Twins Bond 41 Do Not Blame Yourself

"It's okay now love, I'm sorry I scared you" he used his hand to pat her read.

"I was not scared you know" she sniggled.

"Yeah, cry baby" Itachi teased her.

Slowly she moved from his arm and shifted back to Itachi, before she could relax on her brother, she fell forward but Itachi caught her and steadied her.

"Easy there Sakiko."

"Thanks, I am okay" she gave him a small smile but before he could do anything or say anything, she fell back on his body.

"Sakiko!!" They all yelled her name.

"Nurse!!" Itsumi ran out of the ward as the called for the nurse.

"Sakiko" Sasuke yelled again. Sasuke tried to leave his bed but Itachi stopped him by holding his palm up. "Itachi... "

He had a look of worry and pain in his eyes, he was scared s.h.i.t.

"Sasuke stay back, don't you dare do it" Sasuke's hand was on the drip connected to his arm.

He gritted his teeth in anger, "d.a.m.n it" he cursed under his breath as he stared at them.

"Its no good, she is burning up" Itachi said to Sasuke. "Now what am I going to tell dad and Fr. Tanaka" he whispered to himself.

"Just where is the nurse?" Sasuke complained, anger rising as he felt useless not being able to move an inch.

Bang!

The door burst open as Itsumi ran in with the nurse. "She suddenly collapsed."

"The stretcher would be here any minute now, then we can carry her to the next ward" the nurse told them.

"No need, I would carry her, let's go" Itachi carried Sakiko in his arms bridal style and headed out the room.

**Sakiko's Ward**

She lay peacefully on the bed with a drip connected to her left hand. Itsumi stayed quietly with her in the room, she sat on a chair in the ward and watched her sister closely.

The door opened and a woman entered, Itsumi turned her head at the intruder, as she looked at her, tears threatened to fall from her lovely eyes.

"Mum!" She got up and hugged her mother.

"It's okay Itsumi, she'll be alright dear" Mrs Ishida comforted her daughter.

Sobs!! "Mum" she let the tears flow freely now.

"Shh, there, there honey. Let it out, momma is here baby" she rubbed Itsumi's head with one hand and her back with another as her daughter melted into the hug.

After a few minutes, she calmed down and withdrew from her mum's embrace.

"All better?"

"All better mum. Thanks."

"That my girl, give mummy a big smile" she flashed her mum a toothed smile and Mrs Ishida smile back.

"Mum, have you seen Sasuke?"

"Yes, by the way Itachi asked after you, you can go meet your twin, he is worried sick."

"But Sakiko... "

"I am here, I would watch her, move along now."

"Thanks mum" she walked pa.s.sed her mum and left the room.

**Sasuke's Ward**

Door opened and Itsumi walked in. "Hey" she said with a low voice.

Itachi hot up from where he sat and went to hug her. "Hey, how are you?"

"I am fine, how about you guys?"

"h.e.l.lo Itsumi, how is Sakiko?"

"She hasn't woken up yet, but mum is with her."

"I had honestly hoped she hadn't drank out of it but I was wrong, she had sipped from it all right" he had a down cast look round about him.

"If only I didn't make her come to the party, then this wouldn't have happened to her" he raised his head to look at the twins, eyes full of regret.

"Don't say that Sasuke, look on the bright side, if she wasn't there... "

"Well Mari would have had her way. Who knows what that psycho of a girl would have done" Itsumi added.

"So do not blame yourself Sasuke. It's all going to be fine" Itachi a.s.sured.
