In the lobby, a dozen bulky goons stood behind Mac Kai An.

A man walked toward Mac Kai An, and eyed her exposed cleavage.

‘Miss Mac, you’re more beautiful in person,’ the man said.

‘Are you here to return your key?’ Mac Kai An asked.

‘Yes,’ the man said.

The man’s hands were itching to squeeze Mac Kai An plastic giant buns.

Mac Kai An gave the man money, and he thought it was his lucky night. He got to ogle a plump chest, and receive money from a beautiful woman.

Feng Kai Ze understood Mac Kai An came to the apartment hotel Da Tian Ting rented for revenge.

Da Tian Ting thought that she and Feng Kai Ze couldn’t fight against all the goons Mac Kai An hired.

‘Little monkey, let’s leave,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘We shouldn’t risk our lives to save our pride.’

‘Don’t be scared,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘We don’t know who’ll lose yet.’

Feng Kai Ze’s confident smile rea.s.sured Da Tian Ting.

The concierge brought Da Tian Ting’s suitcase to her, and they smiled apologetically at her.

‘Miss, we’re sorry we can’t give you accommodation,’ a concierge said.

‘Why?’ Da Tian Ting asked.

Da Tian Ting suspected it was Mac Kai An using fame to play dirty.

‘Miss, I’m sorry,’ the concierge said.

Da Tian Ting noticed a few more guests accepted money from Mac Kai An, and left the apartment hotel.

A while later, all the guests left the apartment hotel either for money or out of fear of offending Mac Kai An. Only Da Tian Ting and Feng Kai Ze stayed in the lobby.

Mac Kai An flicked her hair.

‘I’ve paid for all the accommodation in Gu Wen,’ Mac Kai An said. ‘Today I’m going to show you two what happens if you offend me. If you two don’t apologise to me then don’t dream of leaving Gu Wen.’

The goons looked menacingly at Da Tian Ting and Feng Kai Ze. He stood in front of her, and she held onto his shirt. If they weren’t up against a group of people, she wouldn’t be scared to curse and fight.

‘Little monkey, let’s leave,’ Da Tian Ting said.

Feng Kai Ze turned around, and caressed Da Tian Ting’s face.

‘Is she scaring you?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.

Feng Kai Ze wasn’t going to be merciful toward Mac Kai An, because Mac Kai An hurt and scared Da Tian Ting.

‘They have a big group of people,’ Da Tian Ting said. ‘We only have us. We should leave.’

Two goons closed the entrance doors.

‘Don’t worry,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Tonight we’ll be staying here.’

‘But she paid for all the rooms,’ Da Tian Ting said.

‘We’ll see if she can afford to pay for our room,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘What’s there to see?’ Mac Kai An asked. ‘I’ve paid for all the rooms here.’

‘Then let’s have an auction,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Are you scared to see who’ll outbid who?’

‘Fine,’ Mac Kai An said. ‘I’m not scared of outbidding you.’

‘Good,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Five hundred thousand dollars. You can start raising the bid.’

Everyone were gobsmacked after hearing Feng Kai Ze’s high first bid.

‘Do you need to waste that much money?’ Da Tian Ting asked softly.

Da Tian Ting wouldn’t save anywhere close to five hundred thousand dollars in her lifetime.

‘It’s only lunch money,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘I’m not going to let her off the hook for scaring you.’

Mac Kai An was scared of losing more than five hundred thousand dollars.

‘Five hundred and ten thousand dollars,’ Mac Kai An said.

‘Six hundred thousand dollars,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Six hundred and ten thousand dollars,’ Mac Kai An said.

‘Eight hundred thousand dollars,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

The goons changed their minds. They wanted to be on Feng Kai Ze’s side.

‘Eight hundred and ten thousand dollars,’ Mac Kai An said.

‘One million dollars,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘One point one million dollars,’ Mac Kai An said.

‘One point two million dollars,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘One point five million dollars,’ Mac Kai An said.

‘One point eight million dollars,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘Two million dollars!’ Mac Kai An said.

Mac Kai An was scared of her own mouth. She would be poor if she wasted two million dollars.

‘Congratulations Miss Mac, you’ve paid two million dollars for accommodation here,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘Have a good stay.’

Feng Kai Ze picked up Da Tian Ting’s suitcase, held her hand and walked toward the entrance doors.

‘Come back here!’ Mac Kai An said.

Feng Kai Ze turned around.

‘What’s the problem?’ Feng Kai Ze asked.

‘What do you want?’ Mac Kai An asked.

‘Everyone here knows what I want to do,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘You outbid me so I’m leaving with my girlfriend.’

‘Do you think you can bluff, make me pay two million dollars and leave?’ Mac Kai An asked.

‘You used your own mouth to bid, it has nothing to do with me,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

Da Tian Ting was relieved Feng Kai Ze tricked Mac Kai An to cough up two million dollars. It would teach Mac Kai An to be humble in the future.

‘You’re too much,’ Mac Kai An said.

Mac Kai An wouldn’t have money to buy food in the morning.

‘I warned you that you’ll pay a high price if you offend me by hurting and scaring my girlfriend,’ Feng Kai Ze said. ‘This is the high price you have to pay. You’re no longer a star.’

‘My star status isn’t something you can take away from me,’ Mac Kai An said.

‘Watch the news and read the headlines tomorrow and you’ll understand,’ Feng Kai Ze said.

‘What do you mean?’ Mac Kai An asked.

Feng Kai Ze didn’t answer Mac Kai An, and he took another step to the entrance doors with Da Tian Ting.

‘Don’t let them leave!’ Mac Kai An said.
