Twins Bond 29 The Party

"Wanna dance?"

"What!" He turned to face the twins again but his gaze remained on Itsumi.

"Wanna dance?" She asked again.

"Umm no. I–I... " without waiting for his reply, Itsumi pushed him to the center of the living room and left him there.

He turned to look at her and they had a eye battle. It was more like "I want to leave the dance floor" and Itsumi replied with her eyes wide open and threatening, "Don't you dare!"

Resigning to his fate, Sasuke sighed and made his way to the group of friends. Sakiko saw him approach and took some steps towards him.

"Dance with me Sasuke" the DJ played a new song. It was an old school jam in the 90's, Honey, Honey, Honey by ABBA.

"But I... I... there are too many eyes around Sakiko!"

"Feel free and dance with me" she winked at him and they slowly began to dance, few seconds later they danced fast to the beat.

The spotlight shone on the two of them, Sasuke became conscious.

"Relax, let your focus be on me, enjoy the party" she rea.s.sured him.

On and on they danced to their hearts content as the lights came back on and everyone joined.

Mr Ishida tapped on the Reverend Father's shoulders and beckoned on him to follow him.

They went to the dinning table where Mrs Ishida sat and joined her.

"It was so nice of you to join us Father. Thanks for coming" Mr Ishida began.

"Well anything to make him happy" he said with a nod to Mr Ishida.

"I have a favor to ask" Mr Ishida's gaze trailed to his wife by his side.

"Yes sir, ask away."

"I hope you would be able to grant it Fr. Tanaka."

"That would depend on the favor you are asking for" he looked at both couples with his hands on the dinning table.

"Well we want to adopt him" he dropped the bomb after a pause and watching Fr. Tanaka's expression which was calm, he continued.

"Well, he makes her happy, I haven't seen Sakiko more happier than this before and I would like for that to continue" he looked at the dance floor and saw the happiness on his daughter's face.

"I think they love each other and to prevent them from doing anything stupid, I would want to adopt him. Then as siblings, they won't do anything and perhaps when they grow up they can marry someone else or each... No, I do not know what I am saying."

"You want to adopt him, hmm. well it's not up to me but them. They have grown, so they can decide themselves" he spoke calmly.

"I would love to have him as a son" Mrs Ishida chipped in after being silent all through the conversation.

Fr. Tanaka smiled at the couple, "Only if you knew he was actually your son" he thought.

"They dance really well" as he turned his gaze to them, changing the topic.

"Yeah, they do" Mr Ishida agreed.

After some time, their friends stand aside and talked while enjoying their drinks. Some had lemonade, some pineapple juice and apple juice.

"I bet they would soon do something stupid" the all timer trouble maker said.

"Like what Mari? For once why must you wish her ill, I mean she called you friend!!"

"Let it be Reina" Ayumi held her friend's shoulder.

"Whatever" she rolled her eyes, "Well something like kissing. I know when something like that would happen. The mood's all set with the kind of romantic music the DJ is playing. Then when that happens, seeing as Father is here, they would get expelled. Isn't that fantastic!!"

All their cla.s.smate present just looked at her with a shocked expression.

"Is this girl crazy or what!"

"Who invited her here by the way?" Bashira turned to look at her friends.

"I'm sorry, she wouldn't let me be when I mistakenly told her I was coming here for Sakiko's welcome party" Noriko said timidly.
