Probably it was the lack of the light that tricked her eyes or her mind that couldn't proceed everything properly or maybe it was all only in her imagination, but her eyes fooled her with the image of a boy right before her eyes.
The boy was only three or four years old, his eyes were the exact eyes of the man whom became the subject of her mission.
His chubby cheeks as if he was eating something and forgot to swallow it, but he gave Luna a toothy smile regardless.
The image was so clear, the boy felt so real…
It's a boy…?
Luna kept her eyes on him while caressing her stomach carefully. There was a warm that swirled on her belly.
I will be a mother…?
That thought never crossed her mind, not in the situation like this. However, as if the boy understood what she was thinking, he stepped closer and hugged her legs.
"Impossible…" Luna muttered silently to herself.
She was staring in daze at the top of boy's head.
"What is impossible?" The words were heard along with warm breath on Luna's neck and a protective hugged from behind her.
Startled, Luna whipped her head and found Xiao Tianyao's face right beside hers with his arms sneaked around her slim waist.
"You are so cold." Xiao Tianyao grumbled in dissatisfaction, rubbing his warm palms against hers. "What are you doing here in the middle of the night?"
Luna didn't answer his question immediately, she looked down at her legs and the boy had gone as if he was never there in the first place.
"Nothing…" She shook her head and offered him half- hearted smile. "The air it's so refreshing here…" She added, knowing she couldn't come up with better excuse.
"It's cold here, let's go inside." Xiao Tianyao wrapped Luna's body with his cloak as he grabbed her hand and brought her away.
The howling wind made Luna glanced again at the place where the boy had appeared and disappeared mysteriously.
My son…

Three days had pa.s.sed after the news about her pregnancy, most of the time she would sit beside the window while looking at the barren garden in front of her.
The tiredness didn't disappear, if anything, she felt more lethargic. There was no improvement in her appet.i.te as well.
Her condition made Xiao Tianyao worry as he invited doctor to check on her, but every time Luna would turn all of them down while saying she was fine and only needed some rest.
Somehow Xiao Tianyao couldn't force her and found himself agreed with her as he sent all the doctors away.
"…My Lady…" The old Mama called for Luna who seemingly didn't listen to what she was saying earlier.
"Ah, yes?" Luna raised her brows and looked at her in daze. "Did you say something?"
"My lady, you should let the doctor to check on you."
"There is no need for that."
Luna walked toward the bed to lay down.
"Is not that…" The old Mama shook her head and smiled sheepishly. "This old servant is thinking that…" She hung her words in the air while giggling. Find authorized novels in Webnovel, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.webnovel.com for visiting.
