Chapter 444 [Side Story] Do You Want To Touch It?

Ren lingered in the bath for another five minutes or so. Staring at his reflection in the mirror, a robe draped across his body, palms plastered against the sink top.

This is it . . . this is it . . . were really going to . . .

Closing his eyes tight, he inhaled deeply, calming his rioting nerves. He had never imagined himself to have a physical relationship with a woman before. Due to his past, he developed an aversion towards the opposite s.e.x, even towards his fellow males.

But Evie was different. He wanted to be near her, wanted to touch and kiss her â€"â€" all the time.

Psyching himself, he went to Evie in the bedroom.

Ren's rampaging hormones calmed down at the sight of her. She was sitting on the mattress near the fireplace, gazing at the window where stars silently fell from the sky. Her face flushed, and breathe steamy.

When their eyes met, all his nervousness, fear, and agitation was replaced by an overwhelming desire to touch and explore her. To love her.

Gulping his unending saliva, Ren sauntered towards her on the bed.

When Evie saw the approaching man, the hair on her arms and neck rose at the intensity in Ren's eyes and the male dominance he excluded with his every step. The man in front of her was very much male and very much dominating â€"â€" and he was hers.

Evie's chest fluttered painfully. A pleasurable shiver caused her nerve endings to stir and tingle. Her knees were loosening, feeling weak. And an overwhelming to join and become one overrode her thoughts.

It was low and strained. Evie responded with another kiss to seal his lips. Her trembling fingers were reaching past the gap between his robe, touching his warm skin.

"Are you . . . absolutely sure, Evie . . . ?" Ren murmured between kisses with an edge to his tone.

Evie's teeth playfully dragged Ren's lower lip before she released it and smiled charmingly.

"Yes. I've never been this certain in my life."

Ren cupped her face and looked her in the eyes.

"Know there's no going back after this."

Evie giggled. It was so Ren. Raising a brow, she masked the nervousness she felt with false confidence.

"I know what will happen, and I'm ready for it as long as it's you. So make it worthwhile. Your girlfriend yearns to be pleased."

". . ."

Ren laughed. His deep chuckles lifted the pint of the room. Evie was a poker-faced calm woman who could go from royal to a gangster in a fraction of a second.

Ren caressed her face with the pad of his thumbs and kissed her forehead.

"Mm . . . I'll try my best."

They stared at each other, and without knowing when it happened, their lips were already locked with one another.

Sliding on the mattress, Evie laid on her back, their mouth never parting. Ren pressed their body together, pushing his lips against hers in a soft brush.

The bed was soft and warm. Evie could feel Ren's arm draped over her, more comforting than any blanket she had ever laid under. His smell enveloped her, making her feel safe and warm, and happy.

Ren ran his hand over her back, the soft hairs tickling the tips of his fingers. Her hair had grown so long now, white, wavy like silk. He clutched it in his hands and felt the silky wonders smoothing in his fingers. The way they framed her face made him l.u.s.t for her more than he remembered.

Ren's eyes were colored grey, which was colder than the winter sky, yet Evie found warmth when she looked deep into them. In his eyes, she saw her reflection. As she looked upon herself, in his perfectly grey eyes glistening with love for her, she knew she had fallen.

Evie wanted to stay with him forever. She couldn't look away, but more than that, she didn't want to. She wanted those eyes to be the last thing she ever saw.

I love you. Evie wanted to scream. I love you more than you know.

Ren's lips were soft and gentle, and Evie's little fingers sprawled against his chest, tugging his robe apart in impatience as their kiss grew heavy and their breathing grew faster and more audible.

Deepening the kiss with a gentle stroke of his tongue, Ren slid his hand inside her robe, pushing it aside before his lips touched and sampled her neck and shoulders, leaving moist prints and trails.

Tingling, pleasurable aches flooded Evie's body as her toes curled in the process. She was growing wet and sensitive by the moment, desiring friction between her thighs, and the force she exerted on yanking Ren's robe increased.

Feeling Evie wanting to touch his skin, Ren pulled away and kneeled between her legs.
