He glided forwards and drove his clawed hand into the eye of the cyclops causing it to hold its face and roar in pain. He removed his arm and jumped away from the blinded cyclops' wild swing and dodged the ma.s.sive hammer that crushed the skull of the blinded cyclops who fell to his knees and turned to stone. Gold glided back to the floor and quickly read the situation around him as the cyclops move to surround him. One of them swung at him with a hammer and Gold crossed his arms as the hammer struck his arms. The ground cratered below him. The cyclops joined together and struck him several times. He flew up knocking the cyclops off balance and he turned on of his arms into a split blade and lunged at one of the cyclops and drove it into its throat causing a waterfall of blood and the cyclops fell to its knees and turned to stone. He turned and shattered the blade that was swung at him and flew towards the cyclops and used the demonic wing's razor blade-like to slash a ma.s.sive wound across the cyclops' stomach. He flew up and put his hands together and swung bringing both his hands with all his strength into the cyclops' chest as its ma.s.sive bones shattered under the force of his blow. He lifted his hand grabbing the cyclops' arm, plunging his claws into the tough skin and then the soft flesh of the cyclops. His body crashed into the floor as the cyclops drove its forearm into the floor. Gold coughed blood and drove his body through the cyclops' arm splitting it and then spun slashing through its eye and drove his body into the vulnerable eye and through the back on the cyclops' head. He was swatted out of the air by the last one who was larger and clearly the leader. Three stone statues of fallen cyclops knelt around them. Gold rose to his feet and stared up at the ma.s.sive cyclops. The beast looked down at him and grunted. He put his arms out and laughed. The cyclops punched wildly at the floor and Gold yawned as he climbed out of the ma.s.sive hole that the cyclops had made. He looked up at him and coughed blood again and returned to his normal form. "Tier 1, cast Stone Bolt, cast Air Bolt," A stone rod flew propelled through the air towards the cyclops' ma.s.sive eye but the cyclops reacted in time and put his finger in the way causing the stone rod to slow down and miss his eye, but it still went through the cyclops' finger and fell pathetically to the ground, "Tier 1, cast Air Bolt, cast Fireball," A ball of fire flew and hit the cyclops's chest, the flames exploded and expanded over the cyclops' chest and began spreading around his body. The cyclops roared and tried squashing Gold. Gold leaped out of the way, "Tier 2, cast Fire Bolt, cast Ice Bolt, and cast Lightning Ball," The three projectiles flew at the cyclops' head and the ice bolt shattered on his hand as he blocked it but an ice shard flew and hit the cyclops' eye and caused it to reel and roar in pain and covered its ma.s.sive eye. Gold was exhausted and could barely stand up, he was too weak to use high tier spells, they would kill him, he had tried his best to hide it the day before and earlier that day but now he was in serious trouble, he thought he could finish the fighting quickly and rest, but now, he was against a ma.s.sive cyclops who, even blind, could kill him quickly, he weakly lifted his arm, "Tier 3, cast Smite," Nothing happened, "f.u.c.k, f.u.c.k, I am done for," The cyclops smelled the air and walked towards him, Gold lifted his arm again, "Tier 1, cast Fireball," A ball of flames flew towards the cyclops' eye and it roared in pain as it hit it in the eye, but it continued to move towards him, blind. He saw his life flash before his eyes as the cyclops' ma.s.sive fist flew towards him, he was too weak to move and couldn't do anything about it. He closed his eyes and felt himself thrown back by the ground and fell into someone's arms. He opened his eyes and noticed Camille holding him and Daryu Boros and Miia standing in front of the ma.s.sive cyclops. Daryu Boros threw Miia onto the cyclops and she drove her claws into the side of the cyclops' head. It let out a dying roar and fell to its knees and turned to stone. She ran down the stone arm and rushed to Gold. He limply tried to sit up but coughed again and fell back.

"Master! Master!" Miia said getting very close to him, "What happened?"

"I am fine, I need rest, let's go back to the village, I need to rest," He coughed, "I might be half-G.o.d, but I still have a human half and I can't use as many spells as I want," Daryu Boros picked him up and held him as they walked back, "I will live."

They arrived in town where everyone came out when they notice the group return. Miia ran to the owner of the inn, "We need a room, now!" The man hurried helped them carry Gold and placed him on the bed and went to get water for him. He returned and placed it on the table.

"He killed most of them, but he pushed himself too far, he used powerful spells and continued," Camille explained, "So he nearly killed himself."

"He took on four of them, alone, and killed all of them," Camille sighed, "But he knew he was too tired to do so but still, to defend this town, he kept going, I would be thankful if I were you, we killed five normal cyclops and their leader, well, we killed two, he killed four of them."

"Thank you for what you did for our town," The leader knelt in front of him, "I thank you, I don't know how to show you how much happy I am for what you did for my people without even knowing anything about our town," He got up and headed to the door and spoke to the manager of the inn, "I'll pay for his room, he did something immense for our town and I think this is a minimum."

"Bella," She looked at him as if she was begging, "Don't stay too long," Miia lifted his head and poured water into his mouth lifting his masked gently. Bella sat on her knees next to Gold and went to take off his mask but Miia slapped her hand.

"Sorry, I, I over reacted," Miia stammered quickly, "He, he, he doesn't want people to see his face, for no real reason, I am sorry."

"No, no, no, it's fine, I should have asked before," Bella said rubbing her hand, "When he is better, tell me, I would like to talk to him."

"O-Okay," Miia said looking at Bella as she left the room, "Master, do you want to sleep? Maybe food or water?"
