impossible to hide.
Moreover, since they had already become an Arch Magus, there was no need to hide.
Then was there another Arch Magus secretly helping the Frestech Chamber of Commerce?
But this didn’t make sense.
If the Frestech Chamber of Commerce had the support of another Arch Magus, he and Sarandal Clay would have left without any hesitation, they wouldn’t need to take the risk of the Frestech Chamber of Commerce base being destroyed.
So the only explanation was that this was a carefully planned trap used to deal with the two of them.
But how could the Frestech Chamber of Commerce know they were coming today? And how could they have set the trap just right?
Levin Hasko thought about it before shaking these thoughts out of his head.
These questions weren’t important, the important thing was how to leave this trap.
He had already tested it, after entering this chaotic magic s.p.a.ce, he couldn’t control the chaotic elemental magic energy in the air, which meant that he couldn’t use spatial magic and couldn’t even use flight magic.
So to leave this place, he only had a single choice which was to walk out.
Levin Hasko looked at the Frestech Chamber of Commerce’s main base that was several kilometers away. After thinking about it, he landed on the ground and walked into this strange chaotic magic s.p.a.ce.
When he came in, he couldn’t help shaking.
Although this chaotic magic s.p.a.ce didn’t look that different from normal s.p.a.ce, as an Arch Magus who was more sensitive to elemental magic energy in the air, his senses were terrifying.
So when the chaotic elemental magic energy met his senses, he couldn’t help being a bit affected.
After taking a few steps with difficulty, Levin Hasko had to withdraw the barrier around him and let the chaotic elemental magic energy around him go wild.
Because he had given up affecting the elemental magic energy around him, he wasn’t affected by this s.p.a.ce and was no different from a normal person walking on the ground.
However, when he had gone twenty meters, Levin Hasko suddenly felt a strong sense of danger above him.
He didn’t have time to think and released all his magic, surrounding his body in a magic barrier.
There were flames that appeared in the distance, instantly appearing in front of Levin Hasko in the blink of an eye.
“Hong!”
With a powerful explosion, Levin Hasko was blown into the air by the powerful shockwaves, flying backwards several dozen meters and rolling several times on the ground before stopping.
Because he left that s.p.a.ce, the elemental magic energy around him stabilized again, so Levin Hasko was able to instantly control the elemental magic energy around him and create another firm magic barrier, which had allowed him to stop himself from being heavily wounded by this shockwave.
However, after he stabilized himself, there was a sweet taste in his mouth before he spat out a mouthful of blood.
