The Story Of Dusk 246 A Gift For Luna

Xiao Tianyao reached out to take the dagger and immediately recognized it. The person who had attacked Luna was indeed Modama, he had come into his mansion to kill his own daughter? Was he out of his mind?

From Luna, he knew that the clan that had attacked them recently was Misty Cloud Clan and the person behind them must be Modama, but after many attempts on them and all failed, it was surprising news to see Modama came by himself to kill his own daughter. It still wasn't sound right in Xiao Tianyao's ears.

Why he was so determined? Wasn't Luna the only person that could share the same ability as him? Wasn't Modama so proud with his ability?

"You tried to kill my sister! Your own daughter?! You are monster!!!" Gong Xu roared behind the bar. He was so angry until his face turned dark.

Gong Xu ignored the pain on his back from his split opened wound, or his dry throat because it has been two days since Modama had stopped to give him water.

In front of him, Modama was writhing in pain on the floor while grabbing his head, the head of Misty Cloud Clan was clueless about what he should do.

It was Modama's fortune that he came in time to save him, or else Xiao Tianyao and his guard would have killed him by now.

If it wasn't because Xiao Tianyao was distracted because of Luna's condition, he would have seen Modama and killed him easily on the spot. But, the fact said the otherwise, the rare chance slipped just like that and now Modama was still alive.

In spite the strange pain that he felt on his head, everything was alright. A physician had been summoned earlier, but there was nothing wrong with Modama's condition and he didn't know either what the cause that made him so in pain like that.

Currently, Modama was screaming in agony, he felt his head split into two.

It was all because of Luna!

That useless daughter of his had made him like this. Her suggestion that she had buried in his head was the thing that Modama wanted to get rid, but he didn't have enough power to do so.

Somehow, this suggestion was so powerful, forced him to subdue, but how he could succ.u.mb into it while the only thing in his mind was to give Luna a miserable death!?

Only if he let go and gave up, the pain would stop, but Modama couldn't do that! He was in disbelief that his own daughter was this powerfull. Wasn't she only a sick girl with a gifted ability? That was all he thought about Luna all this time, wasn't that because her ability, she would have been death in his hand long time ago.

Modama suddenly stood up and s.n.a.t.c.hed the sword that attached on the waist of the head of Misty Cloud Clan.

He swung the sword ferociously toward the cell bar. The next second all they could hear was the piercing metal collide with each other, the sound echoed for more than ten second inside that narrow place.

The bars of the cell were shaking but didn't shutter, instead, the sword that Modama used, cut into two.

Modama throw the sword and kicked the cell bar. "Concoct something to reduce the pain!" He roared toward Gong Xu, who had his back against the wall.

Gong Xu's face was so pale and he was so afraid by his father outburst, however he was very unwilling to help him.

"No." He shook his head stubbornly as he gulped hard.

"No!!?" That wasn't the answer that Modama wanted to hear from his mouth. He grabbed his hair until his head was like a nest as he stared dagger at Gong Xu infront of him. "Open the cell!"

Didn't want for Modama to have another outburst, the guard nearby hastily approached him and opened the cell.

Sometime the locked cell was a good thing, because it could prevent the worse thing from the outside stayed at the outside.

But now, since the door had opened and Modama entered the cell, the only thing that ran inside Gong Xu's mind was; would it be the end of him? Being killed by his own father?

That thought was very possible, as he had just wanted to kill his sister.

Modama moved very fast towards Gong Xu and punched him hard until he fell to the ground and groaned in pain, wasn't able to stand up.

Maybe it was because Modama was in anger so his punched was contain with his hatred or maybe it was because Gong Xu had grown so weak until he couldn't handle it.

Whichever the reason was, Gong Xu felt blood started to rise up on his throat as he cought blood in the next second.

"Drag him out!!!" Modama gave Gong Xu one more kicked before he let the two burly guards hauled him out of the cell and threw him right before Modam's feet.

"I will ask you this one more time." Modama hissed and gritted his teeth as another wave of pain washed his head mercilessly. "Created something that useful for me or I you will regret it."

Gong Xu didn't answer him as he clutched his chest, where Modama had kicked him before.

"Answer me!!!" Modama grabbed Gong Xu's hair and raised his face until they were in the same height.

"I will…" Gong Xu caught one more time before he added. "I will if you swear that you will leave my sister alone…"

Modama's eyes turned darkened upon hearing the condition that Gong Xu had mentioned.

"Leave your sister alone?" Modama sneered and spat on his face. "I will give her your head as the gift for her pregnancy, how is that sound?"

Gong Xu had expected something like that. He would be death in his father hand…

"Cut all of his fingers, arms, legs and let him bleed to death before you cut his head." Modama said in eerie tone.
