“Yes, Boss!” Ah Yong responded and looked at the chauffeur who quickly started the car.

The car slowly drove towards the dim roads ahead.

The stifled atmosphere in the car lasted for a while before Ah Yong could not help but speak up softly, “Boss, Miss Lingshi—”

Gu Qiwu, who was resting with his eyes closed, slowly opened them upon hearing Ah Yong. He turned his head to look out the window at the scenery that pa.s.sed him by. Suddenly, there was a dazed look in his eyes.
