Red was now contemplating about the game that is now the hot topic called Sword Art Online. It is the first VRMMORPG ever created and the creator Kayaba Akihiko is also called a super genius for creating this game which will be launched tomorrow morning.

Red then thought about his family members here on earth. he didn't have any siblings and he couldn't remember the name and face of his parents which was weird.

After reminscing his past world Red finished eating and walked out of the food stall.

Sebastian nodded with a smile "It is already installed young master you just need to wait for the game to launch and you can immediately okay it.

After finishing his talk with Sebastian he went up to his room and saw the nerve gear that is placed beside his bed.

He ignored it then immediately went back to sleep he was somewhat tired because it has been a roller coaster after being transported here.

On the next day Red woke up and ate the food that Sebastian served, he then took a shower and immediately went back to his room and put the nerve gear on.

He laid down on the bed and said "Link Start!"

He was now inside the character settings trying to make his own character he just chose the most identical features he has and immediately went to the character cla.s.s.

There were many weapons to choose from ranging to swords,rapier,long sword,greatswords etc.

Red checked all the types and in the end he chose a two handed greatsword. the last step was to put an alias name he didn't thought about it much and immediately put his own name and finished everything.

Red was then teleported to town of beginning and he saw many players popping out of no where.

The first thing that Red did was explore the town he was fascinated when he was interacting with an NPC because it really looks like a real human being.

After exploring for an hour Red decided to get out of town see what kind of monster they have but as soon as Red was about to leave he was immediately teleported back to the town square.

He glanced around and saw that all the players were teleported here, Red was curious as to what is the reason behind this summoning.

Red didn't have to think much because Kayaba Akihiko the GM appeared and explained them about this death game and how to escape from it.

Everyone was panicking on what to do but Red was just grinning from ear to ear. he didn't know why but having the thrill of being killed in this game was the most thrilling thing that Red had ever experienced.

He didn't care about the other kids who was now breaking down because of this.

Kayaba then told them to get something from their inventory which was a mirror, after taking it out the mirror broke and they immediately reverted back to their real face rather than the avatar they created.

Red also recovered his face back and his red eyes which was intimidating to see.

Kayaba then disappeared and the restriction on the square vanished the players who were still sane immediately dashed out and tried to get a head start from the others.

Red shook his head seeing this and walked out the square casually starting his journey on this death game.

T/N: Red's twohanded sword means he is using a big sword while needing two hands to use is you can call it a greatsword whatsoever, I use the term "twohanded" because that's the term I'm familiar with, hope to clear up some misunderstandings.
