The Forgotten Royal 25 Let Me Come With You

"So, let me get this straight... you now have a boyfriend, new friends, finally completely your mission, but decided not to come back home until you find the answer to a question you have had for many years???"

"Yes, Ash. That is right. All I need to do is find a certain Plisetsky person."

"Okay... And that person is??"

"I'm not sure yet. But I know how to find him. And I'm planning to go maybe tonight."

"Tonight!?!?" Kayla approaches me and shakes me. "What in the world are you going to tell Dmitry!? What am I going to tell him if you are already gone and he comes back home!?!?"

"Uh..."

"Am I suppose to tell him that his beloved girlfriend just left for a for sure dangerous mission to find out who the h.e.l.l her real father is!?!"

I sigh very deeply once she stopped shaking me. "I.. don't know."

"And what if he would want to go with you?"

"I'd.. do my best to convince him to stay."

"Which you would surely fail."

Not knowing how to respond, I remain silent.

"No matter what you'd say to my brother, he'd find a way for you to accept his request."

"Whatever you're decision is, just make sure to take care of yourself okay?" Ash said.

"Okay." I said before standing up and walking to the backyard.

Sighing deeply, I sit against a tree and stay there for a few hours thinking. Before I realized it, the sun has set and Ash had already left as well as Kayla. Standing up, I walk back into the house and look at Dmitry who was walking towards me.

"So, you're leaving? For how long?" He asked.

"She.. told you?"

"Of course."

"Hm... I-I don't know how long I'll be gone.."

"Then, let me come with you."

"I shouldn't.. I don't want you to get into danger because of me. It would be better if I'd go alone."

"To be honest, maybe it would be better if I go with you. That way, I would be able to protect you. I can't just sit around while knowing that my girlfriend is somewhere going through hardships being alone."

"I-"

"Jewel," Dmirty gently cups my face with both of his hands, "please let me come with you."

Sighing lightly, I gently node small. "Please don't make me regret my decision."

"Have I ever made you regret anything, love?"

Blushing hard, I shake my head lightly. "No."

"Then, why would I now?"

"I guess you have a point."

"Of course I do."

Rolling my eyes lightly, I gently pinch his nose. "We shall leave when midnight strikes."

"Eek- okay. Sounds good."
