Here came one man and one woman walking on the streets of Alska, the capital of the Kingdom of Babnika.
In his twenties, the man was clothed in a magic gown. His good-looking face looked quite rascally, and on him, there was no calmness and solemnity that each sorcerer was supposed to possess.
The woman was exceedingly beautiful with her blonde hair dropping down on her back like the sunshine. Her well-developed body was clad in a silvery armor with a sword on her back. Valiant and heroic in bearing, she was like a swordsman.
That was right. They were me and Livia.
After the chaotic fighting in the forest, the two old guys asked Livia to accompany me to Alska to save Princess Olivia with the Phoenix Blood. In the meantime, they would dedicate themselves to finding a way to send me back to my original world.
I didn't know what they said true or not. Since Livia kept me company, I would also go if they asked me to go to h.e.l.l.
Livia completely changed her att.i.tude toward me after that day. Although she was still unwilling to talk to me, she always looked at me with her strange eyes. When my eyes met hers, she instantly bowed her blushing face, which was also inviting to me.
However, each time I wanted to take further steps, she would punch me with her delicate fists.
Alas! The revolutionary wasn't yet successful, so I still had to work hard.
Julius once took Livia to Alska, so she was acquainted with the roads. After entering the city gate, she directly led me to the imperial city.
I said while holding her delicate hand, "Little Ya, let's eat at a restaurant first before entering the imperial city, shall we? After all, we don't know what will happen after entering it."
I was intrigued the most by the food here since I arrived in this world. Although I didn't have access to yams, I could taste many different kinds of food and vegetables, most of which were quite delicious and made me drool at the thought of them.
Livia didn't care about me calling her "Little Ya". She rolled her eyes at me and said helplessly and coyly, "You scoundrel, I don't what to do with you."
I didn't know why she always called me "scoundrel", which I felt hopeless to change, because my parents named me this. Alas, as long as she felt happy, she could call me this at her will.
The moment we set foot on a restaurant, the exceedingly beautiful look of Livia drew all the people's attention. As she furrowed her eyebrows, her body immediately released a cold breath, which made many diners look away.
A young man who sat on the innermost seat caught my attention. A little elder than me, he was tall and strong and attired in a silvery armor with a sword and a shield placed beside him. Now, he was staring at Livia with a smile.
I immediately felt angry inside and was about to teach him a lesson. Livia shouted in surprise and then went straight to him.
I subconsciously released my killing intent, closely fixed my eyes on him, and really wanted to bake him into a roasted chicken first, then sliced it into pieces...
The rest of the description was too cruel, so it was left out.
Livia stood in front of him and said, "Parker, why are you here?"
That guy named Parker glanced at the furious me with interesting eyes and said, "I'm here for a reason, of course. The strange thing is, how does the cold Livia, 'Swordsman of Fantasy' show up with a man?"
Livia looked back at me, and then her dainty face instantly turned pink, which was pretty charming.
Parker said in surprise, "Alas, do you blush, too? No, you can't be Livia. Say, why are you pretending to be her?"
Seeing that he was nice talking to Livia, I couldn't hold back my jealousy anymore. Although I was often mealy-mouthed to her, I actually was attracted to her and really fell for her.
My surging magic power was abruptly released, making all the dinnerware cracked and all diners in disorder.
I didn't target Parker personally, but along with my eyesight, most of the airflow automatically rushed toward him, and even Livia was also affected. She couldn't help shouting in surprise, "Scoundrel, don't..."
Humph, she was so protective of him.
I was so jealous of him that all the airflow concentrated on him.
His face became grave and asked, "Is he the teacher's new disciple?"
Livia nodded her head. He unsheathed the sword beside him like lightning and stabbed me with a loud laugh. Consequentially, the magic power airflow was split into half by his super-high-speed airflow and brushed past him.
My fighting desire was provoked, and this was the first time that I had been so eager to fight except for the battle with Chirping Bird last time.
I yelled at the people at the restaurant, "Get out or face the consequences." Then, I prepared myself by casting out the magic.
Livia was very shocked and lost her usual calmness. Parker stopped her when she wanted to say something. "Don't worry. I won't hurt him and just want to know how much he has learned from the teacher."
How could he know that Livia wasn't worried about me getting hurt at all? She was afraid that I would do something irreversible with my magic power that I was unable to control well at the moment.
I stretched out my finger, and then a dozen wind arrows accompanied by blue halos were shot out from my hand and toward him. The sharply piercing sound was so deafening.
"Bravo," exclaimed he. He then nimbly flashed through the wind arrows and stabbed me with his sword. What he was using was the close combat, the most effective skill to deal with the sorcerers.
Because of the devotion to the magic, the sorcerers short on exercise were rather weak physically. Plus a lot of time wasted upon chanting the magic spell, they were afraid of such close combats the most, so they would always have warriors protect themselves at the same time.
However, I was an exception. Seeing him rushing at me, I, with a sneer, stretched my sword-like hand and stabbed at him transversely.
